I avoid shopping here if I can. The prices are just too high. The produce is not the freshest, yet the prices for it are ridiculously high. I've lived in this town for decades and have never had a nice cashier at this store. IGA in town has the nicest cashiers, but their prices have gotten outrageous, too. I would prefer not to leave town to grocery shop, but the two grocery stores in Newton Falls are just too high priced.

Everyone was so good to me, I asked about a product and it they could go about seeing if they could try n stock a certain flavor. So, they took down my number and they called me the next day and said that the vendor only carries specific ones and that they would keep trying. That's awesome! Nowhere does that stuff anymore!

Customer service is poor and the employees are rude when they have to assist you and talk down to you and are very impatient. And I had a personal experience with an employee there belittling me in front of the entire store over a misunderstanding on Shop n Save add.

I can no longer safely shop in this store. Every single week there are flashing and strobing lights everywhere in the store. Multiple times I have encountered the SAME flashing lights the very next week. Once it was a MONTH before that particular panel was fixed. I've contacted corporate before about this issue, which they promptly replied with a "talk to the manager" rather than run any kind of interference themselves. It's hard to talk to the manager when they are either a) never there when you are, and b) fighting through auras and trying not to have a seizure and die on their floor. It is very much not worth the potential injury.Beyond that, the store is just a mess. I'm constantly finding rotten and moldy food in the produce section. None of which lasts as it should. The meat is old and poor quality. And for general groceries there's just not much of a selection. The deli counter is about the only nice thing, with quality meat and kind and helpful staff that works there. The rest of the staff is hit or miss. There are some very nice ones and then there are some that very clearly don't want to be there. I've noticed though between overhearing conversations and talking with some of the better staff that it's clear that management is an issue in more than just their lack of maintenance. There have been so many times that staff have been made to work long hours without even the smallest break, let alone getting to go to lunch. Quality service starts from the top down, and in that this store has failed epically as far as I'm concerned.After my last visit, I decided to "order" the same exact items from Giant Eagle to compare prices and it was the same cost. (GE was actually cheaper, but without the sale savings it was the same.) If I'm going to pay the high price of groceries, I may as well get the selection of a larger store. Oh, and no flickering lights trying to take me out.

My absolute pet peeve about this store is that they shut off all of the cold case lighting as much as 20 min prior to close then make urgent announcements every few minutes to chase shoppers out before 8pm. It’s just rude. The best businesses open 5 minutes early and close up 5 minutes late.

Store is clean, checkout reasonably fast. Sale prices decent, but regular prices slightly high on some things (tho it's hard to tell with inflation whether it's this store or everywhere). My biggest issue is with product selection - there seems to be a weird mix of extensive selection on some products, & others that you can't find at all.

Shopping prices are normal. Mostly clean place and usually stocked. Most of the workers are snobby and rude. The store doesn't close till 8 but if you try to get anything from the deli after 630 p.m. the lady back there will huff and puff and complain about everything because she has to cut up meat and clean it up after and do her job. I don't appreciate being belittled for trying to feed my family during your business hours.

They have everything I need there. I might on occasion have to drive all the way to Walmart for say some turkey bacon but other than that it feels like the store my grandmother took me to when I was a child. It's a good feeling.

I can't express just how much I like this grocery store. I go there for all my needs especially for birthday cakes. When I tell you I came in with sonic action figures and asked them to help me make something to match to give my kid the sonic cake he wanted. They were so helpful and not only did I love the cake but my son loved it and so did everyone that came to his party.I was able to add my action figures that I bought to it and it looked so good. And tasted even better.

I have no idea how this place is well rated, unless it's changed throughout the years. Moved here less than a year ago and this is one of the closest grocery store near me which was convenient. As i kept on visiting the store I've learned that you can only buy food if you are planning on using it in no more than 3 days. Cheese, fruit, meats go bad very quickly. Some food is expired especially food that doesn't seem to be bought often. And fruits and vegetables not only go bad quick but they taste terrible or with little flavor at all. The only thing i suggest from here is just the avocado. Here is an image of how bad their fruit is, a watermelon i just got yesterday with terrible flavor. Also they need to update hours online, got there at 7:50ish on a Thursday and they were announcing the store would close at 8 when online it says they are open till 9pm.

good place to shop. some prices are a little high, but what place doesn't have that any more? they have great deals and 3 day specials all the time and they are worth it!! most workers are very kind and helpful, and I love that we get gas perks too now! I will say that at the gas part (Velaro), cards will only work one way and if you cant get it right, the manager will come out and help you, so nice! I wish they made the Chinese cookies again though, hint hint, LOL.

This store is very clean and well stocked. They offer a wide array of items so it's easy to find something I like.My only complaint is the cashier's let you know that they find it a hassle to have to bag your items.

Nice store They have a good stock of mostly name brand foods. They have a good deli with roasted chickens and fried chicken. Pricing is reasonable compared to other stores.

Really upsetting on how the employees talk to customers and complain about using wic and making them feel downgraded about it. Two clerks complained the whole time that I had to use wic and said how much they did like it. When something wouldn’t come off my wic card the lady said “great now we have to start all over” “this is why I hate doing this stuff” she made me feel absolutely awful. I won’t be returning. Very unfortunate

First time shopper here. This place wasn't what I expected. It was so much more! Great deals on meat, lots of name brands at decent prices. Reminds me of a low key giant eagle. Also very clean. Will definitely be returning.

Not a bad place to do your grocery shopping. Has probably the best beer selection in town. They even offer a make your own six pack of craft beer for 10 bucks. They also have the most pierogi flavors I've ever seen.

Shop 'n Save is a convenient grocery store in our community. Their prices are a little higher than most grocery stores, but they have great weekly specials. Check out their website. They usually have just about any grocery item you need in stock at a fair price. They have a nice selection of kitchen utensils. Their ice cream isle has a good variety. Cakes from the bakery are great. Deli sale prices are terrific. Decent selection of beers and other alcohol.

They have Perky member savings so you can cash in on their deals. The staff is great. An employee volunteered to walk our kids to the bathroom while I was checking out because it was hard to find. Very friendly and laid back small town store.

This is a family owned businesses, and the store was very clean. However prices seem high to me here, Not to the point where I feel taken advantage of, but high enough that I question if I really need the item. This is probably out of their control, and I consider this additional cost a convenience fee for shopping locally in a small town.

Love our shop n save. Now that they added the gas station and points it's awesome! Turkey give away at Thanksgiving was super cool. It is great to have a local store so close to home that has everything that I need!

Good sale prices but very pricey otherwise. Selection is ok. Staff is touch and go. Some days they are super nice other days they treat you like an inconvenience. Baked goods are good, nice selection to preorder birthday cakes.

Great service, especially at the deli counter. The ladies that helped me were happy to accommodate my crazy request of cubing fresh mozzarella for our road trip. Will recommend this place to anyone visiting Newton Falls.
