If I could leave a 0 I would, this store has jacked us around for over a year when we took our chain saw in for repair. After months with no word but many calls and promises to return calls we finally went in to check and they brought it out to us. We get the saw home and it will not start we paid almost $100.00 for the repair. They then told us that their repair man had quit. By this time it's winter but we've been promised a call again from the female manager that never comes. March we take it back again, they call and say it needs a carburetor, the Manager is rude and says it might not even be the same saw. They said it does start though, we ask them to start it but of course there is no one that can do that but the manager who says she can meet with us today at 5:00. As usual she doesn't show we bring the saw home with the original blue tag from the very first visit and now we're out almost $100.00. Why couldn't they just repair it since we paid for repair., 😔

Rude kid at the front counter both times that I was in the store. Horrible people skills but I was thankful for the lady who helped me the second time I was in. Absolutely no excuse for attitude towards customers. I will not be shopping here any longer.

Julie and the staff are awesome. I can think of at least 3 times they have let me come in as they where closing to get supplies needed to fix something. Julie helped me figure out a color of paint needed when I didn’t have the old can or formula. Which took almost an hour after close. Now that is customer service. Wish I could give 10 stars. Guess I’ll just have to spend more money there

I purchased a Weber Grill here today. I couldn't be happier with the service. Julie was the person who helped me. She was very personable, and was unbelievably knowledgeable of the product, and went above and beyond to help me. The whole experience was exceptional!!

Usually have what I need. A little more expensive, but it's the only game in town without having to drive 20-30 minutes. Glad they are here, but they would get more business if they stayed open later in the evening.Edit: In general, but I believe that you have changed the hours recently. I updated my review to 5* because of the excellent customer service I had recently. They went out of the way to help me find fittings for a plumbing emergency. Much appreciated!

Such rude store associates. Every experience I've had here has been bad. I came in for a j trap for our bathtub and I finally had a nice worker trying to help me. Then the lights turned out and the man tries to let them know that we were still in the plumbing shopping and they were so rude over their mics. Saying are you serious?! Said they already pulled the drawer so I wouldn't be able to buy anything. And they had the doors locked when I went to leave. You should probably check the store to make sure there are no costumers left in the store before you shut it down. And get some better manners.

I undetstand about the terrible virus and the need for safety of customer's is very important. However, there is no reason for the staff to be so rude. I went through 3 staff members to go ahead and get what I needed. All 3 were so rude that I was there. If the staff there does not want to help customer's who are keeping the store open then they should just close down. I and my family will never go there again. Now is the time to stick together not to treat customers like crap

It’s was a cold January night 5 minutes till closing, when I was faced with a struggle in my project (heavily glued down kitchen carpet). Not expecting the glue to be so tuff to remove I placed a call to NFAH (Newton Falls Ace Hardware) and asked if them might carry an adhesive remover, me being the impatient person I am asked if I could come get some tonight now with 3-4 minutes before closing. I raced down there trying to hurry so they could go home and what I was greeted with upon walking in the store was not what is usual for customer service, when they stay later than necessary. I was greeted with the BEST customer service!! Everyone there was more than willing to help find a solution to my problem. Not just showing me when the product was located but also helping me decipher each product and it’s ability to remove adhesive the best. The end result being they got me the stuff I needed and good quality at a decent price. I highly recommend Newton Falls Ace Hardware and the very helpful people who make it a great place to shop!

Rude associates. We are supposed to be social distancing and one of the associates was so close to my husband he stepped on his heel and almost tripped him. We went in looking for one thing and the shelf was empty, we were trying to leave and an associate was blocking the door. The ignorant woman at the register told us if we weren't buying anything we had to leave. We were trying to buy something and you didn't have it and we were trying to leave but couldn't get out the door. Ignorant workers, we used to shop there a lot but never again.

The sales staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Ace Hardware has all of those last minute must have items for maintenance, plumbing, electrical and building materials when doing repairs at home.
