Love stopping into locally owned and sourced stores. Clean, a nice deli counter, and restocked without having to go too far from our campground. Bonus diesel was priced pretty well. Near a Dollar General too.

Friendly and very helpful staff. Very limited variety to what I'm used to in a large chain store and goodness the prices are ridiculously high. I moved back home a week ago after living 30 years in Tampa Bay. I thought our huge, gorgeous, excellent service Publix stores were expensive. I guess not.

This was my first trip to the little town of Newcomers town, Ohio. While in the general area, I stopped inside Riesbeck's Food Market and found a great hometown feel among the people and those who work there as well!Staff was courteous and sincere, the store was clean and well stocked. I am so happy I stopped in! I went for coffee creamer and $50 later, I walked out with several items I could not possibly find at my big city grocery stores.I was not rushed to check out; and my cashier spoke to me as though she had known me my whole life...I absolutely LOVE that!When I head back that way, going I-77 South from Canton, OH...less than an hour away, it would most certainly be worth my while to return to Riesbeck's Food Market!

We were regular shoppers at IGA because they were close , so we have been shopping here since Riesbecks took over . The place is immaculately clean . But the prices have gotten out of control. Compared to other stores ,they are way higher. So we will be traveling further to buy groceries. Even weighing in using more gas , it is going to be cheaper

Produce left to sit in open air that should be refrigerated, gnats buzzing around the tomatoes, plenty of soft past its prime veggies as well. Selection has also gone down since store changed names.

Everything at reisbecks is overpriced especially fresh vegetables and fruits. This being summer you would think prices would be fair but a bell pepper costing .88 cents at walmart is 1.59 here.

Was just passing by to get gas and seen sign chix $1.69 pork loin $2.00 per # decided to shop on way home LOTs GREAT prices spent $126

Riesbecks have ruined this store. The Baked goods are horrible now. Nothing is fresh everything gets brought up from Cambridge and Riesbecks bakery sucks. The food in the deli is also bad now. They changed the recipes on almost all the food they sell in the deli. Not for the better. Why did you change the chicken it was the best, now.....eh. Prices are outrageous and nothing is consistent. Its a shame what Riesbecks did.

Quite a variety of foods I like and can't find closer. Always find what I'm looking for. Friendly, helpful people working there.This section happened the day before Christmas. While things were unavailable at another big-name store, the things I needed were available here. They always make sure they have things in stock for their customers. I really appreciate that.

High prices, produce typically not very good... Watch for expired items.Update now that it is riesbecks- great produce! Love the fruit selection... no longer finding expired items routinely. Remains slightly higher in prices.... nice local store

Clean, well stocked and friendly service. Only complaint is how much more expensive items are compared to other grocery retailers. Possibly due to lack of local competition? Because of price points I typically grab groceries when I'm out of town, but small needed items that don't warrant a trip I go in for and have always easily found them.

Small town grocery store but their deli food sucks compared to when it was Baker's IGA... bring back the Baker's macaroni salad (much better than Riesbeck's recipe) and work on keeping produce fresh and I'll change it to a 5 star review.

Riesbecks does not compare to Bakers IGA. I agree with another review. The deli chicken is a total rip off. Unfit to eat. Don't waste your money.Prices are way too high and they don't offer any sales that amount to a hill of beans. Avoid this store especially for family shopping. Its only good for picking up something you really need.

Honestly, Baker's prices are high on almost everything. Right their milk "special" is 2 gallons for 5 dollars. Thing is, only a short drive East or West, every day price is cheaper than that. So many other prices are also too high. Stores like Aldi's have a much better selection and at much better prices. At one time Baker's was a good place to shop...but not any more.

Update 8/30/18Since my original review the service has steadily declined. Especially the deli, extremely limited selection, inattentive to downright rude counter employees. I only stop here if it's my only option anymore which is sad considering how how nice this place used to be.I've been shopping here since I was a child. Some deals are to be found occasionally. Check the exp. dates on what you buy I've bought dozens of items over the years just to realize that they have been out of date by as much as 8 months.

Clean, good employees, and fairly nice place to shop but I don't live in Newcomerstown anymore and I could not find what I was looking for. Took several trips around the store. Ànd, no cart corral! Alabama spoiled me!!!

The kids and I were in town for a festival and decided to stop here to pick up some items for home. The store was clean, they had some great sales (no frequent shopper card required) and the staff were very friendly. I may sign up for their sales flyers and make the drive there.

So grateful the Store Manager has listened to those in the community and added a dedicated area of the store for GLUTEN FREE products. The selection is high quality GF products at reasonable prices. Thank-you, Roger, and, Baker's.

I have just left this store and I am really upset with the way I was treated. I work as a assistant manager at a retail establishment. Your service center employees just embarrassed me all the way to my car, yelling out the front doors that I did not pay for the water in my cart. I came back in to show them my receipt and all she could say was oh I didn't know what that was. The receipt clearly says Niagara water. This all would not have been so bad if an apology would have been offered by either one of the employees. Their customer service needs some work. Very disappointed, I have lived here for quite some time and never felt so humiliated in front of my neighbors. It will be awhile before I return to iga.

Local shopping is always nice. I don't have to leave town and the store is always neat and clean. A side from the COVID they usually have a variety of meat and if I have a special need I just have to ask.
