This has always been the worst dollar general ever. But I keep hoping after the remodel it would get better but nope. Isles so cramped with restocking boxes you can't see anything or walk, empty shelves & rude employees who don't want to wait on you. How does upper management not fix this after years of this happening?!

What a dump! This place is filthy dirty, I don't think they know what a mop is. The plastic sheild at the register is ridiculous. Barley enough room for your arm to fit they expect you to place all your purchases through it. Clutter everywhere! Doesn't upper management ever look at this place? Several times I've been in there they had three employees with one cashier open and who knows what the other two are doing? Definitely not cleaning!

I shopped there this morning because I had heard that they had remodeled and cleaned up. It may be cleaner but I was sorry to see the aisles still so full of things that you can't even walk through. I will not go back

Very Dirty and cluttered! Lighting is terrible and needs a serious update. Can't shop certain aisles due to stock taking them up. Only go there if I absolutely have to.

Horrible service and employees were rude. I was attacked verbally,buy a man because I was wearing rubber gloves, because I have COPD and I am currently on prednisone, which suppresses your immune system making me More susceptible to Viral and bacterial infections, but I needed water and Toilet paper, Anyway he said " That me wearing gloves is just going to get people more worked and used profanity,Nobody helped employees just watched ...store was disgusting a mess .I'm making sure I always use walmart from now on.The cashier also very mean. Store so messy and gross.

Store has ALWAYS looked great and fully stocked over the past 9 yrs I've shopped there! Does get aggravating when cashiers are made to stock shelves so far from registers so customers get stuck standing an waiting because the cashiers cant see the customers waiting.

The experience was awful. Seriously had 8 customers in line and they will not open other register. Employees standing around talking. A lot if stuff crammed in aisles. I hate the fact the Family Dollar closed. I will not be shopping at Dollar General. Employees are rude and hateful.

Every time I go to this specific location, the ads are always wrong! The signs say one thing and then the product rings up another price. They say it's because you don't buy a specific item but that is not mentioned anywhere else in the ad or store! The staff is usually always rude and disrespectful. I will not visit this location again! Waste of time and better of driving the extra miles to go to walmart!

It's a dollar general. It's cheap, it's crowded with narrow isles, and stands in walkways. Reasonably nice staff. Had peace tea at a buck. All dollar generals have the same layout. And it usually has what you need. Shop at dollar general today...

Dollar General is a GREAT place to get your things that you need. Prices are really good and customer service is friendly and helpful. I like it there a LOT.

The service was very friendly and I could easily navigate the store. My only complete is that the checkout was a rather long wait but the service I received was pleasant and worth the wait.

This dollar general needs to be updated. Every DG in a 20 miles radius is new and bigger. This one is awful. The parking lot lines are completely gone. The store is so crammed.

Good for Glad trash bags paper towels, cleaning and laundry supply's, they have variety of beads milk and snacks, a side of beef $33.99, half a pig $22.44

Nothing special about a DG, however when going through the checkout line and paying for your few items....perhaps remind your cashier it's highly inappropriate to ask customers what their job is and how you'd like the amount of cash in their wallet.Talk about uncomfortable!!! I've NEVER had anyone ask me what I do to earn MY bill money!!

Parking lot is tricky to get in and out, but the store is pretty clean. They have high volumes of items, so you can usually find something.

It's the first store i had to have a receipt to exchange clothes so now i have a pair of shoe that arr the wrong color and to big for my daughter she needed them to start work

As far as Dollar General stores go, this one is clean and well kept. Plenty of stock. Friendly employees.

The newcomerstown store is closing , there were only 2 associates in the store at the time they didn’t pay attention to the front of the store anybody could of went into the store and took what they wanted . NOT VERY ATTENATIVE!!!!
