Lisa Parker (the store manager) was extremely patient and kind helping me try to reset my account. We couldn’t get the reset password email. She helped me check out as a guest. I was very impressed with how the store was clean and stocked. Great store. Keep it up Lisa.

It was 40° in November so there was a beach but only a couple with their dogs playing. Looks like a happening place in the summer months. We enjoyed it!

It's one of the best Dollar Generals I have attended, honestly. It's well-organized, always clean isles and sells items here that you couldn't really find anywhere else. Managers are kind & helpful. I think it's great to have a Dollar General in Newbury.

Mediocre variety of food is totally out weighed by the rudeness of the manager. HE makes sly comments under his breath while walking around the store and is unpleasant to be rang out by. If you like hospitality and friendliness I DO NOT recommend this dollar general. I shop here because I don’t have many choices nearby where I live. Not because I would choose to. Now I am definitely taking the extra drive to Chardon.

As others have said, they are always stocking, leaving boxes all over the aisles so that it is dangerous to walk in there and impossible to maneuver a cart down the aisles. The boxes are stacked so high that you can't open the coolers to get what you came in for. I shop at other locations and they are much better than the Newbury store.

Very helpful clerks. And even though what we came to get were oddball items, this store had what we needed. From the air freshener to the yoga mat...ooooh I love my new phone thingy, it helps me gave my phone around my waste while I work out.

Poor. Very poor. New store but already one of the worst DG in a 20 mile radius.Dirty, clutter, junk, and stock all over the place every day. Grey/ discolored bacon in the cooler. Can't keep regular stock od many items. It's the horrible owner/ manager. Just compare it to other DG.. they don't have the same problems her stores have. Go to Montville DG if you want to see what your store should look like.I now drive 5 + miles away to the Aquilla Rd DG to avoid this one.Update- Nov 18th , needed cat food. Begrudgingly went there, closed at 5:45 pm. Typical.

It's just ok, not very organized and prices are not ever correct...and to get it fixed, well you may have to stay awhile. Managers are not real friendly. Update: They are improving. Glad to have a store in Newbury.

Most always find what I am looking for and even things I am not. Although it seems unfair that the employees do everything from run register to stocking and everything in between. So a customer has to wait while the employees have to come from the back of the store because they are so busy doing it all. And more times than not there is just product waiting to be put on the shelf.

Always kind smiling staff! Constantly being stocked, it's so busy. Missing 2 stars 'cause no internet signal inside store, so app rarely works & coupons clearly seen on phone screen don't transfer. And since that's the only way they coupon now, corporate really ruined it for this location.

Convenient when you don't feel like running to the bigger grocery stores. That said..I've encountered more expired items then I can count. After informing employee about it, not a single thing was done and those same expired items still remain on the shelf to this very day. Manager named Vicki is a nightmare. I've witnessed her foul mouth talking down to many employees in front of customers on many occasions. In particular an older woman named April who is probably 60 years old, she was in tears after Vicki screamed at her while there was a line of about 7 people waiting to cash out. This women really needs to have some patience and empathy, along with some training in the customer service department. I'll never return to this location because of her. She used to be at the middlefield location and now is at Newbury and she's awful.

For a store that's brand new and barely open for a month, I was very disappointed to walk in and the dairy coolers were down. I get in line with other items and 5 other customers and waited for a cashier to show up for minutes. I ended up walking out with two other customers without my items because no one came to the register. It was 4pm on a tuesday.

Some good prices certain things, other things not so much, the Dollar general Brand items are very disappointing! The tin foil is possibly the worst never buy it but I guess if you're ever in a pinch I need something the place is okay

It's a dollar general. I have to be desperate to shop here. This one had what I needed, but Dollar General and this type of store doesnt feel like it makes the neighborhood a better place by being here.
