My puppy loves the freeze dyed chicken or beef. I like to go to Pet Supplies to buy this product because they usually have a large assortment to choose from. The freeze dry food can be crazy expensive. And Pet Supplies will usually have a sale. I also find deals on toys for my puppy and temptation's for my cat. They had by two for 10 dollars on really cute stuffed doh toys made from plastic bottles. I chose a turtle and a dolphin. Very cute.

Excellent selection of quality pet foods and treats. They carry top quality brands that you can't always find at other stores. The staff is all friendly and helpful as well. Highly recommend this pet store if you care about your pet.

Purchased some fish for my son, we got the comet goldfish. When the lady opened the aquarium to get the fish there were several dead floating at the top along with a fish dead swirling around the inside of the tank. The water was dirty and they said they hadn't cleaned or fed the fish yet, it was 3 or 4 pm at this time. Purchased all of the equipment and cycled the water and tested all levels before introducing the fish. Not even 3 days later 3 out of the 5 are dead. According to what we read they most likely picked up an illness from swimming around dead fish all night and throughout the day we Purchased them. I do not recommend getting fish from here.

It was my first time using the bath service where you do it yourself. The girls there were so kind and took the time to show me the ropes. They also explained what a great deal it was to do the punch card rather than pay for just one. I was very impressed with their friendliness, knowledge, and the value of the service.

I have got fish from them 2 times in a row. Put them in my tank and within a few hours they all die. But the fish I got from a different pet store are still alive and well

This store offers a nice selection of products for numerous types of pets, but more importantly, the staff are hardworking, courteous, and kind. I shop here frequently, and I’ve never had anything but positive interactions.

I went to Pet Supply Plus to have my Smooth Collie groomed for the first time by them, he looks absolutely beautiful. A very nice young woman by the name of Alayna did him. Buddy came out beautiful and happy. Thanks Alayna

Horrible at caring for reptiles. They had an emaciated Uromastyx for sale and are now refusing to sell it because of complaints so they can get it ‘medical care’. It needed medical care a LONG time ago, poor thing looks barely alive. Awful, neglectful store

We always get our dog groomed here. Heather is wonderful with our somewhat nervous poodle! She knows exactly what she needs to help her relax for her groom. Penelope always looks great! Also, they have nice cookie treats that are not very expensive.

Visited for the first time with our pup today. Greeted by friendly staff along with a groomer, Heather. We were given information on grooming pricing and how to book. Prices seemed reasonable. We felt good enough with the conversation that we booked an appointment when we got home. There was a self wash station and the store was clean. Prices seem comparable to what we've seen at Petsmart but the store itself had a much friendlier atmosphere so we'll most likely be shopping here vs. Petsmart from here on.

This was my favorite store I purchased 4 ferrets here and the staff was amazing. I have always purchased my ferret food here in bulk. Went to the store yesterday and was told they will long longer be carrying bulk ferret food. The containers were empty and the employee apologized but it sucks I have to now find a new place to get ferret food. My little guys loved coming in and seeing the staff.

I bought my daughter her first fish here. Everyone was so nice and helpful. The manager went over the top to make sure we were taken care of. You don’t fine service like this anymore in a lot of stores. Thank you to everyone there who helped us.

The prices are higher than other similar types of stores. I only went there because I had a coupon for $ off of a certain amount spent. I got the coupon out of a local savings magazine that came to my house in the mail. At the register when I brought out the coupon I was told I could only use the coupon if I had an account. The cashier didn't ask if I wanted to create an account she just called someone else over to deal with it. The other person asked where I had gotten the coupon and once I told her, she did some things on the register and took the $ off for the coupon.Neither person was rude or unfriendly, but I didn't feel valued as a new customer.

This is a reasonable pet store. If you go for fish then its probably great. If you are looking for other animals they do not seem to have that big of selection. In general their overall store inventory was not as extensive as I expected. One neat feature was they had an area for people to use to come in and wash and groom their own pets. I will say that the staff here was great. I wish I remembered the gentleman's name to give him a shout out but he was wonderful working with my son who got a pet hamster.

Excellent service. Ordered a bag of hi-pro plus and it arrived on my doorstep the same day, with autoship discount. Great deals if you know where to look. Definitely important to support local businesses. Chewy used to be my go to, but they stopped offering great deals once they were bought out by Petsmart. Great deals here and you are supporting local business and not large corporations. Chewy I am done with. Petsmart Charities is still a good go to though. That is the only thing I wish they had; their own animal charity. Makes me feel good when I can donate a couple of bucks. I do think they work with local rescues like Star Cat Connection though.

I went yesterday to give my dog a bath. The young ladies working in the store were very helpful and super nice to me and my dog. They even gave him a Happy Birthday bandana since it was his fourth birthday that day.

So sweet. I believe the lady I spoke with on the phone said her name was Tara? But omg. So sweet. Had some troubles finding a replacement/duplicate squishy for my pup in store, ended up ordering online and did curbside. Apparently, unbeknownst to her, it was in backstock. I honestly thought it was gonna take a while to get it since I figured if it wasn't showing up in store maybe it'd get shipped from a warehouse or something. Nothing else was catching my baby's attention in the store, and she picked out "Mr. Octopus" on her own when I got her last year. So he was her buddy. So the lovely lady managed to find the replacement, and although possibly out of the "inconvenience" (I don't see it as an inconvenience but rather a lack of knowing everything, as no one does know everything usually nbd), she also gave her a nice little treat when we went to pick him up about 2hrs later. For fish supplies, wherever I've lived, no, I do not prefer this company, especially when I had an axolotl and fed him live fish, but I do love them for how helpful their staff always seems to be and how caring they are in answering all your questions and giving you the best answer possible. And today, in my opinion, regardless of circumstances, the staff in Newark went above and beyond in my opinion in making my fur baby happy. She was VERY pleased when I opened the pick up bag and her buddy was in there. So thank you! (If I could add a picture or knew how to I would. She was very happy to have him on the ride home.)
