This Goodwill is very well run with alot of deals. The cashier's are always friendly and willing to help you out. The managers are never to busy to help you out. The only time I won't go is after 5pm. Things turn a little less friendly.

O.k. is anyone else fed up with the prices, customer service and over all experience at Goodwill? I've donated TONS of stuff to them over my lifetime and cannot believe the prices I see when I go in their stores! Non-profit in what world? Newsflash GW you aren't supposed to compete with Walmart, Dollar General, Family Dollar, etc but you are Losing! When I can buy it new for cheaper and not deal with a clerk that can't help me but will follow me around to make sure I'm not stealing one of their donated items! And they want you to take 2 items in dressing room so you have to get redressed if you want to try on 3 or more!!!!!! I mean I understand shoplifting hurts everyone but this is ridiculous! I have found churches and other charities that give items to those in need and they will be receiving my donations from now on and I believe GW has lost my business. Not that it will hurt their higher-ups who live in literal mansions! Done! Over it! Disgusted!

This facility actually fills your 15 gallon propane tanks @ 3.49 dollars per gallon.Due to severe weather many of the local dealers were unable to sale or exchange tanks. Thank Heaven we were told about this service!

Goodwill on Mt Vernon street is a mid size store with a good deal of clothes, furniture and housewares. The clothes, there is a sizable amount of (mostly women’s clothes), but they are in generally below average shape (faded, worn) or in unappealing styles. Little for resellers, if that’s you. Also, the shopping experience is worsened because of tightly packed racks of clothes that should be separated into different categories, and aren’t.However, thrift store shopping is a roulette, and I did find a coat from UGG in good condition.Trying on the clothes is tedious as there’s only two fitting rooms, and they’re both locked, and the overworked staff will remind you it’s only try 2 items at a time.Probably the better section is the furniture section which takes up about a fourth of the store. This particular Goodwill has a large garage door that seems to make loading into your car easier.

Prices are outrageous. This is recent as the local Goodwills were not always this greedy. $2 per CD or DVD at a minimum. Old Xbox games were $8. Even toys were crazy high. Sucks for the community that relies on stores like this to save a few bucks. I do not recommend this GW location.

All the thrift stores owned by Goodwill that I've been into have had wonderful employees who are extremely helpful. The stores are hit or miss on the cleanliness with the two on Mount Vernon road in Newark and in pataskala have always been nice and clean every time I visited. The store in pataskala however has better prices than the one in Newark, they seem to be more reasonable and a little less expensive. However I enjoy being in both stores as it's always a pleasant experience every time. Plenty of parking at both locations, fitting rooms as well as handicap accessibility and parking.

Doors are locked and closed sign up at 9:28 am. Says opens at 9:00. I drove 45 minutes to get here. This is unexceptable.

Spent $70 and my daughter's kitchen is fully stocked, ready to cook. I even got a mixer with all of it as well as a 2-piece cannister set.

Shopped for the 1st time at this location on Rte 13 in Newark. Do they have a second location. Prices were ok - I’ve seen better. Found a lamp that I really liked. It has been on the shelf for about 2 1/2 months without any price reduction. Spoke with the manager who was not willing to deal with the price.

We love thrift shopping as a general rule. It allows us to "recycle" used clothes and household items while helping others in the process. The prices at Goodwill have been climbing towards retail levels and there is not much thrift left. Selling brand new items at the retail level eliminates all savings for most customers.

Very friendly. But I know it's not the employees fault that the prices are starting to increase. I get higher prices on new merchandise however, the USED items are GIVEN to them FREE. So come on now. Picture frames for 5 n 6 dollars for example

Decent location right on Mt. Vernon Rd. (Rt. 13). Easy to get in and out of the parking lot. The staff have all been friendly when I've gone in. I can find decent stuff and you can't beat the colored tag sales. The "new" merchandise and some of their colored tag furniture is a bit pricey, but overall it's a pretty decent thrift store with a pretty decent selection overall.

So I went to three Goodwills in Lincoln County today and out of all three of them all of the employees just seem to be so uptight and rude but I purchased lots of stuff and each one has been too much money but a lot of your shoes the prices on them are a little pricey at 2 of your location the other one wasn't so so bad I got new shoes for $10 opposed to 20 or 30 thank you for that plan to return but with a different attitude I think just because of the employees there heart real Pleasant

I love thrift shopping but Goodwill’s prices just keep rising and rising. Seems more than other thrift stores. Was shocked to see a chair on sale for $252. Out of curiosity looked it up, thinking it must be AT LEAST a thousand dollar chair.... it’s cheaper on Amazon. Sad.

They don't take returns, and they don't test their stock thoroughly, even if they label it as tested. Bought a broken appliance, and they refuse to refund. Shop at your own risk.

The cashiers are slow as molasses. But it's a good place to get propane.

My wife and myself visits goodwill quite often. We had heard in Mt Vernon how expensive Newark store was but we want to find out for our self. Omg I looked at a tub over flow pipe a $7---$8. Item at Lowes they wanted $52 yes $52. Asked manager about who prices these things and he pulled out a phone or tablet looked up a very high end suplier and it was a little bit higher than that. You can buy a ford in one town for a low price and buy a ford in another town with huge price difference. After contacting manager I said I could get same item much cheaper I go there manager said (ya you do that). Left the store good will needs to help all people buyers to help they get things they need resonable. And the people there supost to be helping. I will not drop merchandise there EVER AGAIN they get it free and rip people kff

Not a lot of selection on the day I was there , because they hadn't put out anything . You just have to go to see if they may have what your looking for . Their prices can be a bit high sometimes for the particular item your trying to purchase .

Non profit second hand store but most prices are higher than buying the product new. Why? Why scam the poor people like this?

Goodwill use to be an affordable place to shop for lower income families. However, they take in new merchandise and up the price, even in used items. I've been to regular stores and found brand new items for less.

Good place, but 99% of everything is overpriced. That's what you get at a For Profit organization that pretends to be non profit donation, reselling what they are given for the "needy" the only needy people they help are themselves.

Goodwill Unlimited in Heath, Ohio and the Mt. Vernon Plaza both sell Propane. They can recertify tanks as well as exchange the 20 pound tanks for $16.95 plus tax.

Something different every day. New and used items. Mostly great prices, except on new, donated furniture from area stores.

Prices have become outrageous. I spend less at Walmart than I do at Goodwill. I should not be paying close to same amount for used clothing as I do for new.

I have never felt so humiliated in my life had an employee follow me every step I took in the store and I got dirty looks all because I’m killing time so I came to Goodwill thought it would be OK but instead was followed and disrespected never coming to the store again
