I sometimes take my nephew in to shop after school. I watch him, as he usually scans his things, and we pay and leave without any problems. Recentley, he accidentally scanned his gum more than once, I tell him he scanned it twice, and a lady comes out from behind her register, and corrects me, and raises her voice that " actually, he scanned it 3 times." Oh, My bad!! She very angrily shakes her head and sighs as she takes them off. At this point, I wish I would have just grabbed two more packs of gum, as we are standing there awkwardly as she acts like we ruined her whole life over gum . So after a while, the gum was off the screen, so I told him to finish scanning, she then puts her hand up and yells at him to stop, that he cant scan until she is done. A second later, she stormed off, very irritated. If she would have treated to me like that,I wouldn't have cared, but I was extremely disgusted that a child, who made an honest mistake was treated like that. Luckily I teach him not to get mad over little things, and he just looked bewildered the whole time as she acted like an angry child because of a simple mistake.he knows better than to act like her. Now it's an inside joke, if we should go shop there. He took the incident in stride, and luckily doesnt have PTSD when we pass dollar general and is still able to chew gum without being triggered.I would just advise people not to ever scan something more than once, unless you want to feel really uncomfortable

Great customer service. The newer young blonde hair boy is very nice and funny. He was actually clocked out and in line behind me when the cc machine went down. He walked around the counter and starting helping check people out even though he was off! He’s a great addition to your team!

Only place in town to shop, or I'd have rated it 0-Stars! You have to watch all the prices very very close! Ex. I always purchased the same travel size tube of toothpaste, which has always been $1.50. They then put all the travel size tubes on a "clearance" sale, and raised the price to $1.75!!!!! Doesn't sound like a sale to me! This company is Crooks!!!!!

They will try and price hike some things...example- I use to get a regular priced item Sensodyne travel size for $1.50. They then put it on clearance for $1.75!!! How the heck does this make any sense? Watch their prices!
