Horrible the staff at this place are rude and dont care about reuniting you with your animal. My dog was stolen the guy ended up in jail then they let his girlfriend come claim my dog after telling me I couldn't get my dog. Their reason being the last person with posession says who the animal goes to. Yeah the guy in jail who stole my dog got to say who my dog goes home with. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS YOU GUYS ARE IDIOTS AND NEED SHUT DOWN!!!!!!!!!!

If I could get this place ZERO stars I would.. my brother Timothy unfortunately, brought his two German Shepard mixes (Brother and sister who have NEVER been separate) here because he couldn't keep them.. and in 3 days.. they were euthanized due to being "Unsocial." WHAT kind of a place does this?! That time isn't enough to decide because they weren't being social (more than likely, SCARED out of their minds), that they needed to be put down!!!! I COULD UNDERSTAND IF THEY WERE BEING HOSTILE BUT BECAUSE THEY'RE AFRAID??????? YOU GUYS ARE DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OTHERS BE AWARE PLEASE!!! RIP BEAR AND ZOIE ❤ 😞

Adopt! Don't shop. So many great animals here. The staff is so nice. My 12yo son and I volunteer here. They are grateful for the help. Volunteer even just to love on these animals..any little bit can make a big difference!

They killed 2 innocent pups that i surrendered i told them to work with them but they go ahead and euthanize them disgusting people i don’t recommend this place the dogs where only 3 years old and i didn’t appreciate the way they answered the phone

I recently saw a dog that I knew from a previous owner here. When I contacted them about this dog the staff was very informative and walked me through the steps needed for me to come adopt him. I'm very grateful for how kind they were to me and my new dog.

I am not happy with the response I got on aug 7th. When I called the dog warden on behalf of my cat getting mulled by my neighbors dog. I am very upset that they and the police told me that there was nothing that they could do about it.When I was told of the incident by the mail lady who witnessed it all.The dog was comming for her until he saw my cat . And even though my cats an indoor/outdoor cat . This should have never happened. This should have been investigated and eveytime were outside or my grandson and his dog are outside . I'm fearful this dog may get out or away from his owner again and hurt my grandson. I'm not giving more than 1 star . If I could give a o star I would . But this dog and owner need investigated. Does the dog have tags and his shots. And I want to know where my cat is. The dog owner put her in his car and drove away with her. She had 5/6 1Month old babies to take care of. And I called for assistance to go get the kittens and I was told I'd have to get permission from the owners to go get them. Or I could be arrested for trespassing. And today I found out who the owners are and have messaged them about it and now doing a review on you. And I will be finding out what else can be done about what happens. And what my rights are for cruelty to my cat because she was taken away and dumped somewhere and not taken to a veterinarian. The police also should have responded to me aswell. I asked them to send an officer to go over with me to confront the man and get mommas babies . But I was told they won't do that. I will get to the bottom of this . Trust me .

We adopted a pup from here and it was a great experience. The staff were responsive and you could tell they cared about their animals. The facility was clean and overall pleasant to visit. Smooth adoption process and reasonable donation prices

A stray cat that we feed by my warehouse was attacked buy a dog this little animal was doing nothing but eating to had not antagonized or had did nothing to this dog that lives in a small apartment with its master we've had different issues with this animal running loose and it said something to the owner this attack was so brutal that the mail carrier that was there and witnessed it called it into the dog pound Warden the dog started to go after the mail carrier in diverted to the cat the mail carrier lady empty the whole can of dog repellent on this animal and it would not stop the attack the owner took his sweet time coming over there more concerned about his bag of whatever was in it when I called the dog warden the dog warden she had no sympathy for this little animal that had done nothing all she can do is tell me it was not dangerous after it had just got done killing a little cat when it started to attack the mail carrier first absolutely no sympathy for the animal at all she said it didn't matter because it was a stray cat and if you want to say you didn't say this you arrogant little princess I'll take a lie detector test how about you I tried reasoning with her the minute I said lady which is a form of respect she absolutely went ballistic I'm putting it on the record my friend took an animal out there that was not even his and she tried to to talk down to him I thought he was lying about the way she was he was absolutely telling the truth and the other gentleman that gave her one star was telling the truth I checked with other people that are animal experts keeping two vicious animals in a small apartment is a recipe for attacking an animal or children but she continues to say this animal is not a threat when does animal hurt somebody I'm going to make sure you face charges this little animal got no justice if it was so right why did the man not throw the animal in the dumpster right there but took the animal somewhere else so there was no evidence

$500 for a chihuahua because it's a baby, very pretty, and I'm sure very wanted. I know they have expenses because of vet bills but do you want to adopt it out or are you selling like them for profit? Many other non-profit shelters adopt theirs out for $40 and have some days they let you name your price. I was disappointed. I don't care about their excuses either. $500!!!!! Unacceptable.

My dog ran away and someone found him and called the dog pound. Beth at Tuscarawas county dog pound was very mean and was not understanding about my financial issues due to covid. She told me I was abandoning my dog after I informed her that I didn't even have enough money to put into my car to come get him. Beth was truly heartless and only made things worse.

Called about a stray Pitbull running around my apartment complex. Wanted dog picked up and found it's home. Called dog warden explained about stray dog and I was disabled and not able to move fast enough if dog came towards me... First encountered dog many miles down the street was running around in the middle of the street and almost hit him.. by the time I got home 3 minutes later Dog was running around my apartment complex.. we are a no dog complex we are only cats didn't want dog or cats hurt in case came in contact with each other.

Called the dog warden because there were 2 dogs loose in our yard that had torn a fence and killed one of our animals, they came out, took pictures and a claim, and called the next day to tell us they found the dogs and cited their owner.

I've been trying to call for over an hour. The people next door leave their dog outside ALL DAY literally hours and the poor thing just barks and barks and barks and I feel bad for him. This is on N Dawson street in urichsville
