Today was my first day going there and this was the worst pet place I have ever gone to! The snakes do NOT have the correct humidity and they’re in so much stress and their fish look so sick! In almost every fish tank there was more than one dead fish! They also had chicks in there and their food and water was filled with bedding for who knows how long and they were over heating. Something needs to be done for those animals! The lady who got the fish for me she was sweet but she even told me to bring it back if it dies and they would give me a new one but I won’t ever be going back.

Ordered 3 items for pick-up at the store. Even though it said the items were in stock 2 out of the 3 weren't. I get it, sometimes the system isn't foolproof.You can message me to let me know though. My issue is that the refund for the items I didn't get take 3-5 business days to get refunded to my card. Therefore I traveled to the store... Only to find out they didn't have the items.... Where as they could have messaged me... Simple enough...The hold on my money for that issue is ridiculous and in my mind, unacceptable.

Visited this store on 11/29 to purchase a female piebald. Had to ask multiple times for an associate to unlock the enclosure to be able to look her over. Card machine was down so we had to leave to get cash to finish our transaction. We were then told we would receive paperwork on her with hatch date and vet information, and didn’t realize until we left that it was never given to us. I have called multiple times to get her hatch date as well as any vet information they may have and left my phone number with a promise of a return call, and have yet to get any of this information!!!

The only reason I’m giving a 4 star is because of the employee Chloe. My boyfriend, our friend and I went in last night around 6:45, but we were unaware they closed at 7 because we thought they closed at 8, our mistake. Anyways, we grabbed what we needed quickly and went to the check out. We stood in line for probably 10 minutes because of the couple at the register, they were asking questions and that is totally fine. As we got to the register the man was very rude, and told the employee Chloe that she can handle it because “ if he does people are going to be mad “ the preceded to walk away. Chloe kept apologizing and telling us she had no idea what the reason for his actions were, and she asked us to just ignore him. He then walked back and threw his keys under the register, and stood behind her while we talked giving us the craziest look. As soon as we were done talking to the employee Chloe we were leaving and he was looking at his phone yelling “ what is the point “ he then followed behind us and shut the doors very aggressively.If it wasn’t for the wonderful employee they have, Chloe they wouldn’t have got my service again. I understand it was almost closing time. I work a closing shift with the public as well and I know how annoying it is, but that was only the second time we have been there and didn’t look up the hours, our mistake but I do believe it could have been handled better. With staff like that, they won’t keep business but a PAT ON THE BACK for poor Chloe having a great attitude, and being so sweet to us.

Took my Rottweiler Zeus in for a grooming and I couldn't be pleased more. Staff was very nice and friendly, they did a great job. Even with a 100 pound rottweiler they were quick and got him cleaned up. Definitely going back with him again.

The reptiles especially the Ball Pythons are being kept in very poor conditions. Their temps and humidity are not being monitored properly, the are being cohabitated when they are not supposed to be, and they have very very little in their tanks as it seems like they are more for display rather than comfort. Several of the snakes have stuck sheds due to poor humidity and the lack of things to rub on. When me and my wife went to an employee about this she informed us that their "Aquatics expert" is who is in charge of the snakes. So, there is a good chance that none of the workers properly know how to take care of them, which is more the companies fault than anything. Their tanks are also not clean and overall I just worry about the health of the snakes and other animals in the store if they are kept in these conditions.

I was in there on Monday 9/18/23, around 11am. The young lady that assisted us was absolutely amazing! She spoke with my son about his new kitten, she talked to him about how to take care of him in a way a 7 yr old could understand. And she didn't force things on us we didn't need! Then when she was checking us out, an older gentlemen came in with a dog to shop and she knew the dog's name and all about the dog! This speaks volumes that it's more than just an employee but an employee who cares about her customers! I will be back just for this young lady! I wish I would of got her name!

My first and last visit. Waited for check out over 10 minutes, then the girl was very rude while ringing us. To top it off they wanted to charge for a bag to put my over 28 dollar purchase in. No way was I going to pay for a bag , I needed my purchase or I would of left it with them and left. I am so very sad that this is the way they do business. I was soo excited to hear of them coming to town for we have several pets and they are very spoiled. Good Luck with your customers!

DO NOT BUY REPTILES HERE!!! They are way overpriced and the workers and MOST managers are inconsiderate of the customers. Only one manager took time out to try and help us and her supervisor told her if she continues to help us she would be fired. As for the reptile thing.. My wife and I special ordered a ball python from here after purchasing one from them on the grand opening. We were told it was going to be $300. And when it came in we weren't even notified. And they had it there for $700. Again we were quoted at $300 but whenever our special order arrived to the store it was $700. Mind you that this is only a $300 snake. Everyone has been extremely rude and unprofessional to my wife and I. Do better! it's sickening how they treat their customers.

Place is a joke, you have a python in there so dehydrated that it's sucked in with stuck shed and yes I'll be editing this once I get pictures of it.You have people that have no idea what they are talking about. Get some real animal lovers in here for God sakes.

Didnt have any bills to make my change. Wanted to give me in coins. I said no. Waited for her to get a manager to get change. Its all in the training. It happens everywhere now!

Everyone is friendly. The grooming department is patient with my boy's nails. He is normally terrified, but the grooming girls at this Petco worked with him and got the job done!

No staffing. Seen 1 person on floor nobody at register. Seriously my wife and I only seen one person on the floor and we were in the store for over 20 mins. Left our cart full at register along with others.

Only been in there a couple of times, and the wait in line is always crazy - no one seems to be on the floor. I also heard a staff member give improper medical advice that could get animals killed!

Poor selection of cat food compared to the dog food. Just under 2 aisles of cat food vs 6 aisles worth of dog food. If you need cat food go to Rural King. Way better selection.
