Been coming here since I moved here back in late 2022 and never had a bad interaction here. They always have what I'm coming for so I've never had to substitute anything. My only complaint is on behalf of the employees. Yall need to take it easy on them if they are short staffed. I seen a sign one day saying they had to close earlier because they had been sent 2 trucks of deliveries with little to no help because of them being short staffed. I'm not sure as to why they are short staffed as I've not worked there before but corporate or who ever runs this establishment needs to take it easy on this store

I’m always stopping in here and it’s always a pleasant experience. All the employees I’ve dealt with have always been so helpful and courteous despite often been very busy! This location is always well stocked ( not including pop/occasionally cat food) and is always tidy.I took a star off because I’m still disappointed they decided to take away their large clothes section , this was my grandma’s favorite place to get clothes. Now it’s just folded sweats. Also I’m not impressed with the new Reno/layout of the store , I think the previous model was better.Either way the employees are great here and you’ll find what you need!

May 6,2023 4:59PM —Never felt more uncomfortable in this store before. I usually never leave reviews nor do i ever feel discriminated against. Not that anything will be done because of this review. I just want to point out that whoever is the cashier in there today was a Caucasian woman probably 40-50s with brownish/ red hair was super nice laughing high energy to the customer before me then when i get to the register it was a COMPLETE energy change! She was completely quiet and cold and only spoke when i spoke to her…. I causally walk up with my few items say Hi, how are you doing today as I usually do anywhere I go. She’s short, and monotone and quick to get me out… Meanwhile back to being very nice and bubbly to customers after me…The energy from her was very unwelcoming and not sure what I did to offend her just by walking up….If i had known this would be my experience I would have skipped the whole interaction and went to self check out. Sucks this is the only DG in the area I can take a lunch break at and make a quick stop in… Been here few times during the week never had this kind of experience everyone is usually very nice…Wish I paid attention to what her name was to mention in the review…

Small town appeal, friendly staff, and located in an accessible lot off of route 35 almost adjacent from the closed DQ. You'll find the usual necessities for cooking, snacking, drinks, and even a limited fruit and vegetable area! There's the usual cool toys for the kids and grandkids. There are auto and general mechanical items you can get here. It's still the most diverse general store around!

Before the remodel this place deserved 10 stars. The cleanest most friendly DG I've ever set foot in. It had kind of a neighborly feel to it. We loved going in there. Since Paula left, it has gone downhill. The floors are filthy and some of the employees look at you like you're a bother.The parking lot is really gross now too. It's just super sad because it was a special little store.😔 Update: They cleaned the floors so it looks much better. Thank you.

It's typically rather dirty in here, the associates aren't very kind, and I've had bad experiences. Especially today with security. Another customer walked up DURING my transaction and stood about 6 inches from me while I had my wallet open and my cards out. The manager walked in and said nothing, the associate said nothing. I called, and the manager told me that I should use my free speech. If I don't feel safe and secure in the store, I don't plan to shop there.

Hi, my extended family and i are in this store once or twice aday 7 days aweek! Good people, good service,always helpful, clean organized store! We always use this store , if we go on a outing or family function everyone says wait we got to go to DG ! Thanks for a great store it really means alot !

I was sooooo IMPRESSED! This center is by far one of the two most well-stocked, clean, neat, organized units I have set foot in! Well Done!!! Even the clearance section was sectioned off by department and all stickered! No buggies full of dusty merchandise blocking isles either! You folks really rock it out! The assistant manager who processed my order was efficient and made some small talk with me which was definitely a bonus. I looked for your name on my receipt, but it was not there. Note: put the name there or at least a direction as to what # is the employee code so we can call employees out by name for a job well done> I live within one mile from another center, but travel the 6 miles away because the center next to me is the exact opposite of what you are. Your kiind employees, enjoyable fellow shoppers, and an overall enjoyable experience is worth the drive! Thank You for making my first day off in 11 days such an enjoyable one!

Greatly improved in recent years. Sometimes there's a little too much stock in a small place. But there are items (private brand mouthwash for instance) that can't be beat for price anywhere.

Worst dollar General from Eaton to dayton. I stop at this location solely based on conveinence because its on my way home from work. I stopped in to get ballons for a co worker to be told by the manager they dont sell ballons anymore helium crisis blah blah trash rant she went on and was very unprofessional. The issue I have is ok theres been a helium crisis of some sort for years..she just didnt want to blow ballons up. I actually just went in the dollar store in eaton and got birthday ballons. So much for conveinance at this location. Theres always boxes in the way and the shelves dont look nice.

I am happy with the New Lebanon Dollar General. Everyone is friendly and I can generally find whatever I am looking for. It's also a clean store which is very important to me.

The lower than normal intelligence cashiers do not know how to stay at the register and mislead customers into going to other registers that are not open, so nine people can build up in line and it will take a half hour to get through the line which nobody needs, avoid this location likes black plague, you'll be happy you did.
