Check the dates on anything you buy here. I personally would only purchase items that are completely sealed due to the amount of cockroaches in that place. They have been found in the fountain sodas the cappuccino machine, in the coffee and in the condiment bar in the kitchen. Just to name a few places.

I love love love it out here best RV camping spot in Ohio and only 1 min from the beach plus the frostiest store a hope skip and jump away. The owner and the workers make you fill like your a home away from home and will always put a smile on your face.... Plus it has some of the best subs, ice cream and pizza ..... A must go.......😍....kind of place.

Great spot for some ice cream while visiting Deer Creek. They have an impressive selection of fishing gear! Staff are super helpful and friendly. Prices are great, they also have a fresh food restaurant/take out that had a good selection and seemed to be a pretty popular place! So glad we came by, great way to beat the heat while camping. They have plenty of parking and do have gas available for both cars and boats.

Always have the bait and tackle it need. Also, a good selection of hunting gear. Awesome deli and hand-dipped ice cream. Plenty of food selections and camping gear. My go to place. Boon has been there for a long time and they all can give you the latest news on Deer Creek Lake.

Frosties has been here for as long as I can remember. It is the only store around Deer Creek State Park unless you drive into Mt.Sterling.Frosties has the basics and much more. It's probably been there for a while but they have a gas station now. The staff are always nice and helpful if you have any questions about the area.

They have a bunch of different stuff there. If your going camping at Deer Creek State Park this was the closest store. It has a belly put in gas station at least from 2 or 3 years ago. If you're a hunter they have some hunting things, if you fish they have a bunch of different bait and lures and lines and jf you RV or camp they stuff if you need to do a quick repair or you forgot something. It also sells drinks and things and the staff is real nice.

The store is much larger inside than it looks outside. It's very well lit neat and clean. The customer service was awesome. It is the closest store To Deer Creek beach.

Really nice place, wide variety of choices for whatever your preference may be. Only drawback was this place did not have any bug spray...that kinda sucked, but is still a rather welcoming place for your hunting, fishing, hiking or camping needs. The best part is they have ice cream....chocolate peanut butter is the best!

Stopped in here last Sunday after hanging out at Deer Creek for the day. We needed a drink and an ice cream. The ice cream was great and their food menu sounded really good too. All of the employees here were really friendly and went out of their way to take trash off of your table and chat with you. Will definitely be back.

The owner Boone has a personality like a door knob. He is very dry. He just cares about money. They charge a percentage fee on credit cards for any and every amount. I bought my whole family fishing rods, bait, lunch, etc and they didn’t bother to tell me Vs just saying it’s on the door. What a way to sock it to customers. I get it they owe money on credit cards but credit cards are suppose to be used as a connivence for customers to not have to carry a lot of cash verses business pass that fee onto customers. Shady and dirty.

Limited indoor, plenty of outdoor seating. This convenience store carries it all from the to top of your head to your bottom. Combs to butt paper. Ice, beer, wine, moonshine and liquor. Sign offering grilled foods, cold subs, deli sides, ice cream cones and drinks. Camping supplies, hunting, shooting, fishing supplies from artificial baits to live baits, both the wiggling kind and the swimming kind. Stop in and say hello. Tell them First Capital Digger sent you. Keep Swinging.

I lived in the area for a couple years before actually stopping in. They have a nice little selection of food items for campers, as well as a full selection of beers. When I stopped in for a burger it was re-warmed and not fresh cooked. it wasn't bad, but it seemed like a place that would make a fresh burger for you. They have a wide selection of ice cream, but I haven't tried any. In addition to all that, yes, you can also get bait and hunting/fishing gear.

Has an amazing and friendly staff! Their food is delicious. My husband drove 5.5 hours for work and needed something to eat. They were about to close but they still hooked him up with delicious food and drink.

Nice enough for what it is, but I think when you boast about having so many flavors of hand dipped icecream you should at least let folks have a teeny simple of the more unique flavors, or at least a one or two...seems sort cheap and un customer friendly.

Ice cream paradise. They also have a huge assortment of bait and tackle if the only line of credit you can get is to put on your bear arms and go down to the riverbank to cast a line that way. Now if they only had bear claws...
