This is a nice Kroger, not a Market place but nice. It is super busy here at 1pm Friday. There are 2 cart self checkout and then a dozen or so regular self checkout. It is super compact and not much maneuvering space compared to the bigger stores. Guess they want to pack as much product as possible.

If I could give this store a zero I would after my experience yesterday at the self checkout. Checking out with only two items that were scanned the machine starts to beep. I was approached by the attendant in the most rude and condescending manner. Instead of offering courteous assistance he proceeded to insult me. I spoke to a manager about it. I will not shop at this store again. I will be sure to let others know how they operate. This person proceeded to stare me down as I left the store. Why he is in a customer facing role I have no idea.I returned the items I purchased there. After further reflection, I did not want them anymore. The Mason Montgomery store tried to remedy the situation and apologized. They offered me a gift card which I politely declined because this isn’t about being compensated. Brook was very courteous and professional. This did not happen at Landen. If at some point I decide to return to Kroger I will shop there. For now after 35 years of loyalty to Kroger I’m taking my business to Meijer where I am always treated well. Customers beware of this location and how they treat customers.

Tucked in the back of the plaza next the Y, I had never been to this location, but i was pleasantly surprised during my visit tonight. The store was clean and bright, with beautiful displays throughout. I was especially impressed with my cashier, Brendan. He was goofing off with a friend, but when it came time to help me, he took it seriously. Him and the bagger (whose name I did not get) were genuinely friendly. Major props to them!

I get micromanaged by my boss enough. I don’t need the self-checkout attendant breathing down my neck while I’m trying to ring my groceries. If you’re worried about stealing then either she can ring me out, or get rid of the self-checkout all together. Making your customers uncomfortable is poor business.

Every time I go I have to self checkout and I had a lot of groceries. And then they help all other customers but me. If I wanted to check myself out I’d work at Kroger. Keep forgetting why I stopped going to Kroger anymore

I bought meat from kroger few weeks ago.Soon as I opened a package for preparing dinner, I smelled ratten meat right away.I went back to kroger and they give me a refund but it was huge disappointment. Their meat isn't fresh at all. Not only this time.It had been like this. I threw away my meat few times.They need to check the meat department more often.

This Kroger is fine, but compared to other stores the layout is confusing and congested, even after a recent remodel.My main issue with this Kroger is the reliance on self checkouts. While the store has multiple non self checkout lanes, they are rarely staffed and are always busy. This leads to long lines of people waiting to pay for their groceries, in any lane.It seems the reason this emphasis on customers using the self checkouts is none other than corporate greed. Less workers manning the actual lanes means the store pays less employees. Kroger wants the customer to provide them free labor under the guise of a “quick checkout” when it’s really the only option most of the time. If there were more employees working the actual lanes, there would be much less traffic.Another issue is the self checkout machines themselves could induce rage in even the most reserved customer. The machines are plagued with errors, slow load times, and glitches. Not to mention the machines always seem to think you are stealing from them, holding the process up even more.Overall, every time I walk in this store, it’s a cold slap in the face. It reminds me that Kroger does not care about the consumer, only their money. Kroger would rather redesign a store and exploit free labor from people who already have jobs than actually schedule/hire enough employees to cover the existing registers.

I avoid visiting this Kroger at all costs. The deli counter is run poorly. I have never seen anyone move so slowly.

This Kroger is just the antithesis of what anyone could want in a grocery store. It's like no employees on duty for checkout or meat counters, poor selection, just pretty poor.Expect to not find what you're looking for and wait 5-10 minutes to self checkout.

6 19 18....second day in a row, the salad bar is not ready for customers to get a salad for dinner. This is not rocket science....fill the salad bar!618 18...Salad bar is not ready for patrons to prepare quick salad for dinner at 4:50 PM. Had to ask and wait, but the associate was nice and apologized.

The new conveyor belt self checkout system is absolutely ridiculous. You took out two regular checkout lanes with cashier and bagger and replaced it with two so I'll check out conveyor belts. Now the option is to check out $400 worth of groceries which takes 30 minutes on the damn conveyor belt or you can wait in line back to the meat department because we don't have enough regular check out systems left. All this while Kroger profits are better than they've ever been. Come on Kroger do better. Hire some humans pay them what they deserve. If I wanted to check out like this I'd go to Meijer and maybe I should at least their prices are cheaper

I shop at Landen Kroger approx 3 to 4 times per week. Recently i have notices serve has changed. Today i was at seafood count around 12:30 and waited almost 15 minutes and no one was around. I went to dailry section and beauty supplies and came back still no one around. I finally asked a young guy if he could help me find someone He came back and indicated everyone was in a mgr meeting and i would most limely have to wait til it was over. I finally jus left the store.I came back at approx 4:25 and found a note on top of the seafood counter indication " back in 15 minutes". Yhere was no time reference to know when the person would returnI cant understand how the GM would pull all sercice associates away from their positions for over 20 minutes or mor and then allow a sign to be placed for additional time away.I have been on the service industry all my life and this was pretty ridiculous. There are 8 other grocery stores within. 4 mile radius of my house in Landen and dont understand why the management at Kroger doesnt understand their competition. It is really sad to see the lack of customer service at a store i have shopped at for several years

I had a completely unacceptable experience in the pharmacy on Saturday, April 16.They told me they had requested a refill from my Dr, but didn't apparently. I was annoyed but nothing could be done. It was Saturday and I had to wait for Monday even though I was now out of my medication. The person on the phone was so rude, however, that I asked to speak to the pharmacy manager. Beth, pharmacist, got on the line and kept talking over me while I was explaining what had happened. I asked her to let me speak and that upset her to the point that she ended up hanging up on me! I work in medicine and I manage a medical office. That was so unbelievably unprofessional!! No wonder the employees are rude if the manager handles issues that way!! I'll go elsewhere for my RX.

Love it here all the employees are always making sure you can find everything, and the manager is super sweet. They all actually take the time to talk to you and make sure you happy while you are there. Also the little clinic in there is amazing! Super sweet and caring nurses and dr.s. The last time I went the nurse called the next day to see how I was feeling.

The professionalism of the staff was absolutely fantastic. From start to finish they were fast, efficient and most of all they really cared about the well-being of my wife. I was allowed to be with her throughout the entire process (except for the operation of course). And their communication was way above average. We were very happy with the whole experience

I'll be surprised if they don't remodel this store in the next year or two.The store seemed mid-high traffic when I was there, and they have some of the 'new' departments, like the sushi prep station, but just smaller. And in the case of that, it was just kind of set up in the middle of everything.But there were enough registers open, and the clerks were friendly enough, unlike other Kroger markets I've visited.All in all I'd go into the store again, but I prefer the 'newer, shinier' Kroger closer to my house.

Curbside pick up orders are never right. Half the order is always missing when you get home then have to go back out and get the rest of it because they charged you for it anyways. Freezer items brought to the car will be thawed (gallon tub of ice cream for a birthday was completely melted)Customers shouldn’t have to make three trips to the store for one order because they get there and are told it will be another hour and to come back. Or to pick up the rest of the order you paid for, or have their produce rotting already when it’s picked out.

Worst Customer Service. I went into the store to return some items I didn’t need & I had my receipt. The older lady with grey hair telling me I can’t return anything there even though the items was bought 2 days ago & I had the receipt and the card I used to buy the items. . I have never had this problem at any Kroger .

I went to Kroger to purchase a couple of items. I normally don't go during the week. I don't normally go to this one. The couple of items turned into more items. They had only one lane open at the checkout. The cashier wasn't that friendly at all. So that's why I give them 4 stars.

Kroger bakery. Put in 2 cupcake cake orders 2 days prior to pick up. Still were not done when I arrived party day. I was told by the decorator that he still had 30 mins. As he just had started the icing decorating . Stood there for 30 min with him asking how I wanted this and that after I had gave instructions to them 2 days ago with pictures in color. Fast forward to party and my guest are finding hair in the cups cakes and icing. More than one person and more than one cupcake and two separate cakes. I called the manager and was told that if I cant bring the cakes in to show proof then they cant do anything. I threw them away and wasted money is pretty much what happen. Keep your money and go else where unless you want hair and have to wait for your cakes to get done up in arrival.

It was amazing! We got this metal box on wheels,that kroger supplied for free!!, filled it up with food, then for a small portion of my weekly check we walked right out the door with it! I'm never hunting down the neighborhood dogs and cats for dinner again. If only I had known of this place sooner...

This is my favorite location but lately the bakery has really been slacking.. For the second time when I go to pick up an order no one is there to help. Like what are they doing after standing and looking dumb there was someone in front of me and he needed help. So the employee helped him but he was taking so long I had to be at work.I had a pick up order I couldn't wait any longer so I just picked up the cupcakes that were already ready. This is ridiculous either they need more staff because I am sick of waiting and waiting for help.

Our favorite Kroger in the area. Super friendly workers. The one item keeping it from a 5 star rating is the location of the clicklist pickup parking spots. They are the closest to the doors and take up some of the best spots that could be used by guests shopping in the store.

I truly want to give this a 5 star review. This Kroger is located just right off the main road and it's super easy to get to. It's smaller in comparison to other Krogers, making it easier to locate what you're looking for. However, the only thing that I personally dislike about this, and any Kroger for that matter, is the self checkout. Checking out is not as quick as Wal Mart and Meijer. It waits for the item to be bagged before you can continue scanning. Then it lags, stops you from scanning anything if it even detects a slight change in weight on the scale. Way too sensitive and keeps me from checking out quickly. Other than that, I really like this Kroger. The staff is friendly; the store is clean and organized.

15 items or less, nope. 1 lane open and there is a lady with a large cart filled over the top. I don't like using self check out but I did not want to wait behind the lady with a full cart.

I shop this store daily. There is never a time that I have gone in this store and there are multiple out of stock situations. Today was no exception. Out of ground italian sausage, ground pork. Both were on sale. Out of Kroger brand cereals.If I mention it to any clerks, they have a standard answer of the truck comes tonight. That is on any given day. No back stock in the store. Nothing. No Kroger brand gallon tea two days ago. Truck comes tonight. The only exception to this standard answer is the meat department.I hope someone can do something to remedy this.
