Great store with friendly staff! Our family took the 6 mile canoe trip and it was a blast! I'd recommend checking it out to anyone in the hocking area. The trip took just under 4 hours to complete with several stops to swim. Well worth the money!

My husband, Sister in Law, and I had such a relaxing and peaceful time on the river. We were the only three launching and felt like we had everything to ourselves. Staff was friendly and personable. We appreciated their help and recommendations. Bring snacks, water, and sunscreen! Rope if you want your tunes attached!

We did the 3 mile float with tubes and a canoe, and we had a blast! I have to say the staff is absolutely amazing! We went with my 70-year-old mom (who handled it like a champ!), and the staff was great with helping her in and out of the canoe. At the end, even had her picked up and driven up the hill so she didn't have to walk up it. Great staff!

Had a 2hr Slingshot rental that I suprised my husband with for his birthday. He absolutely had a blast and told me it was the best present ever. The booking process, check-in and rental return were easy. Rental fees were reasonable. They let us pick the one we wanted when we got there. We even had a kayak trip booked with them and were relieved they gave us a full refund for it because it was just too cold. We are planning to rent from them again on our next trip.

The tubing was fun water was going fast so didn't take long maybe an hour at most also highly recommend getting paddles for the tube you will need it. Now if you are staying at the campground that's another story. NO ONE INFORCES THE QUIET TIME! YOU ARE NEXT TO A BUSY ROAD WHERE THE LOCALS BLAIR THERE HORNS WHEN THEY PASS. NOT kid friendly at all had to hear people puking kids screaming music blaring until 3am and then at 6am THE CONSTRUCTION across the street happened ON A SATURDAY! The camp sites are so close you can touch the next person's tent and are very uneven. The shower house only has cold water and the porta potties looked like they were never cleaned. If you go to just rent the kayaks or canoes or tubes it's great BUT DO NOT STAY THERE! Oh and there is a spot that looks like it's sewage going into the water and smells like it also.

Great, professional company. Had an awesome experience on their 6 miler with a kayak transport. It was not busy at all on a Sunday which added to the experience. The river was high so it took us about 2.5 hours. Pretty views, winding river that goes under several bridges. Not a hard kayak what so ever. They give you bracelets to mark how many miles you go. They will take you to the beginning and you will end at the kayak place. Bring a cooler!

Great place! Took the 6 mile tour today. Wr brought our own Kayaks, so they just had to get us up river. They were all very helpful and informative. Hock8ng River was beautiful!

The staff was friendly, and the cabin I rented from them was amazing. The selection in the store was awesome with plenty to offer. It's definitely a good spot to stop for cabin necessities!

We went on the 6 mile kayaking tour and had a great time. Lots to see, especially the wildlife. Nice easy river that was not hard to navigate. Ended back where we started which was great.

I would absolutely do this again, we had such a good time. Our tour guide was very patient, knowledgeable and explained things in detail so we knew what to expect. It definitely got your adrenaline up, this will be a memorable day for a lifetime. I definitely recommend doing this it's worth every bit of the money.

This is an amazing business that sells canoes, kayaks, fishing gear and even has a small restaurant. They even offers canoe and rafting trips and also guided ATV trips. Heck, they even sell beer. You could live at this place. Check it out.

We had an amazing time, we went for the 3mile tubing. The tubes are great quality and comfy, the bus driver was very friendly and made sure he answered all questions and/or concerns. We would definitely do this again.Editing to add, went again today with my son

We rented the Slingshot vehicle and it was an amazing experience. The vehicle was in excellent shape and clean. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Overall great experience and will return!

We went on the 2 hour ATV excursion through the forest. Everything was amazing! From our Guide Lee, to the trails, the mud and the forest. We had such a great time we can't wait to do it again. Thank you for this fun opportunity and being able to see the forest at the end of fall and all it has to offer.

Fantastic half day course with Lee and Alex. We had a lot of fun. The guides judged our skill and experience, starting gently and increasing the challenge along the course with lots of good advice and feedback. I am looking forward to booking a full day course next spring.

My wife and I had such a great time with the UTV. Our guides were great. The scenery and driving through the wilderness was super fun and can’t say enough good things. We can’t wait to do it again!

It was a lot of fun! We went with a group of 18 people (bringing 11 of our own kayaks) and there were zero issues! They did a great job. The river run ends right into their location as well which is super convenient

We showed up to check in for our camping weekend on Friday around 7:20, Hailey at the front desk was so nice and refreshing after a terrible trip. We show up to pick out our campsite ( we were THE ONLY people camping at the entire ground that weekend ) We were with our 2 year old and super excited as it was his first time. When we showed up, there were either homeless people / sketchy looking people hanging out in the area. They left for a little when we pulled in but came back hanging around the shower/bathroom area. With being so close to the street and being the only people there, we felt really unsafe. Especially with our 2 year old and being the only people. We called to make Hailey aware, she said that she was reaching out to her supervisor. We said alright and started to drive back to adventure pros as it was getting ready to close. We pulled in at 7:50 to the doors already locked, so I called again to ask if she had heard back because we again felt unsafe and traveled far so we needed to decide what to do. She stated that she had not heard back and we should probably get a hotel, then stated her supervisor should get back to us the following day and could give us a refund. We ended up driving to Athens and getting a hotel room, still had no heard anything the following day until I called at 1 o’clock. I called and they said that they are sorry but they never had any issues prior and would not be able to give us a re-fund. RIDICULOUS. They said a credit but we will not be coming back this was and are not from here. Nor after how the supervisor Sarah handled it, would I want to give them business. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL - I had a child with me and it was super unsafe. We have been camping for years and never had felt unsafe. Will not be returning and disputing the charge on the card.

Myself and the five others in my group were anticipating a fun and relaxing journey down the river but didn’t quite get that experience. We chose to do the 3-mile tube trip. The process was easy with checking in, staff was very friendly and apologetic, but the wait time to get shuttled down to the river wasn’t the best. We booked for 11:30, and probably didn’t get into the water until 12:30 due to way too many groups being booked/checking-in at the same time. We were told the water was no more than 2 ft deep… it was definitely around 4/5 ft in some spots. We found this out when multiple members fell out of their tubes due to getting stuck in dangling tree branches, and on large rocks/logs. The only warning we received from staff, was that there were rapids right after you get in. What we weren’t prepared for, were the heavy amount of large rocks/logs that you can get stuck on. We busted one of our tubes on one of the large rocks and called the rescue team - they said they couldn’t help us. THANKFULLY we had a cooler float that someone could climb in since we were still over a mile out from the end. I’m not someone that bashes companies, especially family owned ones, but I really wish changes were made. The large logs/rocks need to be removed from the water to avoid mishaps like ours. Also, when booking there should be a limit on how many people can book a selected time to avoid overcrowding/long wait delays especially on weekends.

The staff was very professional, the 3 mile tube trip was amazingly beautiful and peaceful. The reason for a 3 star review is no changing area. When it was Murphys landing they had a changing area. Adventure pro its not hard to set up a decent changing tent by the back fence in the grass. A 10x10 pop up tent and some tarps and some chairs.

Did the 3-mile tube float as part of our trip to Hocking Hills. From registering, checking in and drop off it was an excellent experience. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. We had an issue with one of our tubes and the staff fetched a new tube without even asking. Otherwise the tubes were in great shape. I drop one star as the actual river itself was a little disappointing. If you are expecting to be lost in nature this will let you down. This is a suburban river float. The view is pretty well hidden from industry, but there is lots of ambient vehicle noise along the way, saw at least 3 partially submerged shopping carts, a good bit of litter on the sandbars and there is a sewage discharge near the end. Overall the family had a great experience especially with the staff, but we had false expectations of more of an isolated nature experience. But if you are looking for an easy float for a few hours and toss back a few cold ones along the way this is a great trip. Bring your own rope to tie in your tubes, cooler with drinks and snacks and a speaker for some tunes to set your own mood.

The staff are very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Our bus driver Dee was hilarious! She made everyone laugh! Thanks for a fun and eventful trip from start to finish. The store/deli was a nice surprise especially when you’re hungry from being on the river. Note: Bring your own rope if you want to tie a cooler float to your tube.

We rented a sling shot for our 7 year anniversary it was so so much fun!! The girl who helped us was so nice and she gave us recommendations for hikes and told us about the places around town. We love out experience and we will do it again!

Seemed like a great place, except reservation times weren’t honored. What bothered me more was they put a whole bus load of us, some with small children, out minutes before a thunderstorm rolled in, including lightning. With not a second thought. That doesn’t sound like good business practice to me!
