I was in the Cleveland / Akron area for work. I happened to do a quick google search on retro game stores in the area and Duck Duck Games came up. Definitely the best decision I made! This place is so clean, organized, staged perfectly for what you are looking for, and to top it off the owner Ethan is super welcoming and very knowledgeable. I went in looking for a couple of items and I walked out with a Analog Pocket which I LOVE! The prices in the store are awesome. Definitely ordering some items Online to have shipped to my home just because I see the attention to detail that they put into the stuff they sell. Best experience I have had up to date in any game store. You guys rock, thank you!

Love places like this. Very helpful and polite staff. I would love to see a game station section to get a quick classic session in while browsing. They have a decent selection and all their items are very clean / neatly displayed. I will be back!

What an awesome store! The games were well curated and what really stands out was how clean everything is. They also have some sought after games like xeno crisis and super metroid. This is the first store I been to that stocks the newer “homebrew” nes, genesis and snes releases. The best part is the staff member I spoke with seemed well versed in these newer titles and genuinely excited about everything the store carries. If you are a retro video gamer this is a definite must stop if you find yourself anywhere near this gem of a store.

Very reasonably priced merchandise. Join their club and they'll mail you when specific merchandise comes in! The service was great, ended up having a good conversation with one fella. They also have done their research and know of all the other stores in the area and made specialized recommendations to those - that says SO much about this place.Great job!!

Way better than the exchange, it's worth the extra distance to get market priced games. The owner is awesome and it's such a vibe 10/10 love the staff they are always willing to just talk about games and mods.

I'm not from the area, so I called the store when they opened, so I could confirm availability of a game that I wanted. They had it! The buying process was extremely straight forward. The product arrived at my mailbox in four days. It was a loose cartridge, but they took the effort to protect the cartridge from getting damaged during shipping. Most importantly, the game works. Overall, very exciting experience. Feels like I'm a kid again.

I was looking for a place to trade in some of my old game consoles.This store was one of the top results and it was close to home.When i walked in I was greeted with extreme kindness and they made me feel welcomed right away.I brought in all of my systems and they took a look at everything while not only testing the systems to make sure it worked properly but they also commented on how well the peripherals were maintained and taken care of.They offered me a very reasonable in store credit or cash back.I asked if the credit ever expired and was told that it did not and it was just tied to my phone number.The store is fantastic in what it offers. From gaming accessories to new and old video games. The prices as well are very reasonable and keep me coming back as a future customer.The owner is a very passionate gamer and is super happy to answer any question in regards to anything you have.They sell both original and reproduction carts which are marked accordingly to allow gamers and collectors to play overpriced games at a reasonable and fair market value.I encourage gamers, and collectors to check this place out. Help a growing business and keep them supported.They also do offer video game system repair if needed and will work with you during the time to give you updates as to how it is going.100 out of 100. 5 stars!!!!

This is an excellent, locally owned independent game store run by people who love video games and know the history to an impressive degree. In addition to modern games, they have a good selection of retro consoles and games, accessories. Great people to work with! I highly recommend visiting them first for your video game needs!

This place is an amazing find if you are a retro game collector! Even if you don't collect retro games, they have newer games for you too! They have consoles to choose from, Pop! figures, accessories, and many games. The prices are also very good, and even below most prices shown on eBay. The owner, Ethan, checked us out, gave us insider knowledge and was very pleasant to us. This will definitely be a place that I will frequently come back to.

Excellent customer service, and it's easy to find treasures here. It's rare to find a retail location that has a good mixture of the niche items and quality accessories for your retro consoles. I've already bought two GameBoys from them, and once you pop, the fun (Ninten)don't stop!

Really great retro and modern gaming shop. Ethan is cool to talk to and really knowledgeable and passionate about all of the products he sells. I bought a refurbished ps2 slim along with a CRT for a great price. Both are working well. He also offers 30 day warranties on the consoles which is awesome! It hasn’t been open very long so I expect that it’ll only get better and their gaming library will continue to expand in the future. Looking forward to being a repeat customer!

Love this store! My husband and I stumbled upon it and decided to go in and check it out. We bought a Sega Genesis (which works wonderfully) and the owner was very friendly and very knowledgeable. We will definitely be returning customers! Much better than The Exchange

Duck duck games seems to be more retro focused than new-gen, but what I do find when I go there is consistently the lowest price in the area. I’m always in and out with little to no wait. Great place.

I stopped by Duck Duck Games today to see what kind of retro games they had and was pleasantly surprised to find an amazing assortment! I met Ethan, the owner, and we spoke for a good while about what it’s like running a small business and meeting local hobbyists who are as enthusiastic about the retro game scene as he is. I highly recommend this shop for anyone looking for older games and consoles, im sure you could find something amazing here. Will definitely recommend it to all my friends too. :)

The folks working here never make you feel silly for not knowing something, and very obviously have the industry knowledge to really nerd out about games. Went here yesterday with my family. Been following them on Facebook for months just got around to going. What a great place. Store is clean, stock is good. Very fair pricing. As a game collector, this place cares. Their prices are extremely fair, even lower than current market values in some cases. Along with niche accessories for older and newer consoles, it's my new favorite store. So long to The Exchange.

An absolute dream for a retro game collector! Friendly staff, great selection, fair pricing (unlike more popular game and music resale chains). Also offers augmented classic consoles (e.g. backlit gameboy) and reproduction cartridges, so you can have a physical copy of a rarer game without cleaning out your wallet. If you're in Munroe Falls, stop in. If you're NOT in Munroe Falls, stop in! I picked up four games on my first visit!
