Tammy is the absolute best trainer in this area. Our GS pup has been going there since we got her. Tammy works with you so you have the dog you always wanted, explains why your dog maybe acting out and how to correct the situation. She teaches you how to also be the best dog owner. It is a balance between you and the effort you put into your dog. Our Mia also loves going there for her boarding when we are gone. I never worry if she is just stuck in a kennel and not getting what she needs. Jordan is great at communicating with us while we are gone.Northcoast K9 has always gone above and beyond making sure we are comfortable with leaving Mia to understanding what we are learning and applying to her training.Hands down the best around

Attentive and caring of the pet's they have in their care. Jordan sent several pictures while we were away in North Carolina to help put my mind at ease, since Chloe was a rescue dog and we had only had her a few months before we went on vacation. I will continue to bring our dogs here everytime we go out of town. Chloe remained happy and loving the entire time, however she was super excited to see us and ready to go home upon our return

Prior to attending “summer camp” at North Coast K-9, a month of in kennel training, this princess had the affectionate nickname of the Lilly Monster. She refused to come when called, jumped on everything and everyone. While she was our fun loving princess, she was also a terror at times. After her time at “camp” with Tammy, she has turned into Lilly Belle, a southern debutant. We went from the people who had their dog silently judged by others to the people who everyone is envious of. The joy of having a dog that knows her job and likes to practice and “go to work”, prancing step in step with you in a heal or the added safety for her when she instantly freezes when you say back.Tammy is not only great with dogs but she is great with people too, explaining the concepts and processes so that the success Lilly found at camp could be replicated and enhanced at home. Tammy gave us that aha moment about how to work with Lilly and that it was as important to maintain the work at home as Lilly got at camp.My wife and I have already decided all future pups we get will definitely be trained by Tammy. It was the best money we have ever spent!

I absolutely love this place. My pup was transformed into the perfect family pet. He went from nipping, being aggressive, not listening, and having accidents in the house to showing nothing but love and obedience. The trainer takes time to make sure you and your dog understand the training and get it down pat. They offer alternative ways to train if it's not quite working. They socialize your dog with the other dogs in the class while in a safe environment. They also take time to help your child understand and learn how to properly handle your dog as well. They offer multiple levels of training. They show so much care and compassion. They are realistic and more helpful than any where else I've ever been. I will continue to come back here for any of my k9 needs.

North Coast K9 did an amazing job with our two 4 year old rescue dogs through their board & train program. One of our dogs was dog & people aggressive and we were so happy with the results of his training. He's a completely different dog around the house as well as out in public. Our other dog was very stubborn and did whatever she wanted before and now she listens to us so much better which has made home life and trips out much easier. Turns out, you can teach older dogs new tricks. Only thing I would change is getting them trained with Tammy years ago instead of waiting so long! Thanks again😁

We got a German Shepherd puppy that turned out to be fairly high drive. Despite watching hundreds of hours of online training content and successfully teaching her a lot of "tricks," we were having some serious obedience issues at 16 weeks. This dog could do 360s and roll on command at times, but if there was another dog or a stranger around and it was a yelping tug fest that ended in frustration.We've so far been to 2 puppy kindergarten classes and there is a night and day difference. She is less likely to go ballistic when seeing another dog and if she does get overly excited, she now has the ability to calm down. We still have three more classes in kindergarten left, but I fully intend to do more training with North Coast.

We took our dog here for training a few years ago after we adopted him from a shelter at 1 year old. The difference before and after the training was enormous (as long as you continue to implement what they teach you during the class). They told us that it is just as much about training the human as it is about training the dog. You will not regret taking your dog here for training.

I am currently in training with my dog now. Great trainers. I have taken 4 previous dogs here with great results. After training with my last dog she was able to pass CGC (canine good citizenship) and become pet therapy certified.

We've been taking our two labs here for boarding while we're away for the last few years and they're anyways excited when we bring them back. The owners are very personable and friendly, diligent on following any extra directions and excellent with the dogs.

If you want a place that calls you back, this is not it. I called the first time and a lady answered, kinda rude saying she was in the middle of a class (how was I to know), I left my name and number. Never got a call back. I called a week later, left a voicemail with my name and number. Never got a call back. Called the 3rd time during their “open hours” no one answered, left a voicemail. Guess what, still no call! If you are actually trying to get people to come and pay for your classes, this is not how you do it!
