I have been coming here for about five years and had a great experience every time except this last time. Unfortunately I will be looking to find a new place to go after this.Typically coming here is great. They have an amazing staff that is busting butt to keep up, especially during gun season. Somehow they still have the best attitude I have ever experienced and are always willing to show the customer what they are buying to ensure a great experience. I have also always had great cuts and meat from here.However this last experience and a complete lack of any sort of apology has prompted me to write this review. Usually a deer is done within a few days during archery season. Specialty meats tends to take a few weeks but still done quickly. I dropped a deer off January 23rd I believe and ordered sticks to go with it. We ended up shooting another deer the next week and dropped it off as well with a normal cut with instructions that we would be picking them up together to save us from driving twice. We were told no biggie.On February 8th I called, no answer, and left a voicemail. They said, "finishing up the sticks."I called back a week and a half later wondering what was still going on and once again had to leave a voicemail. The reply text was, "We are still working on those sticks."Days continue to go by, so I call again. This time the voicemail is full. However they did have enough time to send some attitude, "We are trying to close for the year are you picking up your deer or not." As if we weren't trying to call, facebook, text, smoke signal Duma for the past month!Finally on Feb 23rd, a full month later, my deer was done.It sucks. I drove past other butcher shops because I liked coming here so much but am looking into other options for the 2024-2025 season.

First time customer here. I'm 39 and have been to several businesses in my life. From the moment I walked in the door, I have never felt so welcomed to a business. They were extremely patient and explained every detail for the process. I've never felt so comfortable at a place. Got the meat back, by far the best jerky I've ever had. All of the meat is clean, packaged very well, labeled, and definitely by the amount I received, they did a great job getting everything they could from the deer. Every single person in the building was very nice and professional in every aspect. I had friends who have used other places on a regular basis, and now are Duma customers starting this year. They also went here this year and received theirs back and are very pleased as well. From this point on, any deer I ever harvest, will come to Duma's!

Don't know what happened this year. Decided to bring one in for them so we could hunt some more. Picked up the deer. 2 packs of meat were thawed while the rest was frozen. Cuts look like it was from a fawn. Good sized deer. Won't make this $95 mistake again. Really don't think they gave me my deer back. Like they guarantee.Update:After consuming the grind I could taste beef fat and the deer I was given back tasted gut shot. If you've ever done that and ate one you'll never forget it. Now I told them no fat added to anything. Not what I asked for. I'll be doing my own deer for now on. I hope whoever got me deer enjoys it. Cause mine wasn't gut shot.

Once again impressed at the organization and efficiency of Duma Deer processing, LLC! From lineup, registration, parking and unloading, to selection of cuts and processing info, the staff was super friendly and helpful! I usually select a processor cost to my hunting location rather than near my home but this is the 5th or 6th time I've used Duma's and it's always been the very best experience!

Impressive operation, in the very short time I was there (both times) it went from just me dropping off my deer to 4 other customers lined up behind me, the lady at the front desk and the other gentleman had what seemed like all of us taken care of and out the drive way together... Just seamless, straight forward and at a price point that adding a pack of snack stix won't break the bank. They know what they are doing you can put your trust in them for your deer/meat processing needs. Furry and little feet on the property I would advise to use driveway as if it was your own and proceed slow following the signs they have displayed. Navigating very easy for first timers.

Dumas really messed up my order and wouldn't give me any credit. Cost me hundreds of dollars. Make sure Dave Dumas doesn't take your order, he's not attentive.

Screwed me out of my ribs twice. Talked to someone else that got rancid meat back from this facility and paid over $400 for one deer. Employees advised that there’s no way they could be wrong. Very rude. Never returning lost my business for life.

Had a deer processed last year here. Every single package of ground meat has had deer hair in it. Completely disgusted. 20 packages of meat ruined.

Great service, good price and quick to get you your product back. Dropped it off on a Saturday and had it the following Monday. Meat looks extremely clean and well butchered. I would definitely recommend giving them a try if you have a deer that needs processed.

Not only do these guys do a quality job processing deer, they have top notch customer service. They stayed open more than an hour late for me to drop off a deer I harvested in the evening when we had an uncommon 75 degree November day. Thanks to them I didn’t have to worry about the meat spoiling overnight. Highly recommend!

I have never been one to take my deer somewhere. I have always cut my own deer. With that being said I will never touch another deer. Picked my deer up today and Dumas does a fantastic job. For the price I paid I was not expecting to get nearly as much as I did with Dumas. Everything is vacuum packed and ready for freezer. No mess. First time experience and they now have a lifetime customer, And i will be throwing there name out every chance I get ! Thanks guys !

Probably the best place around to get your deer processed. I have been coming here for years and have never had an issue. They vacuum seal everything which is awesome.. The staff has always been friendly and ready to please. I would highly recommend coming here...

We brought in a 120 lb deer, told them we wanted roast, and back straps cut into steaks. They didn't make the roast and instead they ground it into hamburger and gave us only one of the back straps and still charged us $82 when we only got back 20lbs of meat! When we asked about it they said either pay us the $82 or we keep it. I will never go back. they are rude and do nothing that you ask of them! Not a good first experience with them AT ALL!!

There was 7 vehicles on front of me waiting to get a parking spot and once inside the building there was 6 people in front of me. With all of that I was only there about 10 minutes total. I was very impressed how fast their process was to get the deer checked in and get me on my way. Once I get my processed deer back I will update the total experience.

I've had a great experience both times ive used Dumas to process my deer. The people are friendly, and I got my deer back very quickly. I really like the price and how they vacuum pack. I will be back for sure!
