Poor service, absurd prices, dusty or otherwise headache inducing, and generally looks like a hoarder’s overflowing closet. Wish there was a better option in Milford.PS: these shoes aren’t fit to sell, let alone for $11?!

If I could give zero stars I would. A big fat zero! I had an emergency and had to go get my daughter. I had everything in a black basket. I gave it to a girl at the front desk and ask her if she could hold it while I'll go take care of some business and I'll be back. The reason I didn't purchase anything because they had lines backed up, which is expected because it's the holidays. I come back and the lady that has the accent that does not shut her mouth and is constantly talking, (maybe lines would go faster if she would shut her mouth,) put all my stuff back. She proceeds to tell me that they can't hold anything and she put it back. I actually took my time and dug through those bins because I purchase stuff as cheap as possible. It all comes out of my pocket. I purchase stuff for kids that are sick. I make goodie bags for them. It makes a whole difference in their life and they are not as scared being treated when they know they will get a present at the end of their visit. So needless to say, the lady with the accent that doesn't know how to keep her mouth shut AND continues while walking out the door, assuming she is off work now had put all my stuff back. I donate and I give lot and I don't have a lot to offer but I try my best!!!. I tried to give back all I can for this world. That was rude and nasty what she did and I will not be back at this St. Vincent de Paul. Nor will I donate to this place again. Not only is it because she put my stuff back and I took time going through this stuff for sick little kids but she continued to run her mouth walking out the door about the situation and was making it worse. Then she wants to be a smart aleck at the end of the conversation and tell me have a good day with a smirk on her face and a chuckle. I'm sure if she knew what I bought that stuff for she would have changed her mind. Unless she's just heartless because that's what it seems to me. People like that don't need to work with the public, especially ones who won't shut their mouth and continue to make the situation worse. Horrible horrible customer service!

Sadly nowhere near as good a furniture source as it used to be thanks to seriously smaller space for store and thus much fewer items and higher prices on those. Very sad but thankful for all the buys I got here in the past. Just seems like the thrifts for used furniture in southwest Ohio are drying up.

The store was pretty clean overall. Someone clearly puts a lot of care into organizing the clothing. Some of the other sections were much less organized. I didn't find anything to buy this time, but it wasn't from a lack of selection. They had lots of clothes, books, and more.

Great store, great prices, great staff! Thank you, especially to Silka; you are a very hospitable and positive employee! Bravo!

i don’t think they understand they’re a thrift store. the most unreal prices for stuff they got for FREE. the furniture section is overflowing because everything is priced like this. not pictured was the $350 beat up bike that was old, rusted and collecting dust. get it together.

This place is split into two stores. The original store has a bunch of furniture and stuff you would find in a garage or attic. Well organized but would be nice for better prices or discounts. The clothing store has a bunch of clothes for the whole family, shoes, dishes, and other goodies.

Please do those in need a favor and do not donate to this store. A womens shelter etc would be a much better choice. Asking $200 for a used blanket that they got for free is such a slap in the face to someone who could actually use it.

I go there pert near everyday. I find the people there polite and willing to help. I find some of the prices a little high. Just a little bit🤠

The worst and most hateful environment, clientele, and employees i’ve ever encountered. My partner was minding their business and the people here refused service, stared at, pointed at, and blatantly ignored them. It did not feel safe or friendly for ANY of us, and we’re white. The employees were antagonistic and snobby. People in the parking lot CIRCLED us, pointing and staring like we’re animals in a zoo. If you’re looking for animosity, stupidly high prices, and the stink of self righteousness, come to this place! You’ll leave with a heavy dose of anxiety and an emptied wallet. I see the owners have done nothing to address this behavior either, and that’s more telling than anything. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

Lately it is VERY overpriced! I’m not sure who is in the back coming up with these prices. So disappointing.

Expect to watch the cashiers (especially in the household section) spend more time texting than actually ringing you out. Even at the regular check out, the employees spend more time fighting with each other and the customers. The environment is so combative and everyone shopping feels it. Even if you abandon your cart at checkout, you won't leave empty handed - you get a unpleasant dose of vitriol for free.

In the past 4 months I have noticed an extreme price hike on all items. Rude and inappropriate actions from employees. Some seem to treat the items as their personal items they are selling. Many items are chipped or broken but priced as perfect. Sure the items are relatively cheap but dollar store items priced at 4-5 dollars or more is wild. I understand it's a thrift shop and the items are donated for some reason or another. There is many things I could say about the behind the counter scene I could elaborate on but I won't. I just ask you want to keep selling items at all maybe watch the inflation price you are placing on items.

If you’re a trans person I suggest avoiding this store. I went on a Sunday afternoon and the clientele was very hostile and the staff at the furniture section avoided serving me so they could serve customers who looked like them. Not a single person here was kind or polite to me even though I was minding my business. I left the store after 4 instances of antagonism. I do not recommend this place at all.

My brother and I went to this store early Saturday afternoon April 1st, 2023. This is our first time ever at this St. Vincent De Paul store. We went in and I explained the wonderful sales all greater Cincinnati area stores offer. We went our separate ways and my brother approached me upset and confused. He asked me can we leave because his cart was taken away and his items gone. He was holding two suits he wanted to buy but why was his cart taken? I was upset myself and asked for a manager and the manager came holding two items that did belong to my brother and asked my brother did he want the item and he asked why would you take my cart? And the manager yelled because the cart was empty and never offered an apology. He left and I dropped my items too in the cart and left and several white customers did not move despite asking politely to move. Yes, this St. Vincent De Paul is predominantly white with only my brother and I shopping today who are black. No other St. Vincent De Paul operates in this fashion without a simple apology and explaining of cart removal or simply asking around any customers whose cart is this. Nevertheless, this was a racist experience and for all people color please avoid this racist store period.

One star simply because they have a ton of stuff and it's pretty organized HOWEVER my husband and I are super unhappy with our visit. We found a decent digital camera, nothing fancy, it wouldn't power on but if it worked it could be fun to have around. We waited in line for nearly 20 minutes in the checkout line to simply ask if this camera had any charging cables or anything we could plug it in to see if it would power on, we were told "No cables, no manual, no charger." To which we responded, well we might have a charger at home that could work but if it doesn't work at all can we return it to the store and she responded "No, we do not do returns on anything" 🙄 the price on the camera was $35 and it was a 50/50 chance it wouldn't even work with no possibility to return it. Are you kidding me!!!!! DISAPPOINTED and likely never shopping here again.

Pretty good thrift store! Sometimes the prices are a little high on some items, but total deals on others. This store is always packed with tons of cool items (and people). I have found awesome furniture, great kitchenware, and vintage clothing in my years shopping here. The employees work hard and are always pretty friendly.

Prices are high an inconsistent. Meaning one coffee cup could be 75 cents but another one exactly the same will be 2 dollars. ALWAYS REMIND THE STAFF WHATS ON SALE WHEN CHECKING OUT. Don't know how many times they didn't ring up items right that were supposed to be discounted. Why have sales if we don't get them. Staff is 50/50. Some are nice and some (mostly higher ups) are rude and greedy. Just a few checks to think of. Other than that, go here almost everyday. Lots of stuff to find.

I love this store and have always found something cool each time I've been here. Last find was a really cool 6 small candle holder that stands upright for 4.00 that I just love and a 1,000 piece puzzle for 2.50 that will be hours of fun, lol more likely days at my pace. I have found some really neat kitchen stuff here too. I love this thrift shops.

This is probably my favorite thrift store in Cincinnati! The prices are very reasonable and the store is so clean every time. Everyone who works there is always so polite, I don’t think I’ve ever had a negative experience in all the years I’ve gone here :)

They have great deals and great workers. Always happy to help you with prices and to help load and unload your car. You can donate anything and they won't refuse it unless its stained, ripped, or has dog hair all over it. Other than that anything is what they take. The store clothing is colored and sized. Everythinf is its own row like short sleeves, long sleeves and shorts, skirts, pants. Then in the back is there Plus sizes. They always have two colors on sell a week. One is 1.49 and the other is 2.49. They have a white dry erase broad with other items that are on sell. There is two buildings one is clothing and small appliances. The other is furniture and big items. You will love how organized the stores are. Hope this helps

I love St Vincent's! I could shop for hours in this store! They have a little bit of everything but I especially enjoy looking through the clothing and jewelry sections.

The furniture personal are awful. I've been there 2 times, but I won't be there again. We, myself and 2 kids, were shopping in the store and they turned off the lights. Then they realized we were still there and said we had 5 mins. A second later as I was looking for my cart, another employee said we needed to check out, "NOW,". I told her I was looking for my cart and she said we put all the carts up. So I threw down what I had in my hand and we left.I felt our business was not wanted. It was beyond rude.I have not had an issue with the Clothing Dept. hence the 2 star rating.

Love this shop.! Half my wardrobe has come from here...even found a formal dress for our 15 year old daughter for $.49 and it is gorgeous on her. Perfect fit. Last September, my dad needed a suit for our sons wedding. He found a nice black suit, two shirts, and ties, all for under $20!

I love this store and have donated multiple times. The only frustration I have is with their book sections. I can never find anything. There needs to be some kind of organization. Just by author would be great as that is usually how I look at them. Other than that great
