Staff was friendly, and we were able to get in for 2 days on holiday weekend when everyone else had a 3 day minimum. The pool looked inviting although we did not use it. They had karaoke and a snow cone truck. Sites are not huge, but our site was pretty level with room for the truck and trailer. It is close to the turnpike, a hotel with bright lights, and some train tracks, so don't expect peace and quite. There was also a very strong smell of fresh asphalt like there was a nearby asphalt plant or they were paving a road, but I did not see either. Its a great place to stay while passing through or for going to Cedar Point.Nearby activities: Cedar Point

The owners and staff Jo, April and John are kind and friendly. We love the atmosphere there. It is relaxing and the weekend activities are a blast. We love the pool and appreciate having a dog park. It is close to Cedar point, many indoor water parks and right off the turnpike. My entire family enjoys it there and the owners are doing a lot of upgrades.

What breath of fresh air. We we’re tired and stopped for the night and we’re treated like family. Right off the bat we knew each other’s names. We liked this campground so much we made sure to stop on our return trip to home. I recommend this campground to anyone in the area.sites are spacious and the manager will make sure you don’t have a difficult time moving around the campground. We’ll kept and maintained.Thank you John (manager) and your sweet wife. She even gave me a Gain pod and fabric softer for my laundry needs.👍🏻

We had such an amazing experience visiting! The owners, Kim and Jon are incredibly hospitable and helpful! We will definitely return for a longer stay! We stayed in one of the charming A-Frame Cabins on the property, and it was so clean, cool, and close. We don't own an RV, but we were able to be literally next door to our friends staying with their RV!**Ignore the other reviews- the grills are all brand new now and fully functional Safety: As a single mom, I felt so grateful and safe staying here with my 9yr old son. There were so many wonderful families and children staying here :)

On our trip we called ahead for reservations an there were 2 places we viewed. The 1st after 5 attempts of calling an messages never answered or called but Sandusky did so we stayed there what ended up 5 nights as one of our party needed a dentist. Sandusky was so friendly, helpful an accomodating I would recommend them just on that alone. Sites are nice, watch for leveling. Pretty place.Nearby activities: Great places to eat. Mall shopping an beautiful sites

An unforgettable family vacation!!! We loved visiting Sandusky Milan RV Park. It’s equipped with everything you need, including a super cute store with all essentials, a nice pool, playground, basketball court and pavilions. Karaoke Saturday was a blast for all 5 of us, too! The major corn hole competition was a hit. We happened to be there for Christmas in July, and the owners and workers went all out to make it special, including pancakes with Santa. The park is centrally located, and we were able to explore so much in Ohio including Cedar Point, Downtown Sandusky, Put-in-Bay and Twin Oast Brewery. Thank you to the owners, Jon and Kim, and the staff for making our 2023 family trip a magical one. Can’t recommend it enough!!Nearby activities: Super close to Cedar Point, Downtown Sandusky and so many amazing places to visit.Noteworthy details: Comfortable and convenient! Laid back and felt right at home.

This is the worst campsite ever, we rented out a cabin that was supposed to have a grill, which was apparently stolen. Both cabins grills were stolen. So we had to use the grill all the way up front. The cabin was so small and had rips in the walls. Had a very small fireplace. Pillows were stained yellow, and when we asked for extra they gave us pillows with blood on them. The cabin, the bathrooms, and the place in general smells horrible. The woman at the front was super nice though and tried her hardest to make our stay better. Still one of the worst stays I've had anywhere.

Loved this little campground in Sandusky. I've seen reviews that said the bathrooms weren't clean. I completely disagree with that at least while we were there. We were there almost 10 days and never seen a mess. The park was very clean and kept up. The park had laundry service with drink and ice cream machines which was very convenient to the pool. There were ping-pong tables basketball courts arcade room a little camp store and corn hole boards. The staff were extremely nice and I would definitely visit again. The camp was around 20 minutes from Cedar point and the Lake. Shopping was convenient too.

I was reluctant to book this park after reading the reviews but it was the only park I could get a space in over the labor day holiday. The worst issue is the location, which is across the street from an industrial complex spewing noxious fumes. The first evening we were unable to sit outside as the smell was overpowering. The bathrooms were not the worst I’ve ever seen, but not as clean as they should have been. Often there was no soap or paper towels. On Saturday night someone set up a karaoke machine by the pool and allowed children to sing, which was like listening to nails on a chalkboard for four hours. One of the two dryers in the laundry was out of order the entire weekend. The most unsettling aspect of our booking was that management would not rent us the site unless we stayed through Tuesday, the day after the Labor Day holiday. Knowing they had us over a barrel enabled them to squeeze an additional night’s stay out of us. That alone ensured I would never again stay in this park. If you are absolutely hard pressed to find an RV site, it’s better than nothing but in good conscience I just cannot recommend this park.

This RV park isn't large, but it has a ton going for it. It is very convenient off of I80. There are many sites that are quite comfortable but somewhat close together. It has a pool, gameroom, small store, ice cream cooler, basketball, dog park, and full hook-ups. It is very convenient, easy pull in off of I80, sites are pull through with full hook-ups.

Nice except the bathrooms were a bit gross. There was no soap for most of the weekend but luckily we had our own. It looks like they clean the toilet seats but not the rest of the toilet as it has a layer of filth on the spot behind the toilet seat. Other than that it's a great location with a good pool for the kids.

We had such a fun time over Memorial Day weekend. Our kids played in the pool and jumped in the bounce house. The pizza food truck was so good and our kids loved the ice cream truck too! Sites are all pretty much level and lots of trees and wooded areas. We went to cedar point for 2 out of the 5 days we were there and traffic and getting in and out of the park was super easy. We would rather stay a little further out and have the peace and quiet of this park when we aren’t at the amusement parks. We will be back!

Stopped for 1 night tired on our trip. Site very sloped/ sites need better leveling. Terribly needed weeding. High weeds all around the electric and water hook up. Pros-enclosed dog walk. Pool was great. Overall clean

Had a great time here. When looking for some place close to cedar point to camp up this was one of them and I am glad we chose to stay here. The grounds were clean, the bathrooms were clean, and the owners were nice. We have decided to start doing a yearly trip and we will continue to stay here. We took some time to drive around and look at other campgrounds in the area and none were as up kept or as clean as this one.

Smaller site, pull through with full hook up makes up for that, price is fair. Pool looked nice. People we encountered were all super friendly. Sadly unable to connect to the WiFi, finally showed up for us in the am before we left. Would definitely consider staying here again for a cedar point trip!

Great park for the most part! Lots for kids to do and keep busy. Check in was super easy and tent sites were cozy in the woods. The downfall was the women's shower house. I watched the men's get cleaned daily, but no one ever cleaned the women's, and it was 4th of July weekend, so a lot of traffic in and out. The trash was overflowing with dirty diapers, feminine products and toilet paper. 2 out of 4 showers were closed, and the shower curtains were fabric and had black mold all over them. We started showering in the men's because it was so nasty in the women's... Other than that it was a great time and hopefully our next visit someone can hit up the women's showers even just to empty the trash at least one time.....or one good mop at the least.

Nice quiet cozy campground right off the turnpike! We stayed here for the weekend as we went to Cedar point on Saturday! There are two different sections, one for tents and another with gravel pads for rv/travel trailers to setup . Most of the pads seemed level. There is also ice and firewood available at the park office, nice and convenient so you don't have to leave. The bathhouse was clean and the water pressure was good in the showers! If I'm traveling in the area again I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Really enjoying my stay at the Sandusky Milan RV Park! I booked in the rustic tent camping portion of the park and it has been a very peaceful experience (even with the rain). The young man who works at the front desk brought my firewood and ice out to the site and even helped me set up my canopy tent because he saw me struggling with it lol.Some of the reviews say that there isn’t hot water in the women’s showers but I believe it is because they did not realize the controls are backwards.Everyone is very friendly and overall it has been a very satisfying experience!Highly recommend!

Nice little park, easy on/off for the turnpike. We spent one night. The pool was clean and the patio furniture was newer looking. Bathhouse was clean, although I didn’t use it. Very nice quiet and private tent/primitive area. Agree with the class A - it’s hilly and a bit unlevel - but we managed just fine with our 36” FW. Don’t be afraid to try it.
