Great location just off the highway. You can tell they are updating the rooms, but aren't quite done. The room was mostly finished, but tge hallway was still the old carpeting and it was absolutely filthy. Great service for as busy as they were during the eclipse, but breakfast ran out so quickly and they didn't refill it fast enough. Definitely didn't plan well for the big eclipse weekend.

Thought we found a great room. The staff was super cool but the bed bugs were in room 232. My buddy is paying $600 to get his house cleaned and I m lucky I changed clothes outside and left my clothes in the truck in 20 degree weather so my house should be fine. Be careful everyoneRooms: Bed bugs are disgusting.

This hotel has so much to offer! Upon arrival they left us a 10 cent discount on the floor plainly visible. Upon further inspection they were extremely thoughtful enough to leave us pre made waffles in the microwave in case we were hungry! They also have this ingenious idea to leave half used bars of soap on the tub base so if your feet are particularly dirty you can just swipe them back and forth for easy convenient cleanliness. On a good note, the heat worked well.

Possibly the dirtiest place I’ve ever stayed. My partner checked for bedbugs and felt okay so we got out our own cleaning supplies and went to work. There was a horrendous smear on the lampshade and the dust on the back was at least an inch thick. It was clear none of the surfaces had been wiped down and the bathroom mirror was filthy. The tub? Terrible! We were in the back building because they don’t have an elevator so we couldn’t get to our king-sized bed that we originally ordered. There’s no lock on the front door of the back building! The ice machine sounded terrifying! There’s another better looking and definitely safer Quality Inn five miles away so truly just go there. That said, I was surprised at how large the room was. We expected two queens but there was a queen and a full. The fridge was large and cold and there was a small dirty microwave. Oh and the television service was the absolute worst!Rooms: Dirtiest rooms I have ever encountered in 30 years of traveling as an adult. It was almost comical the ways that dirt, grime, stains, dust and general filth were left there. Covers on both beds had stains. The lampshade! was smeared with filth! The tub was black and grey!!!Safety: It didn’t feel safe. Looks hella shady. Outer door to building always unlocked.Noteworthy details: There’s another Quality Inn five miles away. My partner thought he was booking that one after reading their reviews but we ended up here through Priceline and it was the absolute pits.

Listen you get what you pay for. I stop here twice a month at least. And I look forward To seeing Becky. She puts the biggest smile on my facevery time I walk in. Today I walked in in tears because of a personal problem within a 1/2 an hour. Of her talking me off a ledge. We had a great conversation and Although the TV situation does suck, she got it to work. I've never had a problem with the room. It could just be updated. But all in all , if they ever get rid of becky , I will never stay at this place again period. (97% I believe that's her name.) LOL luv ya PGHAnd in a summer time not one but two swimming pools and a hot tub.

Amazing rooms! Don't let the somewhat outdated exterior fool you while they renovate. The inside is nice and updated.Rooms: Newly renovated and updated.

I can not say enough great things about this hotel. My children and I have had to stay here earlier this week and for the next 5 days due to our apartment fire(did not cause it). Amber, Melissa and April have been amazing the whole time. The lady that does the breakfast in the mornings is awesome. She remembered my boys and my sitter(who watches my boys here due to not being able to watch them in my apartment). Our rooms have been so clean and comfortable. We needed a double bed room for the three of us and they upgraded us to a 3 bed room. Thank you so much for everything. It is sad we can not stay at our own home, but everyone here makes us feel welcomed and safe.

First off, the staff is very friendly and accommodating! Unfortunately, this is the only silver lining of staying at this hotel. This is probably one of the most unsafe hotels that I've ever stayed in. There is no key card access required at any of the outside entry points of the hotel, the outdoor pool should literally be condemned - I can't believe they haven't had a major injury yet, there is broken concrete and drainage gates all located within the main area! The hotel itself is about 20 years overdue for updating. The hotel rooms don't have adequate ventilation and in our room there was chipped paint due to the excessive moisture where you can see they have painted over multiple layers of mold. The shower had mold around the perimeter embedded into the caulk, cloth shower curtains reeked of mildew, the faucet wasn't attached to the counter, the shower continuously dripped water, there were crumbs around the perimeter of the room, the window had a broken seal and around the rest of the hotel in the lobby and hallways you could see holes in the carpet. The breakfast was probably the worst I've seen at a continental breakfast as it consisted of only rotten oranges, yogurt, 2 cereals, oatmeal (if you're lucky and they have been refilled) and make your own waffle. 2 of the 3 mornings the oatmeal packets were empty and the apple juice smelled and tasted like bleach. A couple other positives - on one of the mornings there were bananas offered at breakfast and the pillows were comfortable. This hotel should realistically be charging people between $50-$70 a night. We would have literally rather stayed in a tent. We went with a group of 12 families and several of them checked out after seeing another family's room or after staying just one night (we were here for 3 nights.)

The staff was very friendly. However, the building we stayed in, the second one was awful. It and our room smelled like mold. Good thing we only stayed one night. I had to go ask for air freshener. I booked online so couldn't change our stay without losing our money. Our room against the wall looked like it was falling apart. The room wasn't very clean looking either.Rooms: Smelled like mold, along with the stairwell, and not very clean. I had to ask for air freshener to cover the smell.

My family stayed here with a baseball team during a local tournament. We were charged double the group block rate upon check in and the first two rooms they assigned us hadn't been touched since the last occupants (full trash, pizza boxes, beds unmade). They had to split our family of 5 into two separate rooms, one of which smelled musty and the AC was very dirty looking. The next morning, they moved us into our originally scheduled room for 6. It was a nice size and smelled better, but had trash in the corners on the floor (clean enough but not well cleaned). The hallway had trash on the floor for 2 days until I asked staff to please clean the hallway. We were not comfortable for our 4 night stay. Beware rooms in the secondary building. We were told they close that building up all winter and the rooms are not what you see in the pictures on the website. (The main building is nicer, if you can guarantee staying there, but we were not so lucky.)

The room I got with two beds was one of the biggest rooms I’ve stayed in. Staff was very friendly. Beds were very comfortable. Linens smelt clean. The room was very clean. TV has HBO channels! The hot tub was extremely relaxing. One word of advice if you’re coming from Cedar Point and you’re staying at this hotel in Milan you’ll pass another Quality Inn before you get to this one. This one is another five miles up the road. I went there first by mistake and they said 12 other people did the same thing. So not sure what’s going on with that lol. Also not many restaurants nearby. McDonalds and Circle K about 700 feet away.Nearby activities: Cedar Point is 10 miles away.Food & drinks: Free Continental BreakfastNoteworthy details: Indoor & outdoor pool with indoor hot tub.

Worse place to stay unless you are just looking for a roof to stay. Building is very old and has not been renovated. Bathtub wasn't clean and water was not going down. There was no breakfast. They just had waffle pancakes. Cofee was just like colored water. Very old and very dirty

My family was excited to stay. I figure paying the amount I was paying we would be staying in a nice classy hotel. Don't get me wrong the staff was nice. But the rooms needs to be repair or remodel. The bed was not comfy. There was stains around some of the ceilings. We had a leather computer chair that was so messed up that pieces kept coming off. The head board to the bed was messed up. I couldn't sleep well at night. Plus the toilet kept clogging up we told the lady at front desk and she gave us a plunger for we can do it ourselves and on top of that in order to close the room door you would have to slam the door closed. One of the worse hotel we stood in. The breakfast was not like the website says or looked. They only had waffles or one kind of cereal. I left a day earlier than what I was supposed too. The pool area was dirty. Dosen't looked like nothing it was advertised for. Not wasting money here again

Only thing good about it is the location. The rooms are so dirty and gross. There was literally left over candy left in all corners of my room and hair all over the bathroom. The managers didn’t really help at all with the situation. Very disappointing. The photos posted below are the better pictures after they came and “cleaned.”Rooms: Dirty

We stayed in the 4 double bed room. There were 3 adults and 3 children. We had an amazing time. Had the whole pool area to ourselves. Our room was huge. The staff was soooo nice.Only thing that I would complain about was the breakfast was not much of a breakfast. No drinks other than coffee and tea. Juice machine wasn’t working. But will definitely be back again!!!

We were not happy with our stay at this Quality Inn by Choice Hotel. We will not return to it and we are questioning Choice Hotels altogether. We were pleased with the "Grab & Go" breakfast - even though we would have preferred something more. It is what we expected and the attendant was friendly. The Indoor pool was clean and in good condition. Unfortunately, there were several things we did not expect. There is no elevator - granted they only have 2 floors, but you have to carry everything upstairs. There was no air conditioning in the lobby or in our room upon entry. Luckily, the room AC was good and cooled the room down within a couple of hours. There were no locks on exterior doors - anyone could enter the room and pool areas. The bathroom was horrendous. It had streaks all over the mirror - I'm not sure what the "cleaned" it with. There were 2 reddish brown spots on the mirror as well as several reddish brown spots on the ceiling (blood?). The floor of the tub was dirty. There was a thick layer of dust on the top of the tub surround. The bathroom vent did not work so the bathroom was steamed up when you took a shower. The shower head was low - about 5 feet off the floor. The paint / wall texture was peeling all over the bathroom (probably because of the non existent vent). The desk was streaked - probably "cleaned" with the same cloth. One of the beds had stained sheets - the 2nd one was ok thank goodness. I have more concerns, but I doubt this will get posted anyway...

First off, the entry way and foyer was beautiful. I think that's their way of getting you to get your foot in the door. The room was very outdated. The bathroom gave me the heebie jeebies. It was so gross. Took our kids to the indoor/outdoor pools. The indoor pool floor had POOP on the floor. Yes, you heard that right. Small sections of pieces/smeared poop. Another person had told me to watch where I step but it was too late, my sandal went right in it. The indoor garbage can had a bandaid stuck to it and what looked like mold forming on it. The outdoor pool had plastic/garbage and bandaids floating in it. The concrete around the pool was all cracked and broken in big chunks. After the check in area, everything looked like it was from the 50s. Needless to say we got our money back and went to a different hotel. Outrageous how these facilities are still open.

My husband and I stayed at The Quality Inn in Milan, OH August 11-15, 2022 and it was so incredibly disappointing. Thousands of people came to Ohio for the Pontiac Nationals at Summit Motorsports Park, but we were not the only ones unhappy with this lodging. For a four night stay totaling $625, we had half the draperies missing, no working phone in the room, a filthy mismatched chair and ottoman, a completely cracked sink, a broken and hanging security latch on the door, and a desk chair that looked as though something had chewed it. The outside door to the building had no level of security- not a lock or key card. Anyone could have just walked in from the street and in the door. The front desk did have the security latch repaired, but nothing else was done. The breakfast was unacceptable as well. When an employee accidentally dropped onto the floor disposable plastic utensils, they were not thrown away. If this is management’s idea of QUALITY, no one should be allowed to stay there. The staff was nice, but nothing got done. I will not return if it is the only place to stay.

Stayed for 3 nights. Thurs - Sunday. Friday and Saturday stay were 300% more than Thursday night. Breakfast was waffles or cereal only option each morning. Rooms were not great with non-working lights and A/C. Shower head is about 5ft high. A good amount of repairs needed throughout the hotel. Most workers were in street clothes and unidentifiable as staff members. Wasn't very clean either. Manager was very accommodating.

We were verbally sold off of what the 800 number stated the hotel is "fully remodeled." With that being said our TV didn't work most of the night, ac would not stay on and required us to unplug and reset it (grille and cover were broken off and missing). Our bed was cut open with padding sticking out, light fixtures not working and the tub would not drain after 4 hours of use. The wifi was absolutely unusable too.

If there's an event in town and this is the ONLY hotel with a room available, run. If not, the risk may be worth it as the front desk person was quite understanding. Because of the event, this hotel was marked up about 300% over its usual price. It was the only room left anywhere, so I booked it. I don't usually book something under a 4 star review, but I figured it couldn't be THAT bad.We checked in at 7pm, we didn't go to our room because we were late to meet someone. At around 2a.m we are exhausted and ready to pass out.. open the door.. the room had not been cleaned. We went down the desk, and we were told there was nothing they could do. No housekeeping available, manager was not willing to clean the room herself. We got a refund and drove 2+ hours home while dead tired. Also this hotel has 2 floors and no elevators as far as I can tell, so if you have mobility issues get 1st floor or just don't.

Or first of all the price was awesome. It was the cheapest place to stay in the Sandusky area it was probably one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in and I’ve stayed in several there. The beds especially working size and the mattress was no less than a five star hotel. I could’ve slept for days. The rooms were very clean most remodeled. And very spacious. The pool was extremely clean. I travel a lot And I’ve spent 4 times the amount of money And not have the cleanliness room and comfort of the quality in here. Not to mention the front desk and staff were very accommodating and friendly. Super nice people. I will stay here every time I return to Cedar point instead of spending 400+ A night at the breakers.
