I travel 200+ days a year, and this hotel is clean, inviting, and reasonably priced. My king bedroom was spacious, and the shower hot and yes, a REAL bar of soap....OK they had the pump stuff as well, but I like a bar of soap. Tiny reminder that they acknowledged my platinum status, but no water or other not a big deal, but many will bash you all. I loved your hotel and your staff and frankly said nothing.Rooms: Spacious and very clean

Staff was great, breakfast was nice, room was clean, but smelt bad. The room reeked of tar from the building across the street not only inside the hotel, but in the whole area of Sandusky/Milan. Our fridge didn’t work well, our door doesn’t latch so anyone could walk in, and the entrance is completely out of the way and almost caused us to get into an accident. I feel it was very overpriced for the stay. If I were to come back for volleyball, I would not choose this location, but the one down the road.

I could give the hotel 4, or even 5, stars. The staff is friendly and polite, the facilities are clean and up-to-date, and the location is convenient. Ok, the breakfast isn’t great but it’s typical chain hotel continental breakfast. What makes me give them a 2-star rating is the bad experience I had during check-in. I arrived at 6 pm, and I think I had put in my app that I was arriving at 6 pm, so I was right on time. But I was told the room wasn’t ready yet. What hotel doesn’t have rooms ready by 6 pm? They said the manager had to inspect the room but it was the next one on her list, it would only be a few minutes, please have a seat in the lobby. Twenty minutes later I asked about it, and was told she hadn’t checked it yet, but don’t worry it was next on her list. Another 20 minutes, same story. Then another twenty. Folks, it was over an hour that we waited. Then, after I was told the 4th time that she was going to check our room next, I said I was going up there to see for myself because I didn’t believe it. As I got off the elevator on the 4th floor, the manager was getting on and I rode back down with her. We discussed what was going on and she had several excuses. As it turns out, the room was very clean and I really appreciate that. But, like I told her, what I didn’t appreciate was being told continually that it would be a few minutes and that our room was next. If they had told me, hey we had a couple of large groups leave this morning and with so many people coming in for the eclipse, we are running behind and it might be awhile, we’ll text you when the room is ready, I might have felt a bit put out but at least I could have gone and done something else, like get dinner and run an errand that I needed to do. But no, I sat in the lobby for over an hour while they ran around doing who knows what and giving me empty promises and excuses. Speaking of empty promises, they said they would give me a discount. When I checked out on the second morning, they said their system was down but they would email my receipt. Looking at the receipt that evening, they did not give me a discount. They also said they would give me extra points on my membership. Since I did not know how many points I had before the stay, I cannot tell if they gave me extra points or not. I probably won’t be in the Sandusky/Milan area again, but if I am, I won’t stay here.Update: a few days later I received an email from Hilton apologizing, and an offer to discuss, but I didn’t have a chance to respond. A few days after that, I received a voicemail and email from the hotel itself informing that a credit has been applied to my card and that I will receive bonus points. I really do appreciate those gestures, though I still had the experience…

I stopped here overnight with my 2 dogs and 3 kids while on our drive from Philly to Chicago. The room was huge, clean, and comfortable. And the staff were great. Breakfast was good and there was always hot coffee and tea in the lobby. We didn't use the pool or gym, but they are on site.Rooms: Very clean and comfortable.Noteworthy details: Dog friendly.

Overall it was a nice and clean hotel. Staff was friendly as well. Our room was clean but some of the wash rags had some small stains on them. Breakfast was good for what it was. It changed each day which kind of sucked but the waffles and the potatoes were amazing. No dairy free milk options which stinks but overall pretty good. The pool was dirty and the area smelt strongly of natural gas. When we alerted the lady at the front desk she said "That is the 3rd complaint in 2 weeks." and obviously it's not being fixed then. So because of the smell and murkiness of the water we did not pursue the pool anymore. Oh and hot tub is out of service. Overall nice stay and would recommend.Rooms: Clean and surprisingly nice. Bedding/pillows is down alternative(duck feathers I believe) so heads up if you're allergic like me... would have been nice to know ahead of time.Nearby activities: Not far from Kalahari where we ate dinner at B-Lux or from Summit Raceway.

I can not say enough about the staff at this hotel. Leslie and the night receptionist went above and way beyond to assist my daughter and me. My daughter's car was incapacitated by a semi-truck, so we had to stay far from home in a terrible situation. They were patient and kind while I was on the phone in panic. They accommodated every special request we made and extended courtesies we didn't even think to ask for. Thank you!!!

What can I say about Hampton in Milan? As soon as we walked in we had a warm welcome by Jim he was so knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming. We asked him where a good place to eat was and he recommended a restaurant in Milan and man… the food was good. The rooms are clean and very large the fitness room Was awesome and the breakfast was great. We had an awesome experience at this hotel and you will too!Rooms: Very large and comfortableNearby activities: Downtown Milan was soooooo cute!!!!Safety: Felt very safe

I chose this location as it's about 20 minutes to Cedar Point, plus I always stay at Hiltons. Friendly staff, clean rooms with a large and modern television. Complementary breakfast is nice and the coffee in the lobby was always fresh. Another thing I noticed was that the rooms were quiet, knowing that the hotel was at about capacity. I would definitely go back.

A clean and safe place to stay just off of 80, very convenient with decent food nearby. Bri was working the desk and was a pleasure to speak with and very helpful when I was confused about how to work my room AC. She also didn’t know it, but I was going through something pretty rough at the time, and she gave me my first proper laugh in ages and her generally good vibes really helped.

After a long day a Cedar Point we were experiencing car trouble and had to spend the night, so we could get it fixed the next morning. So we booked the place at last minute. The check in process was great and the night crew of staff were great and a pleasure to deal with and were very welcoming. The room was spotless and comfortable. We were helped out with whatever we needed by the staff. Great experience.

Jim was absolutely fantastic. He checked us in very quickly and was very helpful with getting us into the correct room. Any questions or concerns we had, he solved them instantly. The room was also great, the breakfast was set up nicely, and it was great quality. Overall, the experience was great and I commend Jim for his 10/10 customer service!

We were greeted by Jim who was wonderful, checked us in right away and even suggested a wonderful restaurant (The Wonder Grill). Upon coming back in he caught us in the elevator to make sure we enjoyed!. There was gentleman in the elevator that stated he comes back to the hotel mainly because of Jim! We are planning a few more trips to Summit Racing and be sure we will be coming back to Hampton Suites! You have a gem with Jim!!

Overall good experience. Disappointed that the jacuzzi/hot tub wasn't operating. And the pool water was not clean/clear, with an obvious filter issue that has not been addressed. Prior reviews noted similar issues. Doesn't seem to be any sense of urgency to get these amenities corrected. Having kids along, would've likely chose another location had we known this was an ongoing issue at this property.

It was a really good experience. The room was super clean along with the whole hotel. The pool had too much chlorine, but they were super apologetic.However, the only reason I can't give 5/5 stars is because they accidentally charged us twice and I'm still waiting to hear back from the hotel for reimbursement. If it is handled quickly, I will happily change this to a give start review.

Spent the night here on our way to Cleveland and it was a completely enjoyable experience. We're Hilton Diamond so we look for their facilities as we travel. This one gets added to maps as a favorite. Convenient to the toll road, relatively near restaurants, we think it must be recently refurbished as the bathrooms and general decor look fresh. Comfortable beds and bedding. Room arrangement had the king bed far enough away from the HVAC which makes for a much better sleeping experience. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is the usual limited stuff but as we travel, we always find a local breakfast place and get a real meal so no worries there. Anyway, we're glad we found this stop as it will come in handy.
