I just purchased a box of Swaggerty farm sausage. I went to open it and realized it's been expired for almost a month. (Date on the box states best by 06/20/2023 ) So clearly no one is checking inventory or expiration dates on products on the shelves

Pretty disappointed in my shopping experience today. Prices were very high on items. Went to all the afterwards and notice all of their berries were at least a dollar cheaper and much better quality. Notice this on quite a few other items as well. Won't be returning here again. Not sure how they are still in business.

Always well stocked when I go, place is clean and orderly. Obviously stocked items change, where they might have some special items one week but not the next, but what I would consider "staples" of the average diet are always there. Their baking/seasonings section is magnificent and easy to find what you need. The meats always look good, and are marked clearly. Their fresh veggie section is small but still has a good variety of things. Also, much cheaper than Wal-Mart.

The people at this save-a-lot, unlike the Orwell save-a-lot, are extremely friendly, helpful and fast. When checkouts need to be opened they open them. I've not been too impressed with the produce. They is always a good selection of carts. They have boxes up front in case you forgot your bags or simply don't want to buy bags. I go to this Save-A-Lot over the Orwell Save-A-Lot even though I live closer to Orwell.

Great low prices, some good fresh produce. Fresh cuts of meat aren't half bad, they are decently priced. Nice staff. Don't go at peak times on Fridays or Saturdays. They won't have alot in stock after the Amish folks swarm them lol But otherwise it's a nice grocery store.

A smaller selection than many of the other nearby options. However, they do have very affordable generic option particularly in their frozen section of the store and on bulk meat.

Good value for small town shopping. Appreciate they rnforce the mask mandate to even their amish customeers who feel they are above it due ro their faith in god. So you and i dont have faith cuz we are taking care to slow the spread.

Used to work at the Middlefield Save-A-Lot. Great co-workers, but real crappy company policies. When a company makes you choose between your family and your job, that is a company you don't need to work for. I had never been wrote up so many times in all of my working years. You are wrote up over everything. If you are late 1 minute, you are wrote up. You call off, whether emergency or not, you are wrote up. If you have to leave early, you are wrote up. If they change your schedule, and not tell you, and you end up being late because you did not know, you are wrote up. If your drawer is $10 short, you are wrote up (you can be $9.99 short, just not $10). If you are $10 over you are wrote up (you can be $9.99 over, just not $10). You have to bring proof of everything, but you still get wrote up. You are only allowed to call off 3 times a year. So I recommend that if you have children, or a family that needs to be taken care of, do not work here, or find someone else to take care of them because Save-A-Lot expects you to devote all of your life to them. But you know as well as I do, the big wigs of corporate have family and children. I bet they call off, or their schedules change more than 3 times a year, and they don't get wrote up.

The 2 girls working there (one on the register and the other hanging over it talking to her) did not seem very pleasant. No smile, no hello, no have a nice day. Nothing. Seemed slightly irritated to have their conversation be interrupted by customers.

Very nice, larger store. Bring your own bags is best, but they do have some for sale at very reasonable prices. Boxes are also available for use.

Everything was ez to find...was my first vist. And i came from 1 hr away bcuz i heard about their specials n great prices. It was everything i expected n more. I had ask a couple employees for help n they did so without any attitudes...u get that alot these days, but not these girls. Thdy were happy to help me. Keep up the great work. Y'all rock. I tried garrettesville store n all i got was a headache.

Good store , new owners are making too many changes. People are complaining , they want the old products they had , and the prices they had. Changing products is not good sometimes.
