They’ve got everything from guns, archery, fishing, camping, their website is decent. Prices are expensive like every other gun shop. DO NOT get your gun transferred here as they charged $40 !! Check for sales and subscribe to their email flyer which might have something you’re looking for.

Wasn't my first time there I believe it was manager who helped he definitely handled me well I screwed paper work up first time felt like a dofus cause I'm actually pretty smart. Anyways we got thru it always find my price and weapon looked for, that's why I drive down there. What a great little town.

They had a New Years Sale online in which their website wouldn't allow me to make a purchase. I tried several times and from different computers to no avail. Nobody seemed to be in either of the stores to help and they have been completely unresponsive to email about the issue. Just talked to someone in the store and they said they wont honor the sale price even though their website would not let me check out all day yesterday.

I just came here for the Black Friday deal. The Amish guys behind the desk were friendly. The ones outside stared me down ( tall Hispanic) probably because they have never seen such a tall/big guy. Nonetheless they have pretty good merch for sale. The Iowa Smokehouse jerky was delicious. If you are looking for big brand stuff, this isn’t the place. No carhartt or Stanley cups here. But lots of substitutions ofbig brands ain’t your thing. Also a few toys for the kiddos and knifes are up front. Would comeBack here again if I’m in the area.

I had a problem with being over charged for a large item and I reached out to one manager and he was no help at all but another manager reached out to me after seeing my review and helped me out and refunded me the money without a problem. Definitely recommend going here and if you have a problem ask for Nicole she will help you out. Thank you Nicole I appreciate you helping me!!!

love hate relationship with Great Lakes, love the products and firearms but definitely have some staff issues, non helpful, act like they're above everyone and tend to gravitate towards pretty women! not all staff is this way but majority of gun salesmen, again I love the products and the store itself but customer service is not equal

Reviews are wrong! Have never had a good experience here. All staff are about as friendly and helpful as a rattlesnake. Prices are higher than anywhere else and they only have products that are "in season". This place sucks!

I would give Great Lakes Outdoors in Middlefield an A+. Large store with lots of sporting goods (especially firearms and ammo) to pick from - and employees who actually want to help you (a rarity nowadays).My wife and I had the pleasure of being assisted by the Firearms Manager - Mr. Robert Gotham. He spent a lot of time showing us the differences in handguns. We are in the market to buy a new handgun so my wife and I can shoot together. We enjoyed the time we spent there and are very close to purchasing a new handgun.I have bought ammo and browsed there before. The other employees were very helpful also. It’s a very nice change to go into a store where the staff actually wants to help you - rather than just tries to get you in and out.Thanks again all!

The place was great until my encounter with a d!@khead employee working the Firearm counter. Asked about 30-06 ammo and had some questions. Every answer the older gentleman had a d!ck answer. We left and will never come back. I'd rather drive 2hrs then to deal with that.

I bought a revolver from them on line. The e-mail address on the invoice for the FFL was incorrect. I had to call to see why it had not shipped. After a couple of transfers I ended up with the firearms manager. He gave me the correct e-mail address. I followed up with him to get a tacking number. I never received a reply. I can't say if he represents the culture of the company but he is a rude dog.

Love and hate this store. I hate coming here because I spend too much money. Went in for black powder, came out with that, and 2 new guns. Lol. Staff is so knowledgeable and helpful.

Employees were very friendly. Nice selection of camping and Kayaking equipment. Lots of firearms however prices on guns and ammo are inflated. There are other similar stores with better pricing. The used firearm section were as expensive as the new guns.

Great customer service and great selection. The drive is a little far for me to this location, but it is well worth it. I was greeted at the door and was asked if I needed help. I bought one firearm there and I will certainly back for more purchases in the future.

Thought they were reasonable, but drove all the way there because they wouldn't give me a price over the phone and they really low balled me on a couple guns to trade in. The guns are worth about $350 and $250 and they only offered $100 each. Insult. The manager that looked at them didn't even come out to give us the ridiculous offer.

Ordered a Savage rifle on their websit. The initial communication was a little lax, no tracking information was provided, but shipping was really fast! Also found that the rifle was missing iron sights, so Robert, William and Nicole contacted Savage on my behalf and had the sights shipped direct, no charge. Excellent support and very appreciated!

This is my new favorite place to buy ammunition, handguns et cetera. The staff is very friendly and helpful and their prices can't be beat. Even with a membership at a shooting range this place still has better prices. They also have a rewards program which I like as well.
