I do not know what has happened but the prices for the food is a lot higher than other stores in Middlefield. The deli is now just plain not organized every day you could just go in the store and pick up fried chicken and now you have to preorder it and when you do it is very dry and not as good as it used to be. Sad is say this but I wish KFC was back in Middlefield

Went to the deli. They need more people back there. She was doing stuff outside the counter and said she would be right with me, which was fine. Then she started with my requests, but a line formed behind me. She could use some help.

Nice store. I was able to quickly go in to get the items I needed. There wasn't a long wait time when I was there. I walked around a bit. I think the prices are fair here. Nice staff also!

This store could use a refresh. The entrance is not very well layout and the store always seems to have old musty smell, unless you're standing next to the fried chicken...which always smells good.

Place is hit or miss at best. They do not restock overnight,and it shows if your an early riser. I get what I need about 85% of the time as they do run out of items.

I've shopped GE, Middlefied for 30 years. Now, only when I have to or for a couple items. It used to be a pretty decent mid sized store. No longer. Over the past several years and particularly the last 3, while prices have gone up, selection, produce quality, stocking and deli/bakery hours have suffered greatly. Save yourself the frustration and drive to Bainbridge or Chardon where the stores are operated efficiently and stocked well.

I love Giant Eagle grocery stores that have the in-store liquor very fair prices on the wine if you get a case and the selection is as good as it can be with really wonderful quality from all around the world. The store has improved its management in the dairy Department and I haven't had any recent problems getting Land of Lakes half and half. That is to say that they have improved in that area whether they change managers or not I don't know but I will have to resend any mismanagement in that department at this point that I have reported previously for it has been corrected.

Yesterday we tried out a different location for Giant Eagle out in Middlefield Ohio and I have to tell all of you out there reading that they have plastic bags. They don’t make you pay $.10 a paper bag that breaks the minute you put some thing in it. All giant eagles are not created equally. I learned that yesterday, the store layout, however, is very different some thing I’m not used to so it was kind a hard for me to shop as quickly as I normally do. Unfortunately, the produce there was very limited and not fresh. The avocados were so ripe that when you picked some up, you felt like you were going to squeeze it into your hand, the meat department in that particular location was not great. Their prices for meat were extremely high a lot higher than my normal giant eagle in Beachwood. The perk was the plastic bags I was so happy and so was my boyfriend…. I believe it every single giant Eagle should go back to plastic bags. Obviously the propaganda for those stupid paper bags was just a farce.

they maybe a lil higher on some prices, but I get points to save on gas and they do have good sale prices. the fruit and vegetables are fresh and last longer then aldi's so if I'm not gonna use right away I know they won't spoil right away

The attitudes of the workers are so rude. They make u feel like your a bother instead of the person that PAYS their checks. This place sucks when it comes to customer service. The signs are never up for the sales and their departments are always closed. Trust me go somewhere else. Don't waste your time and money.

I really like this local Giant Eagle. It is very convenient for me, and I must say that Giant Eagle's fuel perks program is one of the best in the nation. The store is clean, well staffed, and makes a nice hometown store. The pharmacy here is staffed by a caring group of wonderful folks, just like you would find at the local pharmacy many years ago. One opportunity that this location has is that they do not carry many gourmet or spicy products. Let's get some flavor going on in our dishes, Middlefield!

This store continues to be one of the cleaniest and friendliest stores in the area with a nice bakery and deli section. The staff is very helpful and they don't remap the store that often so I rarely have trouble finding exactly what I need. Their deli and customer service close earlier than they do though so that's worth noting.

Very disappointing. Walk up to deli at 4:10pm on a Friday, 2 people behind counter, I ask for 1lb roast beef. He looks at me and said we are closed. Closed friday at 4pm! Its 4:10 and I cant get a pound of roast beef. Two people behind the counter!

There security system is outdated as a matter of fact their security cameras do not work as i was informed by the Middlefield police who tried to investigate my issue. Losers and manager should be fired!!!!!

The store is out-dated. The selection is sub-par. The produce is the worst in Middlefield. Spend the time to drive to Chardon or Bainbridge. Chardon is not a corporate store and their prices are lower than Middlefield. Customer service is going by the wayside everywhere though. Nobody cares anymore. "Go somewhere else" is the attitude everywhere. Aldi and Sav-A-Lot have better produce too.

Same experience every time never enough staff to check customers out, when I go to the costumer service desk to get checked out with my loaf of bread because I don’t want to wait behind several other customers with full carts I get the normal rude attitude like they are doing me a favor. The last time when I asked the African American woman behind the desk who was having a personal conversation with a Co worker would she mind checking me out I did not receive an answer, before she reluctantly broke off her conversation to assist me , the funny part or sad depending on your viewpoint is that I went to a place in the store called customer service

My wife & I don't often shop Middlefield Giant Eagle, opting instead for the Chardon store. On check out my wife got into a line, where she only had one customer ahead of her. There were only two registers open, so the few items she had was looking like a quick exit. Suddenly, they closed the line & everyone in her line were diverted to the now lone open register. The people in her line were NOT pleased. She said about 3 minutes later management did open another register. However, because of the length of her line, my wife & those behind her couldn't easily move over to the newly opened register. Staff should have been there to direct those shoppers to appropriate check outs & keep order. :-(

They have a nice choice of items to choose from and the deli is quality. The fuel perks are absolutely a benefit and the customer service also sells tickets to local ameusment parks, and other cool places. This giant eagle is very convenient for also being a liquor store and pharmacy as well as a bank.

It's not as big as some of the others. It is the best thing out that way. They have a nice shelter for the amish horses. The gas is usually a good price. They have a small beer and wine section.

Girls moved over to help bag my groceries. One saw my bag of sugar had a small hole in the corner. Switched it out while I checked out. Excellent customer service. The way it is supposed to be.

Nice quick stop. I pulled up to get gas and found a credit card on the ground next to the pump, before I got done pumping the owner came looking for it. I was glad I found it and gave it back. They were so pleased and grateful.
