I have been shopping at this store for about 2 years now.1st I got a drywall panel fall on my head when I tried to open the latch on the lifting bar. To take it down , I needed to unbreak the handbreak and latch. After I touched the latch , the whole panel suddenly fell on my head.2nd is this thing is too big and inconvenient to use in narrow spaces, because I can't even put the 4x8 drywall on the bar in a narrow space.3rd thing is i have to take all apart if i want to move to another door . it felt inconvenient and diffu to use , so i returned it and they didn’t accept it back because it had been used . i tried to explain the inconvenience about the product but they decided not to accept it back . look like he’s the new manager4th thing is the rebate, I have sent many invoices and followed the instructions and waited for few months without seeing a response so i stopped sending this anymore . i don’t know the event still active or not

Started to update floors through the house. We originally planned on going with Lowe’s however we fell in love with the color. Having used Menards for several projects in the past with no issues we never thought twice about going with them. I am extremely disappointed with the product we selected. I expected way better quality and much less imperfections. I also picked bad timing because of course it was off season for rebates. So sadly this remodel did not go well. I’m sharing because as customers we trust that Menards to sell the best materials available to their customers and this was not the case.

Overwhelmingly stocked with every single item you probably don't need until you walk thru the doors. From bricks to baseball bats and apples to augers, they got it. That being said, the quality of most of the products are on par with a dollar general. The variety of building materials for DIY projects keeps me coming back. Attached are random photos from today that I sent my wife while I was there for something completely different. And yes I forgot to get what I came there for which was ratchet straps.

Ordered a custom interior door online. Door showed up defective. They ordered a new one. I went to pick it up and the assistant manager Kim was absolutely rude with an attitude. My friend walked away because it was that bad. Got the door home and it was also defective. Jambs misaligned, door paint scratched, screws stripped. Picking up my 2nd replacement today. Mind you I have to rent a truck everytime as I don't have a vehicle to haul it. They won't offer any help on this matter at all. I asked if they could cover delivery or something but they wont even though this is not my mistake. Managers won't respond to emails and they claim they are doing a qc look over the doors. Not sure what doors they're looking at but apparently not mine.I will never shop here again and hopefully this 3rd door is a good one.

Save big money, oh yes, and big is the word of the day. My very first trip out to Menards in Mentor was worth the long drive. It is huge you could spenf a good part of your day and still not see everything... When it says save big money, they are right the prices are great the selection is vast. It is so pretty when you walk in and see the big Lighting Display. Although I could not purchase my countertops there because they do not offer installation, so many choices for all the other products that I'll need. As a restoration artist this will be a happy hit on my travels to get supplies. Great Job Menards! You also get a five out of five on Kristen's disability accessibility Star card. The whole store is completely accessible with plenty of staff around to lend a hand.

I seen on there website some wall panels I liked , when I went to place in the cart I found out I would have to order it , so I did . The order was placed 5 weeks ago and I was told be here on the 11th of April. So I started taking down the old walls on the 9th of April so everything was ready for the new wall panels. On the 11th I didn't hear a thing from Menards, so I called them to find out not only did they not have the panels , they couldn't even get them . And had the nerve to tell me that they wouldn't charge me a restocking fee. I never delt with a place where the works don't give a damn about sticking it to a customer. All it would have taken was a phone call. The service and attitudes there have to be the worst I have ever seen . That was my first and last time dealing with that store. Go to Lowe's or home Depot.

I had a couch shipped in with a missing leg and another one ruined from this store. I spoke to Travis and Josie in hardware and they went above and beyond to make sure I was a satisfied customer and got what I paid for. Thankyou so much for being so kind and helping me figure this out. Other employees (unsure of their names) were also extremely helpful and I just want to thank Menards for hiring such amazing customer service employees.

We have spent a SIGNIFICANT amount of money in this store the last 12 months. They were out of a grout color they stock so I ordered it online. In the meantime, I was able to get to the store and found it on the shelves (which the website indicated they are out of). NOW THEY ARE CHARGING ME A 25% RESTOCK FEE! BUYER BEWARE BE SURE THAT YOU CHECK IN STORE BEFORE ORDERING ANYTHING ONLINE!!! (Also side note all of the Menards stores are separate-once you order anything custom it cannot be transferred to any other store).

Always had what I came for, and more selection and option than any other competitor I've visited. Prices are higher than most, offset by a cumbersome rebate program that I've never bothered to use because I don't want to collect, make copies and wait for snailmail rebates. If prices were better I'd rate them higher, and shop there more often.

If I could give 0 stars, I would! Do not trust this store or their employees. Bought a mattress because there was a nice sale and a rebate. After I left the store I realized I did not get a receipt. I go back to the store and they basically told me I was SOL and I cannot get the rebate because THEY THREW OUT THE RECEIPT! Paid cash so I cannot show proof from a card statement and they told me they could not print another receipt because I paid with cash - this makes absolutely no sense to me. This is completely unfair and uncalled for. It was my first time shopping here and will be my last. So disappointed.

Special ordered 4 items that are 20 feet long and heavy. They were loaded onto my vehicle by forklift which was great, but when I unloaded them at home I realized that they were not the correct size items. The order was placed correctly, just the wrong item was pulled. Even though I received the incorrect items I was going to use them anyway because everything was lined up for me to start my project. The items I received are a lower price than the items I ordered. I thought it would be fair to get a credit for the difference even though I'd be using an inferior item through no fault of my own, but when I called I was refused that courtesy. I was basically told that since I accepted the items and left the yard, I was screwed. I would have to spend time, gas, etc. Bringing them back and pay a restocking fee and they could reorder the items and hope that the same mistake wasn't made again. Meanwhile I would have to cover the cost of moving resources since my project would be delayed.Being fair when it comes to customer service really goes a long way, but it is certainly lacking at Menard's!!!

I love Menards! They have all bases covered from the garden center to groceries paint blinds curtains wood paneling power tools everything at a great price and they have a rebate I'm so happy with them I don't know what to do I went there this time because my peach tree died and I couldn't find any fruit trees in any other places I went to Menards they had a great selection and they were on sale I jumped for joy I actually got a Santa Rosa Plum just what I was looking for. Still best garden center prices

Really like this the store and the staff has always been very helpful when I need it. Last week we were looking at ceiling fans and the young lady who helped us was incredibly knowledgeable. I love the outdoor lumber yard sure beats loading a cart and pushing it to a checkout then loading it into a a vehicle.

Just purchased an air Compressor yesterday worth 500$. And it does not work. I made sure with cashier that if something is wrong with my purchase if I can return it and she said yes. I tried to return the Compressor today and was denied a refund customer service was unfriendly. They are making me go take it to the manufacturer forcing me to take time that I don't have out of my day to have them try and repair it. This is a brand new item. Least they can do is return it or offer an exchange since I just bought it yesterday!!. Don't recommend shopping here. And I'll make sure my friends know what kind of products they sell here and you get stuck with if new/broken

Bought a brand new dryer here and when I got home and started to dry my clothes, I noticed it was not heating up. I went back to the store to explain the situation to customer service and offered absolutely no help. The customer service and managers at this store are absolutely awful and very unhelpful. Do not recommend.

Prices seem lower than competition, but review policies. Also, rebates need to be watched closely! I'm still waiting for mine for a July 30th purchase mailed in next day. They also charge if you order online to pick up at store. Better name brands at competition as well. Going back to competition.

Went to Menards to buy some fiberglass rebar. Was sold in 20 foot lengths. No way for me to transport home. Asked several associates on how to cut it in smaller lengths. One said to use the chop saw, another said I am on my own as they don't cut it. Customer use of chop saw is a huge liability issue. The chop saw had a wood cutting blade,not suitable for fiberglass .

We purchased a rather large kitchen cabinet assortment. Somewhere down the line there was mistake made. Tyler in cabinets has been very helpful I'm resolving this issue.Thanks being the image of customer service.

Such an amazing variety of items, with many being unique. Been missing having a toy store in the area, but they have a cool toy section with different and fun items that matched the kids in my list. They don't carry everything of course, but check out what they do have - and with excellent prices.

Been a Menards fan for a while. My latest experience was with a new washing machine. I needed a unit I could take home immediately. The other two big box stores didn't have any boxes to sell me. The best they could do is delivery sometime next week. Menard's had plenty in stock for immediate customer pick up. It's not my first choice for brand but I can't be too picky at 8pm in the evening. I was able to get the color I wanted in a XL capacity I needed. And I got 11% rebate to redeem.

I'm disappointed with the staff at the Mentor Menards store. The website showed a specific air conditioner in stock, quantity 2. I could have bought it from Amazon for slightly cheaper, but I wanted to buy from a brick & mortar store.When I found them, both had torn up boxes, and upon further inspection, damage to the AC units. They did have one in stock of the same brand/model but with higher cooling. That box was intact, but the cost was $150 more. I inquired if they would be able to sell me any of the damaged units with a discount, or maybe the higher end unit with a $50 discount.Not only could they not help me, but they were happy to leave the damaged units on the shelf.With today's gas prices, that is just an insult, as I'm sure I was not the first, nor will I be the last person that has left that store without buying damaged goods at full price.And yes, I purchased that unit from Amazon before I even left Menards.

If I could give zero stars I would. We sat to pick up an online order for an hour and a half. The people in this area are totally incompetent. First my husband pulled in and this guy came up to our truck for our paperwork. He took forever so my husband got half of the order himself. The other half the guy said he would get. When he was radioed to see how much longer, he said oh I forgot about them. How does this even happen. They weren't busy. Then we went to leave and my husband double checked the order which was a good thing because they forgot a tool he ordered. So we pulled back up and let them know. This woman went into the store to get the tool forgotten and didn't return. Two guys driving forklifts said it would be faster if my husband went looking for it. So he went in and found out they were sold out. So we bought this tool and it went even there. Then had to wait even longer for a refund. Totally reidiculous!!!!!!!!!

I ordered carpet on 11/6/22 approximate delivery 5 days from order date, it is 11/14/22 with no word no email because it was put in wrong. I call the store and oh it’s on back order. Guy I talk with says I never heard of it ever being on back order. Now not expected until the 21st. Poor service, really disappointing. First time and probably the last

Been in there probably 20 times since they opened bc of building my place. I’ve never had a bad experience, I’ve only spoke with an associate or two in the cabinetry department and they both were very knowledgeable. Very pleasant store with pretty much everything you could want or need. Most prices are lower than the competitors but check around. Some are not, plus the others are always running specials on things to compete with each other. Overall I and my kids enjoy the store.

Awesome place. Way better then home Depot and Lowes. Especially with the 10% rebates going on. Used all Menards stuff to redo my house over a year ago now and everything is holding up great.
