I recently had premium vinyl plank flooring installed in my whole house. The entire experience from the purchase through the installation was outstanding. The pros and cons of each flooring option were provided without the high pressure sales techniques. The pricing was competitive and prompt. From the beginning of our floor transformation process, your staff was knowledgeable and extremely helpful. We had a large area to cover on our first floor.The installers arrived right on time and immediately got to work. We are from Toledo and new to Concord Township/Lake County. I did not know which flooring business to choose from so I started looking on Google at the ratings and reviews. Floor Coverings International of Mentor had excellent reviews. I spoke with Joe Sekki (salesman) and he came out to our home and spent a lot of time with us showing us various samples. We ended up deciding to go with Joe for three rooms: we purchased engineered wood, luxury vinyl plank that looks like hardwood, and carpet for the three rooms. Their installers did a terrific job and Joe sent me pictures as the job progressed. I highly recommend Joe Sekki and Floor Coverings International of Mentor.

We just had a composite floating floor installed. WOW. What a difference it made too. Not only is it beautiful, but it is so much better than what we had (vinyl and laminate). It's comfortable to walk on, not cold, and extremely durable. It was almost the entire first floor. The installer was great. Efficient and knowledgeable. I would recommend Floor Coverings Intern'l to all my friends and family.

As smooth as a project can go. Clayton and Joe were very nice. I can’t say enough good things about Edgar who did all the demo and tile work. One of the hardest workers I’ve ever met and he really went the extra mile to ensure our project was done quickly, cleanly, and his tile work was excellent.

Wonderful experience from the moment we were contacted to set up a consult through the installation. We worked with Rob for the consult, Joe did the delivery, and Serg did the install. We ended up doing the tear out and quarter round ourselves as we had the ability, but everything else was done by them. Serg did both of the rooms within one day. I was honestly taken aback by how efficiently he worked with such a quality outcome. We will eventually be doing our upstairs, and will likely use them again!

Our experience with Floor Coverings International was very positive. Our job was supposed to take 2 to 3 days as it turned out it only took one day. We had 4 rooms done with luxury vinyl planking. The installers were great . Very attentive to detail and did a great job finishing off the trim. My wife and I are very pleased with the work they did. I recommend this company . They do what they say they will do.

Another update, after a little over a year of having the floor there are gaps appearing in our tile. I reached out to them via their website and they have ignored me. So I am resorting to leaving a bad review again and maybe they will answer me like they did before (see below). Multiple gaps between tile are appearing all over now. I added a photo of them.UPDATE* after posting this review the owners promptly contacted me to listen to our issues. They offered to have someone come out to fix the wood floor that was damaged. Our wood floors have been fixed and you can’t tell there was any damage done in the first place. We still love the final product, as we originally did, and we are thankful this company cares enough to address the issue and get it resolved. Originally I posted a 2 star review but now I am switching to a 5 star.I am giving a review of this place because we had some issues regarding our install. Overall the final product was amazing BUT they damaged a lot of stuff during our install and just left without saying a word like we wouldn’t find it. They broke the door to my garage by bending the automatic closing bar. They also broke off a piece of our oak trim in our foyer. And they just shoved our couch (which we moved and wasn’t in the way) so our REAL hardwood floors had deep gouges and scratches in it. The installers name was Serge. The salesmen Mark came over after I mentioned all this and he said to our faces “well, prove that we did that and that it wasn’t already existing damage but I’ll take $100 off to total” Also we were told that moving the appliances and toilet were included but it wasn’t until the installation was completed and I asked for my itemized copy with a breakdown of the charges that I saw it wasn’t and it was an additional cost. I have included the photos in my review. I tried to fill the scratches and gouges but they are terrible and I have to get several quotes to have it professionally serviced.

Joe was great to work with! The timeline they gave us was accurate too. Install ended up taking half a day less than expected which was great! Our floors look AMAZING! The LVP is beautiful and I am so happy with how they turned out. It was a positive experience overall and I’d definitely recommend them to others!

We needed a floor that would hold up with having a pool and two dogs.The day of install, the install guys showed up on time. Rob (the salesman) was very helpful, answered all our questions, educated us on the materials, and worked with us on pricing for removing the furniture and old carpet ourselves. He did not just give us what we wanted, but tried to find out what we needed. From the beginning, the schedule of the install was clearly communicated, and they were able to work around our schedules. The installers did a great job with all three rooms, we're friendly and courteous, cleaned up, and had us check the work. And the carpet looks great. Overall, it was a very smooth process. We would definitely hire Floor Coverings International again.
