Staff is usually great. Today I went and there's a new younger girl with short, blond-ish hair. After waiting 10 minutes in line I got to her, she never greeted me or anything. I tried interacting, not one word. I thought she was deaf or something, but then She looks at the other cashier and tells her she needs more bags. OK, so she CAN speak. Finish my LARGE transaction that obviously had her angry...and as I walk away she's already on her phone, not 10 seconds after checking me out. So I said to her "it's really rude to ignore a customer". The other cashier with red hair said "SHE DOES NOT LIKE TO TALK" HA,are u kidding, neither do I..I'm disabled w/ agoraphobia, but i am always Polite..So I responded "it's rude when the customer (me) has to ask for the total, has waited forever in line and is disabled and dizzy.. had to ask if she's finished, and thanking her but she says nothing at all during a 3 minute transaction"..the girl continues on her phone, no apologies from anyone..She obviously had to talk in the interview, so saying she doesn't like to talk, well, thats a lie, she applied and got the job...she should get a computer and work from home. I have NEVER complained about them, and trust me this store has every reason, but if this new girl is going to be excused for her behavior because she "doesn't like to talk" ..naturally, GENZ so I'm sure the mental toll on her job is exhausting and that means it's ok to be on your phone,with a line that's long, and not talk to anyone. Completely disgusting behavior and excuses.

This location is never staffed. The staff are never at the register, you always have to wait to check out and staff,are unfriendly

Like all DG stores, this one used to be a bit sloppy. I've noticed it has been so much nicer and brighter, and they've been doing a great job in getting stock put away. Nice, eye-catching displays here and there and expanded decor and craft areas too. DG stores have been in the news along with Family Dollar stores for charging more for items than the shelf price, so keep an eye on that.

The presentation and displays of merchandise has definitely improved . However , EVERYTIME I go there I'm over charged !!!!! Every single time . I'm done the location is convenient however I would rather drive across town and not be overcharged/ ripped off.

Clean, could find everything easily but ONLY have one worker there by themselves to deal with 10ppl waiting in line just show's me the manager expects too much for 1 person.Hire someone, lot's of ppl looking. Then the store could then look well stocked & organized better! So thing's are easier to find.

Staff is friendly . Store is always a mess ....shelves always empty . I dont neccesarily blame staff. Ots the only store that sells groceries on the southside of town since Hawkins closed. I just think they are having a hard time keeping items stocked .

Always get what I need for a good price. Love the digital coupons. This store is clean and mostly organized. All cashier's I've dealt have been friendly.

This Dollar General is good for a quick stop for an item you may have forgotten or need last minute. However, even after several trips, the store is often very disorganized with merchandise spread across the ground, product isn't rotated, and has a very run down feel. The associates were standing in the office doorway gossiping and failed to notice myself and others standing in line. Drive the extra 3/4 of a mile to CVS for a better quality shopping experience

This store is usually a 1 star but tonight the older African American cashier treated me great, even though she had been beaten down and cursed out all day over being out of the same items EVERY other store is out of. Chin up Ma'am, you are appreciated!

Good dollar store although they could have more things for a dollar. The shelves are usually always stocked and they always have seasonal items. The staff is freindly and helpful if you need help finding an item. I would recommend this store

Convinent..and usually not packed with people at most times.nice place to have on this side of town when you need a few things and dont feel like going to a larger store.only thing is sometimes their freezer area can be wiped clean of alot of thingsEven before covid. The staff is nice and patient well.

Pretty clean. Set up pretty much the same as most other dollar General stores. Very friendly staff I interacted with. Quick and efficient and there when I came to the register. Prices about the same as other dollar generals.

Seen over a few years now, they don't great you when you come in like before a year ago., there's a few that act like you are bothering them as you head to check out if there's not a line at check out., im in retail, the shelves are so dis organized and stuff not up to par on products., understand trucks need to be unpacked. Theres always an excuse as to why not on shelves and there's stuff always unpacked and in isles that you can get around. Not proper! I onload trucks everyday at my job and bigger than that! No joke! Just sayin. Medina Lafayette Rd. Ohio needs a uplift on management!

0 stars, one of the cashiers were incredibly rude, I don't remember her name but she had a tattoo of the name "David" on her neck. She insulted​ my 2, 15 year old granddaughters because they wanted to pay with cash AND card. She called them the "N word" and walked away to get the manager. The manager came and assisted them with the transaction. She did nothear the remarks of the employee. This is unacceptable behavior and she should not be dealing with the public.

They are never stocked up on anything really. Always just sitting around in that back little office and it's like your bothering them when they have to get up.it would help if they actually took the time to stock the shelves and clean up a bit

Lazy worker sitting behind the counter playing on his phone was too busy to check us out at the register. Stood there forever and he finally looked up like "ugh, I have to actually work." All I had was a card too.

The isles were a little cluttered and kind of messy..but the customer service was amazing, and the variety of items from Debbie to toiletries to kids toys to food is amazing
