Festive local joint located downtown. The atmosphere was lively and the servers were attentive. My burger was very juicy but a little undercooked for 'medium'. I would go again to try the tuna sandwich.

Went camping and decided to check out McConnelsville and get some food to go. This place was so good! I got a Rueben and onion rings (both were amazing) and my boyfriend got their special that day which was the porkchops with some kind of bbq sauce and sweet potato fries and a roll. He said it was the best porkchops he's ever had! The lady working was really nice and the portions were great and reasonably priced. This place did not disappoint, we will defiantly be back some day and hopefully eat inside when we don't have our puppers(:

Very good food! We had to try the Jumbo stuffed Tater Kegs....oh my goodness!!! Don't ever take them off the menu! :) Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

Great little tavern! The owner Steve is a great guy and sever Stephanie is the best! Highly recommend! Everything on the menu is delicious, wide variety of beers and liquors, even great desserts.

I went here with a buddy of mine for a late lunch after riding the back roads for a bit. I really wasn't expecting much. It was a small place, but very welcoming. I ordered the Reuben sandwich and some jalapeno caps. I love Reuben sandwiches, and this one was so delicious. I was bewildered that this little place had such wonderful corned beef and the saurkraut wasn't lacking either. The service was excellent. I don't think my glass was ever empty. The staff were very kind and polite. Overall, this Tavern is a great little gem.

Fantastic service- all food was at the waitress recommendation and was incredible. Best meal I've had in a while. Nothing fancy, but just good home cooking and generous portions. Steak was cooked perfectly as I asked. Food was hot and well seasoned. Tuxedo cake was ginormous- could've served 3 people! Prices extremely reasonable!! Highly recommend.

Food is always top notch, here! Service is always friendly, too. Music and tv are usually a bit too loud for my taste, though (and I'm hard of hearing.) But there's so ma y other good qualities about this restaurant, that I keep going back, when I can. 0:-) They're obviously doing something right! :-D

I stopped here for lunch with my family during weekday. The food was good, but the iced tea tasted like it was old. I didn't know whether it's the water in that area or if they actually let it sit too long, but it was gross.Other than that, everything else was fine.

Run down and food was not good. Two of three meals, the meat was way over cooked. A simple burger was cooked black, dry and was not fresh.. patty must have stayed on grill. Rueban sandwich - meat was over processed and clearly bought and just warmed up. Way over priced for quality of food

I've eaten here on several occasions and the staff is courteous and fast. My food has always been hot and great. There is also a great selection of craft beers. One of my favorites in Morgan county.

Simple, good food. Waitress was very nice and tended to us quickly at lunch. I forget the name of the burger I had (some kind of melt), but it was good despite the fact of a preformed patty.

My uncle, who lives in that area, brought my Dad and I here for dinner while we were visiting him. The atmosphere is very relaxed, the staff was very friendly and accommodating and the food was great! I had a Texas Melt and onion rings and it was delicious 😋 They also have a full bar and a TV so I bet game day is hopping!!

Stopped in mid afternoon for a sandwich while on a motorcycle day trip. Friendly staff, very good fries and melt sandwich, the taverns special. Will stop in again when in the area.
