Finally! My first hot tub after waiting for decades!Kurt made the process so smooth. He was so accessible and helpful (and patient) answering my (way too many) questions and made everything so easy to understand in running and maintaining my hot tub.Don’t let manufacturers online prices scare you off because Inside Out’s prices are alot less.The delivery crew was fast, professional, and had alot of good information for me as well.I highly recommend Inside Out Home Recreation. Everyone is helpful and nice. I should have done this years ago.

My debit card was hacked on Thursday, April 11, 2024, in the amount of $2k. Five minutes later they tried to run my number again, at Insideout Home Recreation, for $2,080.00 but that purchase was blocked by my financial institution. After learning all of this, I called the business to see if they would be willing to stop the sale or reverse the purchase. I called the Maumee location (as it was the 1st one listed online) on Friday, April 12, 2024 at 10:10 a.m. (my time), an hour after they opened and spoke to the store manager, Bobby. I advised Bobby as to the details and asked that this purchase be canceled/stopped so my money can be refunded to my account. And yes, I have a claim open with my financial institution but it will take up to 14-19 days for me to recoup my $2k. Bobby stated he was off on the 11th and asked if he could place me on a brief hold. Upon his return, he told me that his employees and his GM, David (Dave) were well aware of this transaction and that his GM and he would return my call later that day. After waiting 5 hours and 17 minutes I decided to call them back. So at 3:27p.m., my time, I did just that. A young man answered the phone and advised me that the GM is still not in but will call once he arrives. I then asked to speak with Bobby and Bobby would not take my call. The young man who took the call told me that Bobby would talk to me when the GM arrived. At this point it has been 7 days since my money was stolen out of my account and neither Dave nor Bobby have taken the liberty to call me back. I placed a 2nd call to my financial institution and advised them of the status and I was advised that they have received disputes tied to this Company many times. Bobby was very eager to tell me how his credit card was used in FL at a The Home Depot many times so he "understands." To which I replied my CC would have been a different beast but this transaction was against my debit card and pulled funds that are needed to get my family through on a daily basis. He then agreed and stated he would do what he could to resolve this and wish he knew who did this to me because it angered him so much. Yet nothing has been done and no calls have been received. This business does not care about the fraud that took place and their word means nothing. It makes me wonder if they are in on the fraudulent purchases. You could have done the right thing Bobby & David but you chose not. I hope your sale is worth putting a family in financial hardship!Signed - A Wisconsin Mom looking for YOU to do the right thing.

They were able to hook us up with a 15x30 above ground pool. Top notch service, and the pool is awesome. They even showed us how to keep up with the water chemicals and filter treatments! By far the best pool service we've received in the area!

I bought a 21' x 54" above ground pool at the end of June, and initially the process was smooth. The pool was installed within 10 days, and when I had questions on what to add to the pool and when, that staff that I spoke to on the phone were very helpful. It would have been more helpful/less stressful in my opinion if those instructions had been given out when I bought the pool, or by the people who set up the pool, but not that big of a deal. Then the problems started. It became apparent the first afternoon the pool was filled that there was a leak. I contacted Inside Out the next day, and was assured that "they would take care of me." Initially I was told by one staff member that it would be patched, but I was asked to send photos/video of the leak. No problem. Then I was sent a text by a different staff member that I was put on the schedule to have the liner replaced. Okay, fine, it was explained to me when I purchased it that it was under warranty and I was told when I initially called that "they would take care of me."Well, not really, in my opinion. Replacing the liner means draining the pool, which cost $475 to fill, which keep in mind started leaking on DAY ONE. Plus another round of start up salt and chemicals. I addressed the Inside Out staff concerning the cost of filling the pool again, because it doesn't seem fair that the customer should have to bear that cost. They told me to come in and they would replace the start up salt and chemicals for me (which they mostly did- they shorted me one bag) and that the manager would call me when he got in regarding the cost of filling the pool. It's been 3 weeks now and I still haven't gotten a call. Not holding my breath at this point.

Store manager is extremely unhelpful and rude. I purchased a pool heater from them 2019. 4 years later it’s malfunctioning and I call in for guidance to the “professionals” on what to do. The staff was very kind however the manager is very condescending and essentially told me the company won’t fix it, it was my problem even being it’s under warranty….he was extremely unhelpful and combative. I buy all my pool supplies from this company but will never step foot in their store again. It’s sad when you look for help from a “professional” but instead get someone who clearly doesn’t work well with people or want to help and definitely doesn’t value your business.

It’s been a terrible experience since we got the hot tub delivered. They are eager to sell but they don’t back up their products. Any concern they want to text their service people about it. It’s chaotic! I wish they backed the product as much as they push it on you! I will never recommend inside out to anyone!

I do not want to give them any stars because the salesman (Rick) was not honest with us. We purchased a 12 x 24 pool two weeks ago and left a deposit for 50% down. Rick walked us through the showroom and assured us that the pool was in stock. We were told that Stone Pools would contact us within 2 weeks to schedule an appointment to look at our yard and discuss installation options. We did not hear from the installer, so I called them with the number provided. Susan, at Stone Pools acknowledged that we were on their schedule but said that we were supposed to call them as soon as we purchased the pool! She informed me that Inside Out Has been telling customers to wait to call them in order to buy time because they do NOT have the pools in stock. She also said she would deny telling me this, if confronted and that it was unlikely we would have the pool installed this season. We were refunded our deposit in full so my interaction with this company is over. Take this as a cautionary tale. They only lie when their lips move, don’t be as gullible as I was.If they were really sorry about the situation, they would have delivered the pool I ordered and not invited me to a “warehouse tour”...laughable

I’ve had difficulty with our water levels lately… I took in a sample and not only did they “test” it, they explained and wrote down what I needed to do to fix it. I have had to visit the store several times, I love how they treat me-even remember my name.

Why the low star? I picked the pool I wanted, happy with that. Then salesman pushed us into a filtration system I didn't want and it sucks. Filters are expensive and the frog chlorine system has been a pain since day one and now not working at all, this is second season, and torpedos are over priced.First part of this not their fault but obviously service after the sale not a high priority. Pool came missing two lower half of the post caps. 1.5 years later I still hear "We'll call you when they come in".

My review is strictly based off of ordering Polywood products from them. I would highly recommend ordering directly from Polywood versus through Inside Out. I received no order updates from them (including no return call when I called them for an update). Then when my order arrived 6 weeks later (Surprise! Just sitting in my driveway one afternoon), half of it was in the wrong finish. Turns out they had accidentally ordered it wrong. They re-ordered, but it has been another 6 weeks and I still don’t have the correct product. When you call to check on order status, you get no help if your salesperson isn’t available to take your call. Just save yourself the headache and buy directly from Polywood- It’s the same price to do so (or actually cheaper if you’re in Michigan as taxes are less than Ohio) and you get email tracking info. I was trying to support a local business but just can’t justify buying through them again.

So thankful for all of Bobby’s help! He is terrific and I highly recommend asking for him if you’re looking to purchase a hot tub. My boyfriend and I purchased a salt water hot tub in November and Bobby called and helped us get it set up. I’ve contacted him a few times since and he’s always quick to respond and help with any questions I have. We love our hot tub and how easy it is to take care of.

Corey, the salesman was very knowledgeable and informative without being pushy. I took quite a bit of time trying to decide which tub to purchase and he didn't rush me at all. After it was delivered I called 3 or 4 times with questions, and he or whoever answered the phone was very nice and helpful. I am very pleased with the help I got even after the tub was delivered. I am not the kind of person that normally responds to these reviews but I am impressed with my visit/purchase. THANKS COREY!

We had a hot tub pump replaced 6/2020! Was quoted at the time cost would be $400 and we didn’t pay as thought it was covered by warranty. Did not receive a bill and then suddenly receive a call from John that we had an outstanding bill! The bill was $704.54! This was over a year later! I called John who got defensive with me on the phone. Stated they had decrease in staff and were catching up on billing. This wax over a year ago! When I questioned the price he said that is the cost of pump and Lon told my husband. That never happened! I now know that hot tub was out of warranty and that we are expected to pay but almost twice the amount?! Poor business management especially billing. Be careful using!

Found what I needed fairly quickly (chemicals). Guy at the counter was quick and helpful. Asked about winterizing our spa since it's new to us this year. Gave me the information I needed and let me know everything could be done by calling or texting their dedicated service phone line. Will continue to utilize them in the future.

Awful customer service. We bought a hot tub cover that was supposed to be in over a month ago. One of the workers said it was in their warehouse and told us to go drive and get it ourselves. Couple of days later another worker told us they weren’t even at the warehouse. Won’t be back.

Went for pool supplies. We appeared to be the only customers there. They didn't have the filter cartridge we needed. The Owner? had been outside mowing and checked in back room for one, even though he was hot and sweaty. They didn't have it and said it wasn't worth it to order it, & I should just get it online. I understood, but can't help feeling like your nailing the lid down on your coffin when you operate a specialty shop and someone drives 25 miles to you and you don't at least offer to get them what they need. I already knew Amazon had what I needed.

1. Our sales representative was very knowledgeable about the products his store sells.2. When my family went to Insideout, we thought our chances were minimal of finding what we wanted for the price we wanted to pay. We actually came away with something worth several times the amount that we had hoped to get.3. We expected delivery to be a couple of weeks after the purchase date but were pleasantly surprised to get the table that week.4. Delivery and setup were actually supervised by the store owner!

I worked with Krut and bought a hot tub. Made a few different trips before we bought anything. He was nice and didn't bother us while we were there. He had great knowledge of what he sold and did a great job of telling us about the spas. They delivered it and installed it for us too.

Overpriced! We should have shopped around better, I guess. But being new to the pool owning industry, we took their word for it on pricing. Turns out, after we purchased our pool through them, we found out that we could have gotten the same exact package for $2000 less elsewhere. 😒 The first gentleman that we talked to was more into talking about himself and his personal life than helping us learn more about the pool buying process. On a positive note, when we went back in to put the deposit down on the pool, we dealt with Rick, who was just awesome!!! He was very thorough in explaining how the process worked and what exactly we had to do. There were a lot of things he explained that the previous employee never even mentioned to us. Wish we would have had him from the get go! Moral of the story, shop around before making your final decision and make sure you are working with someone that is truly there to help you through the process and not just worried about making themselves an extra buck!

Big shoutout to the staff at InSideOutHome Recreation, Maumee location. We bought a set of steps for our PetMassage indoor dog hydrotherapy pool. They came in 2 boxes, in-pool steps and out-pool ladder. After I spent several hours assembling them I realized they were different sizes and didn’t fit together. I called Dave at the store, who immediately acknowledged their error. I liked that. I requested that they pick up what I’d put together and deliver their assembled floor model. The next day they brought the new steps and made the exchange. I’m very pleased with their customer service. They have my appreciation and have earned my continued business.

I purchased my pool 3 years ago and have returned to the Maumee location for all my pools purchases. That said I had the worse coustomer service ever this year! Has this location changed management? The sales people I have worked with for the past 3 years are gone! As usual I went to purchase my chemicals to open the pool, I gave them the list and my starter packs where left out, I live an hour away so not happy, then I send my sister to pick up the starter packs I open it and the pack has changed no big deal but here I'm think I got the wrong thing, It would have been nice if I was informed of the change. Now I start up the pool and find out I have a hair line crack in the fixture of pump, so back I go, I tell the sale guy I have the big pump that holds 250lbs of sand he is arguing with me they have never sold a pump that big and it does not pull up under my name in the system. I have pictures and he is still arguing that they never sold this size of pump!! So finally I just ask for a manager and he is going to try to find the fixture!! I really miss the knowledgeable staff that worked at this location,!! I guess I got a little spoiled walking in the door only 2 x a year and they knew who I was and what pool I purchased. However if you are not familiar with your products don't argue with your coustomers!! Go get someone to assist you!! Very dissatisfied!!

Purchased a hot tub (Grandee Hot Spring) from Inside out back in March. With COVID the delivery was out 4 months but our sales guy was upfront with the timing. Delivery team was great. Bobby walked me thru the salt water startup process over FaceTime (simple process). The Moto jet massagers are a life changer. Great experience overall and Bobby was a great! Definitely would recommend.

Horrible service, first after changing plans to be home the day they said they were going to deliver they called 1 hour before hand and said their truck broke down so then we had to wait a extra week to have the pool delivered. Then we finally got the pool and started to install it they gave us the wrong size of legs and the liner was wrong as well ,so we had to go back to the store on 2 different occasions to get the correct legs and liner. Then a day later we went to put the stairs together and it was missing the bolts so we had to go back a third time to get the bolts for the stairs. We ended up having to pay a extra 400 dollars to the installers for inside out pools mistakes and yet inside out did not give us any kind of credit or reimbursement for their faults.

Too expensive, Price is not competitive too high! Hot tubes, Your store is fine if you make over a 150,000 Dollars a year. A lot of people that live in the maumee area Are older And/or are retired And don't make that kind of money, So for us you're out of the park! Your store needs to be in ottawa hills or Beverly hills,sorry That's just one's opinion . No insult intended Have a nice day! Your products are fine, It's just too much for standard income people. It's not just your store it goes for a lot of stores in this area.

On 6/12/18 my wife and i purchased some patio furniture for $12,650.00 was told by the salesman, Corey that everything was in stock and they would be calling us for delivery. 2 weeks went by with NO phone call for delivery, so i called them to find out that some of our items were on back order ( wasn't told that the day of the purchase ). 3 weeks after our purchase we did in deed receive some of our furniture, the fire pit was the wrong one and was told by our salesman that the fire pit that he sold us that was on the show floor was discontinued ( Never was told that the day of our purchase either ). now my wife has called them again just yesterday 07/12/18 and still no answers, and still our order has not been completed. They have NEVER reached out to us once, we have been the ones to contact them every time to find out details. I am not sure if anyone there really know what is going on in that store. I just hope no one else has any of these issues that we have had, happen to them, so be aware!!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!! We are going to purchase a Hot Tub, but not from these guys. All i have to say is if this is not how you really run your business here at Inside Out, then here is your opportunity to make this all right, and get this all taken care of!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm giving 5 stars for the nice mannered sales man that helped us make the best choice. What I am honestly upset about currently is that... 1. We were told June 18th weeks ago by one of two secretaries for their construction company who survey your property. My husband has me make sure I have the day off where I am a General Manager for a restaurant. Then after waiting ALL DAY my husband calls and is Informed that their was a mistake and it was actually today. So... I have to leave work early on a busy Friday so my husband can go to his job and we want to be here for the surveyor. Welp, its 7 pm. My husband just checked and their office closed at 5pm. I am completely frustrated to no end that I have had a pallot of pool BS in my garage for almost a month, am told take the 18th of June or wait until the end of July, and then told the 19th and noone shows!!!! You may want to get some backup construction companies on board. Apparently this company is extremely overwhelmed and overworked at the moment. Covid or not, you launch a sale you should expect a big turnout. Prepare for it.
