Harms has been a fantastic company to do business with over the years. Their installers are professional, kind, and tidy. Ive been helped by a woman the last few times and I fail to remember her name, but she also was helpful and kind. I needed a particular kind of carpet and she took her time to make sure I understood what she was explaining. You won't be disappointed!

We have utilized Harms Flooring for multiple projects in our home and have been very pleased. The quality of the products have been excellent- from tile in our bathroom renovations to our hardwood refinishing to our carpets and rugs. Their team is really the differentiating factor, however. Jake was very responsive, and the workers they use were reliable, showed up on time, and cleaned up after the job was done. We keep returning to Harms Carpet One because of the service. We know we can trust them for a good price and excellent service.

It was sale pitched well that the “perfect flooring” was with Harms. As the sales lady walked through our home her comment every time we tried to say something was I know just what you want I have a “idea.” Limiting our conversation she proceeded to take pictures of our home for “comparison”We had uneasy feelings once she left. But proceeded with a appointment at Harms to select our flooring. We showed up at scheduled time walked around and was finally greeted by our sales lady 15 mins later. Selection was wide however to us we know very little about flooring just knew we wanted to match our wood work and other rooms. We thought we were showing up for appointment to see the “perfect flooring” the great “idea” the sales lady pitched at our home. However we found we were walking around in circles getting pictures from Zillow from our house purchase to compare and find what we thought would look good. The sales lady who had all the “ideas” when she was at our home seemed to have no ideas other than the differences between carpet, tile, and laminate flooring. The comments were made she had pictures of our home and what we picked she thinks will look good. We are curious as to y she took pictures? She never pulled them up for us to compare we were googling pictures from Zillow.Needless to say we proceeded and ordered flooring!Our flooring was just installed and we are very upset. Fresh paint needs touched up again, an outlet was broke, a heat vent was never cut, the flooring was never vacuumed after wards, and the crease from the carpets being connected looks AWFUL!!! Things do happen but make a phone call, let us know, why are we finding these things. The vacuum we were told was broke then we were told his van was broke so he was using someone else’s. Things happen but how they handled and fix them are the key!!! We called to figure out if this was typical was installations to go like this and she said no. I elaborated what would be done and she would call us back after talking with the owner.That call back was just as upsetting “sorry” and said they could fix it on a day we are not available!! Needless to say the carpet pieces are everywhere in the house now. After spending $15,000 in flooring u would think we would of been compensated someway a little more than a non sincere apology and non-accommodating dates to fix the issue. I will say the Google 5 star reviews doesn’t seem accurate!!! I wish we could say we got what we wanted and it looks good! BUT I CANT EVEN SAY THAT!!!

Like the carpet, although once installed, the pad was not a "cushy" as we had expected. Our disappointment has been with a change of grain where seamed that shows and the fact that our salesman, Woody, was notified of 2 other issues, said someone would come by and we were never contacted. Not happy about these. The seaming issue, we were told, would take care of itself in time with traffic, except its near a wall and will never see traffic. Its obvious and with an expensive carpet, Karistan, it should be show in my opinion.May 30 2018The installer came over and had fixed a gap between the carpet and the kitchen flooring. We really appreciated that. Believe he worked on the nap shown in the pictures. He suggested we see how it was after a while. Thing is, no one has called to check on this. The mismatch seems pretty apparent to me, and we are still not happy with it. I would expect someone other than the installer to come and see it. So....still disappointed in some of the responsiveness of the company for service satisfaction....

Their customer service was awesome! Monica assisted me with choosing the perfect carpeting for my parents’ home. Marcus and team came out and did an exceptional job installing it! They did five rooms and a hallway. They were punctual, fast, very courteous, and it looks perfect!! I highly recommend Harms Carpet One Floor and Home!!!

As much as I would like to give the review 1 star, the flooring itself is beautiful and the installers were great to work with. The office aspect is where all the trouble lies. From the get-go, it took numerous calls to get everything accomplished at each step. If I would've gotten a call back on the final issue of the quote vs actual costs, I would've given it five stars, but here we are. After the job was complete, I was never given a final bill and just told that whatever was financed based on the quote, I should just start paying when that bill arrives. (The first payment was due before the floor was even installed.) I asked twice about getting a final bill of services and each time I was told that it would be coming and it was never received.At issue is a large charge for plywood that was not needed by the installers, but I couldn’t get anyone to confirm the charges since I didn’t get a final bill. I brought this up during my final call I made to my salesperson and they still didn’t have an update at that point, but said they would get a final bill sent out. I’ve worked with a large number of contractors in the past at previous homes, including several roofers and they always send a final bill. This was the first time where I’ve not received a final bill and even four months later, it still upsets me thinking that someone at Harms thinks this is an okay practice.

My wife and I have always had the best Experience when using Harms! The showroom is beautiful with many different options to choose from. The sales staff is really great and patient. The installation crews are very good at what they do. Very neat, clean, and perfect installations. We replaced the carpet in our living room, hallway, and stairs at first. We have been a return customer for our kitchen & bathroom COREtech laminate flooring that looks as good as work and way more durable! Up next is our bedrooms, I'll be in touch.

I had replaced carpeting in two separate rooms by two different flooring stores. Hands down Harmes provided the superior product as well as quality installation! The carpet layers took great care to protect the walls and trim boards as well as create clean neat edges. With the other companies I had to touch up paint several places and the edges at the transition strip are fraying. I can not say enough about this company. They were over the top fabulous!

Harms customer service is beyond comparison! The sales’ staff really makes you feel important and that your ideas and creativity really matter in the design process. And the products are top-quality. We had our upstairs carpet replaced and it’s so soft and comfortable and looks perfect with our other decor, as Monica really took all the elements into consideration when helping us choose the right carpet for our home. Will definitely be back for my next project!

I can always find what I’m looking for and if I can’t they always go above and beyond to help source what is needed. Excellent service; excellent products! This was our first time working with the Harms team, and we are thrilled! We recently completed a complete kitchen renovation, and we used Harms for the wood flooring, tile and cabinets. Our new wood flooring is beautiful and has completely changed the look and feel of our kitchen, for the better. The service was professional - even and especially during the uncertainty of Covid - and the installation was quick and easy. The Harms team worked with us to help plan the timing of installation of each component, which was very helpful. At one point, one of the cabinets arrived upside down so we had to return it. Matt from ProSource was exceptionally responsive and took care of us immediately. They even provided a referral for wall tiling, and he was simply excellent! Overall, we are extremely pleased with the wood floors and wall tiles as well as the workmanship. Highly recommend Harms!

The people were nice, helpful, and good to work with from beginning to end. Much better than dealing with flooring departments from home depot/lowes (we have had very bad experiences with them). Price is very good for the quality and was actually a little cheaper than home depots worse quality carpet. Installers did a good job, all rooms and stairs that were carpeted look great! Very happy with our decision to go with harms!

I had very high expectations from their reputation but was extremely let down by this company. I will say that we had a great experience with the sales staff but our satisfaction ended once it came time for installation.Our installation was scheduled for a Friday. I even called them the day before to make sure they were still confirmed for the next day because our original installation got pushed back due to a COVID issue (totally understandable). The salesperson we had been working with assured me it was still happening the next day (Friday) but that they wouldn't be there until 11/12pm because they were finishing up another big job. I questioned whether they could install a whole floor of carpet in a half day, but she assured me it would be done. On the day of the scheduled installation when no one showed up by 12pm I called again to see what was going on. They said they would get a hold of the contractor and get back to me. While I was waiting for Harms to call me back, the contractor called me to see if someone would be at the house so that they could drop off the carpet/padding so they could get started first thing Saturday morning. I told him that I was told the carpet was supposed to be installed and finished today. He replied that it would be impossible to do that, and we weren't even on the schedule until Saturday. I continued to tell him that I called the day before and was assured by Harms that we were still scheduled for Friday and they would have the carpet finished on time. We were in the middle of moving into this house and had plans lined up to get all the furniture moved upstairs on that Saturday since the carpet was to be completed on Friday. There was a lot more back and forth during all of this and it basically came down to the contactor blaming Harms and Harms blaming the contractor. A lot of it just seemed shady and unprofessional. When I expressed how upset I was with Harms since this pushed back our plans and timeline to move in, all I got was a “sorry, it will be done tomorrow”. I was beyond frustrated at this point and felt like I was miss-informed and lied to. Had they just been honest with me when I call the day before to confirm, maybe I wouldn’t have been so upset.After they installed, the carpet looked good, but they banged up all our brand-new doors and trim badly. I understand a few nicks are expected, but there are huge noticeable gashes out of our brand-new trim and doors that we just installed. The kind that is more than just a touch up of paint. Dirty handprints left on our freshly painted walls and used masks left behind in the closet. Oh, and it appeared that one of the guys started bleeding during the project because they didn’t even bother to clean up the blood that was splattered all over our bathroom sink in plain sight... To top it all off, it has now been a month since install and we have yet to receive one follow up call from Harms to see how the install went. I kept holding off writing this review hoping that Harms would make it right to their customer, but it is obvious to me now that Harms doesn’t care about customer satisfaction.

They did a great job installing new hardwood floors, stripping the old floors, and then making the new and old planks look the same. They also installed carpet. The flooring looks fantastic!!! Would definitely recommend them, and will use them again in the future.

I would give zero if i could. Salesman was not pleasant to work with. They offer no multi room discount. We decided to go with them after all. To find out 4 weeks after we ordered it when we called wondering why we hadn't received a call to install....we found out they never ever ordered it. Cancelled the order.

Terrible customer service! After 2 phone calls(2 separate employees) about a particular floor (item number, brand and color included)we drive 40 min to find out they don’t have the sample they said that they did and somehow that’s our fault! LOL Took forever for someone to even acknowledge us then 1 lady tried to pawn us off on another lady then said she was busy then blamed us that someone didn’t return a sample because they don’t charge for them. The sample could have been there but they wouldn’t have known because the back of that store is a disaster! Don’t bother , go to another store!

Purchased Hunter Douglas Blinds about 4 1/2 years ago. The cord broke once and I took it to Harms. They sent to Hunter Douglas, no problems.It broke again today. I took it up and was told, bluntly, that they don't do that anymore!!!! WHAT? Lifetime warranty!/? I'll spend my money somewhere else next time... Never going in there again......BobNot completely accurate...I was told 'you don't send them off' anymore. Once I complained, she said I could leave it and see what happens. Only after I complained! I said I had a useless blind and she just sighed! She offered to do something after I complained... It was to late at that point. I did call Hunter Douglas and was taken care of. I should I have blind fixed within a couple of weeks!!!!!
