This store, if you even want to call it one, is way past its expiration date. Situated in a 1950's shopping plaza, the store just simply isn't up to modern day standards. I've been a patron here for over 20 years and have seen the remodeling and many efforts to restructure the product/shelving layouts; this building just simply needs to be torn and rebuilt from scratch. This store tries to do too much for what little and brittle space it occupies. Anything the corporate chain does here for improvements just results in a "putting lipstick on a pig" situation while the prospective demanding customer base keeps rising. It is not uncommon to be within arm's reach (or very close to personal space territory) of other customers when it gets busy. The product layout is horrendous and arbitrarily divided up (especially the pasta section). Width of most isles are reduced to narrow paths thanks to shipper displays every couple of feet and also result in blocking of some items they try to cram in their inventory. I was in the store a while back and saw that a pipe had burst! Some ceiling tiles are missing or rotting/molding. Shelving doesn't seem like it gets clean regularly, and some are even bent on the bottom levels. The floor is buckling in some places or simply cracked, adding hazards and exposure to the underlying concrete. From what I've heard from past employees, the back isn't much better, whether it's regularly failing equipment, neglected facilities or the dirty shipments they receive in the small, cramped warehouse. I've been told it's like entering a "third-world country", which is disappointing because I am one to support a local* business, considering this is among the more accessible and affordable options for the surrounding neighborhoods. This store simply isn't welcoming to me anymore and will happily shop elsewhere until others realize what kind of place they are stepping into.

Your pharmacy associates are rude. Furthermore, their capacity to answer simple questions and perform simple duties scare me that they have access to controlled substances.

I really love the pharmacy in the Massillon store!They're always so very helpful, and listen to my needs. I especially loved the pharmacist Joe, he seems very knowledgeable and is always tried to help me no matter how silly my questions may seem!

They have new self check outs and only a couple cashiers. No one was using self check out. When we were there last week there were long lines, as a result of no one wanting to go to register without cashiers. We all (well 99%) agree that we will not put anyone out of work!! Bring back our cashiers or we will shop elsewhere.

Marc's has a great supply of everything from vitamins to motor oil. Their "close-outs" sections are amazing! I found a heavy cotton comforter for less than $20!

Whole store looks and feels grimy. Less people at the register as of late and they're using "self check out" lanes which don't work half the time, which causes longer wait times to check out and leave. Might as well go somewhere else

Friendly staff, quicker than going into big box stores. Also have good deals on closeout stuff.If you go at the beginning of the month it will be busy.The cashier's are mostly kids and they are nice.

Lots of good deals I always end up spending more then I started out to. Because such good bargains. They don't have all sizes or flavors of something's. But what they do have is good deals.Great for holidays decoration's or gifts. Also party's an stuff for kids.Employee's are nice an helpful as well.

I go early because I love that I can zip through quickly when it's not crowded yet. I also get a good parking space as I am slightly handicapped. If I have questions, the staff person closest to where I am has always been kind and helpful. They ask if I need help out which thankfully I don't. They were especially helpful this morning when a person before me had created a problem. I always do my big, weekly list at Marc's.

I shop at Marc's over Wal-Mart whenever possible (especially since they now accept credit cards).Just today, I left my bag of groceries on the counter and walked out by accident. I returned a few minutes later after realizing the error and found out another customer had left with my bag by mistake. I was more than willing to pay for my items again since it was my fault, but the manager on duty allowed me to go through and replace everything I had lost for free. It was less than ten dollars worth of merchandise, but it said a lot to me about their commitment to customer service. Thank you Marc's!

I really like Marc's variety and stocked shelves. However, sometimes the staff is not helpful and the public restroom is extremely dirty.

I do not like Amherst Shopping Center, which could be part of the problem, but I find Marc's not to be well organized and seems to be cluttered.However, they do seem to have good deals on some items and fairly good prices overall. Great deals on pop! Yes, I said pop.

Awesome grocery although sometimes not as wide a selection. Priced as fair as any.Way way way better than Giant Eagle!!!Helpful people work here!I shop here all the time and am 90% happy!!!

Great store, not as crowded/crazy as Walmart, not as expensive as Giant Eagle but carries many of the same items. Store is clean, friendly and had a brand new deli! Bring cash out Discover.

Poorly run location in the Amherst Plaza. Place is busy as a beehive most Sundays; today was no different. Two check-outs open is infuriating. So the wife waits while go to the car. As I pass the (not so courteous) courtesy desk I mentioned that there about 45 folks waiting on the 2 registers that were open. To which I got a smara$$ reply from the CSM on duty; "oh 45 people, we'd better get on that". PATHETIC!! The three young ladies were probably too busy discussing last night prom to take care of business.

As a long time customer I really like the improvements. The prices are still lower than other stores and the price and selection of gluten-free products makes them my favorite store to shop.

I always find a bargain at their close out section. Groceries at Marc's is also at a lower price than local chain grocery stores like Giant Eagle and Fishers. My dollars go farther when I shop here.

I like the store but the only reason I gave it such a low score is because of the manager or assistant manager I dont know her name but shes been there a long time shes short with blond hair maube in her mid 30s but she was VERY rude to my mom on several occasions and I corrected her now when I go in shes rude she has walked away and let another cashier wait on me but when she has no choice but to wait on me she wont say one word not even thank you then shell turn to the next person smiling and talking I'm not sure if it's a racial problem that she has but she truly needs corrected it's gone on too long
