Am I Dadding This Right?

I really WANT to like this Aldi location, but every time I'm there they are out of some of the basics of cooking. Things like chicken stock, and even ground beef, should be a staple of the store. Like I said, I want to like it, but I don't know who's doing their inventory ordering but its just always a struggle for me. I felt like the old Aldi on US62 in Canton had a better selection even before they upgraded that store. That being said, the people are nice and generally helpful. They just need help in the inventory and replenishment department.

UPDATE: My best shopper is now the manager. Her eye for detail shows. I just prefer this one over the other stores near me.Updated and clean. They offer personal shopping via Instacart that I LOVE! The shopper I normally get is fantastic!

Grand opening today! Very happy to have this new Aldi so close to home. They are located next to Taco Bell, near Mennards on Erie Street. They have a nice parking lot with plenty of parking spaces. Inside is so clean and organized. I love the weekly “Aldi finds”. They have a lot of fresh, healthy, non-GMO and organic products here. I will definitely visit here often!

Horrible service pick up time was 5:20 was not ready until 6:30. It was hard to get staff to help. Very very disappointed. Great prices though!!!

Update: I wish they wouldn't have changed to self checkout, I am not a fan of any self checkout. I still love Aldi! Great produce and they have organic products at a very reasonable price. I love the small store shopping experience. It's always convenient to have a smaller store to shop in. Go back to cashiers. I like that they opened up a store in Massillon as well.

Can be busy but it's always well stocked. Recently, self checkouts were added and now there's only one cashier. I'll always choose the cashier. They're so fast and efficient. I'd be at self checkout for an hour if I did it!

Self checkout only take cards. And the one register that was open I had to stand at for 10 minutes or more for a cashier and cashier barely acknowledged me and about crushed my bread. This wasn't the only disappointing experience I've had at this location.

They took out all the register but two and put in self check outs. Which only take credit cards. I'm a cash or check kind of guy. And of the two registers they only have one open at a time. They did open the second one once after the line was half way down the store. I also feel that the selection and organization can be improved.

Great store, but i think there needs to be a limit on certain items. I have watched one amish guy take 6 cases of cottage cheese, he was kind enough to leave 5 tubs, and buy 4 cases of cream cheese, and countless bags of sugar, there wasnt even a half a pallet left of sugar, im sorry but i think there needs to be limit, its not fair to other people.

Had to edit my initial review. Used to love this store. It has gone way downhill since it first opened. The food is not as fresh, staff not as nice and the new addition of all but one register being self-serve credit card only is literally the worst idea I have seen. Not a positive change. Sadly, I have stopped shopping here as much as I used to.

They recently added self checkout which will take some getting used to, overall a good place to shop.Produce doesn’t seem to last as long as buying from Walmart or beuhlers however.

Great store for some things but definitely not a one stop grocery shop. They have fresh produce that stays fresh for more than a day or two. They also have a nice selection of items for building a Charcuterie board. They carry quality meats gmo and antibiotic free. I like their fruit flavored wines.

It’s a good store and had lots of options with everything up to date and fresh.The main issue I run into every time I go there is they only have 1 cashier and a line half way through the store in the middle isle.I understand a lot of places are lacking staff but if your line starts getting a bit ridiculous maybe you should have a manager jump on a register to help.

Love the ease of online ordering and pickup. Any substitutions are sent to you for approval as well, which is great. All selections are always fresh and good quality. Love the produce as well!

I was there today and tried to ask a simple question. The first two employees walked by me like I wasn't even there. I guess it's not enough to say "Excuse me. Can I ask a question?" The third one acted like I was an annoyance and it wasn't his job to help me. When he couldn't answer my question, he said he was sorry and walked off. Employee #4 was actually quite helpful!Somebody should also tell the cashier that courtesy/respect is for all customers, not just the ones she knows personally!We'll just go somewhere else next time.

Love the selection of fresh produce, breads/ buns, deli style meats and cheeses! Awesome steaks and hamburger! The variety and selection is wonderful and you can get everything you need (and then some) at low prices!
