This location showed up while I was online shopping for The Happy Planner and they had more options than I expected. They also had a lot of options for stickers. I love this JoAnn location due to how close they are to me as well as their excellent customer service. Their large variety of fabrics is one of my favorite parts of the store and to have some cut, I have yet to experience a line or long wait. I highly recommend this location!

Horrible attitude. Wife bought a $1200.viking machine. Was looking.to upgrade. Sewing was roped off. All she wanted was the price on a machine that she couldn't seeThe.person she spoke to response when asking to see the price. Was I can't sell it to you anyway and.shrugged her.shoulders n said well if I have to. My wife apologized to have bothered her and said noWe drove almost 30 miles for this type of service

I highly recommend downloading the joann app or looking up coupons online before going in because you can definitely save up a bunch of money. If you don’t want to download the app you can search up “ joann coupon codes or in store joann coupon codes” or online. The bathrooms were clean but smelled a bit funny.

Better call before you go to this location stopped on11 10 at 8pm said open till 9 sign said new hour close at 8 now just stopped at this location 11 17 at 7:07 pm lady said they closed at7:00 guess they make their own hour and close when they wantno wonder people order on-line should just close if can't keep open hours listed

Within the last 4-5 months this location and every location within 50 miles of it, has gone to absolute hell. I’ve been relying on Joanns for the last 2+ years to help supply my small jewelry business and after I finish transitioning within the next month or so, I will never give them my business again. The location in mason used to be the best, now none of them are worth a visit. Online/in-store stock is never accurate, I’ve driven 40+ minutes here on multiple occasions to buy something they supposedly had, just for them to not have it. They haven’t been stocking new items as they get them, just leaving the shelves empty and barren for WEEKS on end (mind you, they get new stock every week and should be replenishing as it comes in.) I get it if there’s an employee shortage… THEN SHUT THE STORES DOWN AND GET THEM TOGETHER. I’ve been giving them grace for months on end but I am FED up. I have driven/been to every Joanns within 75 miles of the Cincinnati area, including KY locations, they are all having the same issues, so clearly there is something wrong at the corporate level. Long review short: don’t shop here for any business needs, unless you’re doing a random one-off craft, because the products are inconsistent and there is no end in sight. Corporate needs to take a long hard look at their business model and adjust accordingly.

I tend to like this Joann’s better than the one closer to me because it’s bigger and has more stuff but the past few times the line has been extremely long with only like one or two cashiers. Went in recently was in line for 30 minutes and was still behind 3 people. At that point it was about 10 minutes to check out one person. I didn’t have time to wait another thirty minutes to get my 3 items checked out so I put the stuff down and just left. Extremely disappointed in this store as the cashier didn’t even call for help at the front as the line had 10+ people waiting in the line that was spilling out of the line area.

I went to the Mason store and after I left discovered the clearance price did not ring up right. I was in the area so I went back to get it fixed. Cynthia a manager came to help me. She was amazing. She took the time to give me the right price and was so nice in the process even though she had to re-ring many fabrics that I had purchased. It was amazing to have excellent customer service when there was a problem. Thank you Cynthia!

It's a fine place to shop. I was there on Saturday October 29th, an absolutely beautiful day! However, there's only one person working the register and there was a long line and it wasn't worth my wait. So I put my things on the shelf and left.

I love that Joann Is pet friendly! The staff are always very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Lots of craft supplies for almost any project you can think of. The only down side is that it seems there aren’t enough people to check out and the wait time is consistently substantial.

I ordered a few things online to pick up at the Mason location. I received the first email that my order was received but never received a follow up email. On 12/6/18 I checked online & couldn't even find my order so I went to the store during lunch to find out what was going on. There were about 5 of us in line & 2 cashiers when one of them said she was going to lunch & didn't even get another person to replace her. I finally get to the cashier & she finds my order but there was only 1 out of the 4 items I had ordered. She tells me that she thinks the items are in stock so I went to find them. Sure enough, everything was there so I went back up to the front of store & there was still only one cashier & 10 people in front of me. While waiting in line the cashier received a call from another person who ordered online & apparently couldn't find her order. About 7 minutes of waiting in line & they finally brought up 2 more cashiers. When I finally got up to the front the cashier that I had hadn't been given a code to be able to process the online portion of the order & asked me to wait for another cashier. I told her I now only had 15 minutes to get back to work before my lunch hour was up. She thankfully found a way to process the order for me. That was the only good thing about my visit.

This is my favorite Jo-Ann location now. My mother drives from northern Kentucky to take her sewing lessons here. They have the best selection of sewing machine accessories and parts as well. The staff was super knowledgeable too. Highly recommend and very worth the drive.

I had a horrible experience at the store in Mason, OH. The cashier was rude and was completely oblivious to good customer service and common sense.I had a coupon that I couldn't use in the store, but could use by ordering online with free pick up in the store. I ordered what I needed from my app and had a confirmation of the order (complete with an order number) on both my app and via email.Since there were several of the item on the shelf, I hoped to take the item with me instead of having to make another trip to the store. Time is a precious commodity during the holiday season.To my dismay, the cashier told me I could NOT take the item I purchased via the app (a sewing basket) with me AND there were several online orders coming in, so the employees were too busy to pull the sewing basket (which was in my hand) from the shelf. An employee would have to pull the item from the shelf and contact me via email when it was ready.I was extremely frustrated and understandably shaking my head as this was neither good customer service nor good common sense. This rude cashier didn't even bother to ask a manager if there was some work around so I wouldn't have to make another trip back to the store (and potentially save the employees some time filling an order).I wanted to support the brick and mortar store, but I regret doing so after this maddening experience.UPDATE: While this experience was completely frustrating, one of the Assistant Store Managers contacted me after seeing my survey response. She was very kind, listened to my issue, and understood my position and my frustration. She agreed that the employee should have spoken with a manager to see if there was a work around. I still have to make an additional trip out of my way to pick up my item, but she offered an additional discount to help offset the aggravation. I truly appreciate her attempt to make amends for a bad situation.

I find the store to be neat and tidy, the staff is always helpful and friendly. Every once in a while, you get someone who doesn't want to follow the rules posted clearly around the cutting table, but it's never the staff's fault. I've found the fastest way to check out is to have everything ready before getting in line. Coupons or competitor prices? Have them up and ready to go before you get in line. The employees do their very best to make every transaction go as smoothly and quickly as possible. I've also found the staff to be very knowledgeable about different projects I'm working on. If I have a question about anything, I know I can always get an answer!

One of my favorite places to shop. Friendly staff, clean store and always a pleasure shopping there. My niece is pregnant with twins and I crochet so I spent a lot of time here over the last few months, the staff always was willing to any time I needed it and even helped with some ideas for items i could make! Absolutely love this store!

Wonderful place, great array of offerings, constantly offering coupons. I also always spend way too much money there and come home with three pounds of fabric. I think it's totally worth it, my boyfriend might have a slightly different opinion. In fairness, he's found projects there that he's loved too. Staff are mostly wonderful, although some friends of mine that came out of town reported that they felt it was harder to get staff to assist due to both of my friends being women of color. I can't speak to that in my experience but please do be aware.

I had to travel to this location as the last of some Grinch Christmas fabric was out of stock at my usual Joann shop. I had to ask the sales associate if I could make my purchases in 3 different transactions. I hate to ask employees to take extra steps like that, makes me feel like a bother. I explained to Gail the associate that was helping me, what I needed. She was extremely patient and took care of the process. She had a couple of outside calls she had to answer, and had some issues in getting the sale complete. She had to call a manager to the front for help. In all of this chaos, she was patient, kind and did not make me feel at all like I was a problem. That does not happen very often in this day and time!! Love this store and especially Gail!!

Joann's is crafty. Their employee's are friendly and they have a decent selection of craft supplies. I go there for the fleece, they have a lot to pick from and I usually find it on sale. They're pet friendly too, so you can shop with your fur friends!

Bad experience with poor customer service, maybe due to the holidays. No one could help me find or look up the product if it was in stock. I went to go pick-up my online order and the young lady couldn't help me look up my order, by last name and driver's license, and told me to get her the confirmation number, which I politely stepped out of line to locate. When I came back, I showed her the email confirmation with the name and she didn't say a word the entire transaction until the end when I said "have a good day" and she did reply "you too". However, I do mainly attribute it to the timing and holiday stress or possibly a bad day. I can't honestly tell because this was my first time at this store.

The staff are helpful and budget conscious. I give the staff a 10 but the the store needs to be cleared of extra stuff... i couldn't get down at least 5 aisles when I was there because stock carts/clarence material that wasn't really clearance had overgrown into the aisles. The store was a mess...

The people there are not friendly and damn sure don't go out of their way to help you. Several people in line to check out put their purchases down and left. They had one old lady checking people out and a line a mile long.Wouldn't recommend anyone going there.

The rudest people I’ve ever met. We ran to petsmart (so we had our small puppy with us) and decided to run into Joann’s since Hobby Lobby is closed on Sunday’s. Not one person told us dogs were not allowed in the store. Until we got to the register, after purchasing my items of course. The lady who rang us out who was incredibly rude (about everything) told us that “oh just so you know for next time we don’t allow dogs” (with a stupid ass grin on her face) Don’t worry we won’t be back😉
