This is the fifth time in a row have come to this location and they have not been open when it says they are open on either Google or now even on their own hours log. This is ridiculous You're a business either update your hours or find people who can actually work the required hours for your business to be open. I understand unforeseen circumstances happen but as consistently as it has been the past few months I doubt it.

They never have enough staff. The drive through isn’t ever open because of the lack of staff and it takes over an hour to pick up a prescription! Caremark owns CVS and requires that we use their pharmacy. Worst pharmacy and worst insurance! This is a monopoly! I didn’t think that was legal! Maineville is the worst location! I would give them a negative 5 if I could!

The pharmacy is the absolute worst. There’s always a huge line not enough workers, and the service is extremely slow. Would avoid the pharmacy at all cost

This is an update(May 24, 2023) from my prior review:My wife said they are getting better so I checked it out myself.I was greeted with a friendly “Good morning!” at the drive through by Kelsey. Got my prescription within 5 minutes. Kelsey was friendly and knowledgeable and proactive with my prescription.Super! Then I went inside to pick up an over the counter medicine. I was greeted with a friendly greeting as I entered the store. As I was reading the label on a medicine box, an associate asked if she would help me in anyway. This is great improvement from my previous experience from 5 months ago.Pay these people more!!!Below is my review back in January 2023:Half an hour to pick up one called ahead prescription. They are super unorganized. They had two techs and a pharmacist working behind the counter. One worker looked through 8 baskets of medicine before finding the correct one. Same experience with their drive through. I will be switching to Walgreens after this.

Pharmacy closes for breaks with no notice. The workers will stare at you while you wait, and laugh, but they won’t help you.

Pharmacy store employee Kelly treats customer rudely and disrespectfully.Warning: Please check your medication expiration date in front of them and ask for exchange/return immediately if needed.

Thank you so much to the staff working today! I came in for an allergy product which wasn't on the shelf, but had arrived on the truck earlier. The employees went straight into the back and found me exactly what I needed. I appreciate that they pretty quickly took the time to help me out.

I called to pick up my script 2 days after it was called in, they told me they didn't have enough to fill it. Narcotic, so can't split script, couldn't rescript till next week, called my Dr, called cvs to work it out, left on hold twice, 13 mins, 15 mins, hung up after the 15 minute called back, pharmacist answered and proceeded to give me a hard time about how my tone of voice was upsetting her because of HER SCREW UP. They have labeled a shortened script as a 30 day supply before. Don't think I'll be using cvs anymorr.

Great friendly staff but I've never ever waited a half hour on a drive through line anywhere, this location is convenient for me but picking up my prescriptions at a location fifteen minutes away would faster. I have to switch pharmacies.

I recently visited this cvs pharmacy to fill a prescription for my dog and it was an absolute disaster with the rudest employees. I specifically took it here because GoodRx said I could get an expensive medication (usually $85 at the vet) for $16. I dropped off the prescription on a Saturday and was told it would be filled in a half hour and they would call me. On Sunday, since I didn’t get a call, I called the pharmacy and no one answered. Waited another day then Tuesday, went in to check on the status and hopefully pick it up. The first guy was helpful, he said it was ready, took longer because they actually had to order it, and got ready to ring me up. I showed him the GoodRx coupon then after a few minutes (no problem at all) said yes it’s $15.47 but I need the pharmacist to sign off on it. She, Shayla, was a treat. She looked at it and I could hear her ask him why they filled it, the prescription wasn’t filled out correctly. Then she proceeded to call the vet, tell them it’s wrong, and she won’t fill it. She handed the prescription back to me and said I need a new written one.Since the vet was still open, I headed over and they explained she was completely incorrect. She said details were missing and they clearly weren’t and she said the number of pills had to be spelled out (thirty vs 30) which was incorrect. The vet techs called her back correcting her while I was on my way to the vet.So with new prescription in hand, I went back to cvs (I tried another place but it’s hard to find this medication). I did the drive through and while waiting, the pharmacist who was literally filling my prescription knew I was back and wouldn’t make eye contact. Wouldn’t apologize or anything considering I drove a half hour and back to get a new prescription. When it was finally ready, they wouldn’t accept GoodRx this time around. It was the correct quantity and dosage, clearly listed as the generic option for the medicine and nothing. Dealt with two rude people and definitely kept my cool considering what they made me do for no reason.I will not return to this cvs - the pharmacy team (with the exception of the young man and woman who worked the counters primarily) are rude and are either uninformed or not trained to do their jobs correctly.

It took about ten minutes to be handed my covid test kit. The pharmacists didn't 'enter me in' so it took some time with my confirmation info to get me set up. We held up a lot of cars and the pharmacist rushed the swab. But they were pleasant and my test came back in 32 hours.

CVS Store #2840 on Parkside Drive in Mason has not impressed me yet. Moved to CVS because of insurance changes. It is now 10:23 on Sunday morning 1/12/23 and the pharmacy is still not open. 100% Unacceptable. I will be calling their regional office on Monday.

I moved to Mason about 25 years ago, and have been using this CVS as one of my two main pharmacies. When I retired several years ago, it is now my main pharmacy. I have never seen any of the problems some of the reviews list and I am in there at least 20 times a year. The lead pharmacist, Michelle, is extremely helpful and has given me good advice on OTC medications several times. I have never seen anyone treated rudely.

It’s really hit or miss. Sometimes it is efficient, other times you are on hold for 45 minutes, they don’t give you the right prescription, or they take 72 hours to fill a prescription. All pharmacies are terrible by nature though I don’t really understand why we need them.

Nice employees, however the selection is hit or miss. Unfortunately this location experiences a lot of theft, I was just inside looking for nail polish and I witnessed a woman start loading her purse with bottles of pills only to take out of the door. A staff member noticed and told her manager but by the time the manager had noticed the woman was already walking down the street. Hopefully the blatant amount of theft at this location doesn't negatively affect the income they're making.

This is my go to store. I love every single employee that works there, from the manager, the front to the pharmacy employees. It always has the newest items other CVSs in the area don’t have! It’s always my stop for holiday items!Rebecca specifically, is a wonderful manager. I completely understand why she was hired to lead people. She is so, SO kind & helpful. I’ve created quite a close relationship with her. I very much look forward to seeing her when I visit. Wanted to give her a specific shout out because she deserves as much money as possible! The pharmacy is always quick to refill my prescriptions & makes it so easy to pick them up efficiently. There is a young black man there,I regretfully forget his name at the moment but will edit when I find out, he is always the MOST helpful to me. He goes out of his way to make sure I have excellent service and by the time I’ve come he has already worked through my insurance if there’s any problems. This store truly is a pleasure to visit. Great deals, great organization & the employees are wonderful. They deserve minimum 17$ an hour, But absolutely more.Edit : donovyn!! Give my man more money, he deserves it and takes great care of your customers!

Drive thru covid test for travel!I visited this location for the first time for covid test and man, that employee who instructed me how to do the test wasn’t pleasant at all! I am not quite sure if she’s having a bad day or not but for sure wasn’t a good behavior she showed as a healthcare worker! Where is the the word CARE if this employee didn’t show any care to patients at all? I work in healthcare and l sure would never showed any rude behavior infront of them. I think she needed more training to be in healthcare industry! Anyway, the test came back in less than 48hrs so it was great.

Only using this excuse for a pharmacy as my insurance, who owns CVS, mandates either using this place or mail order pharmacy which is even worse. Several calls to complain about unwanted texts, calls until someone at the store finally told me to edit preferences for the CVS version of a Kroger card, which I never signed up for. I feel sorry for the pharmacist's working under such conditions. My father was a pharmacist. Will never spend an extra cent in this place. Store is dirty as well.

I started going to this pharmacy and was signed up for scriptsync and automatic refills. I didn’t feel that I needed either and never asked for it. My doctor’s office kept calling me to ask that I schedule a follow up visit. I found out that CVS was sending over refill requests that I didn’t ask them to.I checked the app and website and, although I found settings for auto refill, I wasn’t signed up to begin with so there was not an option to opt out. I called the pharmacy and asked that the automatic refills be stopped. The pharmacist told me to call the 800 number. I called this number and they told me to call the pharmacy. I then called back and talked to the pharmacy tech who said she would cancel autofills.A few weeks later, my doctor sent a prescription that I wasn’t sure I would be taking in the future. I might not need it, it might not work, or I might experience side effects. The pharmacist at the window asked me if I wanted automatic refills. I told her that I didn’t really know how to respond because I had never taken the drug once in my entire life. She seemed very eager to sign me up for automatic refills and I don’t necessarily think it was for my benefit. Then I kept getting phone calls nonstop telling me it was time to refill a prescription or that a prescription had no refills left. I don’t recall ever signing up for phone call reminders as I’m an adult who is capable of logging on to the app to ask for a refill if and when it’s needed. Guess what? No option on the website or app to cancel these reminders. Then I just gave up and transferred prescriptions to another pharmacy. And still the phone calls kept coming.I posted multiple messages on twitter asking that it please stop and was assured that they would take me off the list. I even resorted to putting in a fake phone number on my cvs profile. The calls are still coming in and I even got 2 more today. I’m in the process of filing a complaint with the BBB and FTC. Google the term CVS PCQ calls and see what people are saying.I can’t get CVS to leave me alone. I’ve never experienced anything like this. You have been warned.

The pharmacist Shayla is THE worst! She makes up the stores hours to close early when patients are in need on PAIN medications after surgery for my 68 old father! He is a long time customer and has never had problems with the lead pharmacist Michelle but that other one is AWFUL and so rude. She hung up on me when I was asking questions!!!! Wish I could give negative stars.

We just switched from Walgreens to CVS. This pharmacy has gotten my wife’s medicine wrong three times out of the several times we have there. That’s not has caused me to Write this review. They have a young man, wears think dark rim glasses wearing no name tag, that works behind the the pharmacy counter and he is in no way a pharmacist. However he is a sarcastic and extremely rude smart a—. He actually said to my wife when her prescription was wrong, (Well what do you want me to do about it, the Pharmacist screwed it up not me)? While holding his hands up in a scarstic motion. The other Day since she refused to go back there I went to pick her prescription, he actually had the nerve to give me an attitude, however I am a bit different than my wife and I wasn’t Tolerate it, and I let him know right then and there I was not going to as well so did everyone else standing there. However every time I go in there the staff including the pharmacist seem to be in a tense, cold and upright mood and this kid who is a complete pathetic excuse of an employee is the icing on the cake. So this family of six will leave to go to Yost Pharmacy instead. As well I am drafting a letter to CVS corporate offices and I will have my legal counsel send it as this young man left my wife in her currently fragile medical state in a worse position than she was before by his behavior. As well they messed her scripts up thus causing her more issues

Every single time we come here to pick up our prescriptions it’s a complete mess. The wait is always ridiculous and the staff are super rude if you try to say something about it. Not only that but they always manage to mess up our prescriptions somehow and tell us to come back 30 min later. They seriously need some REAL pharmacists.

They don’t even deserve 1 star. The pharmacy makes up hours as they go. The pharmacist are the rudest pharmacist I’ve ever had to deal with! They need to learn the definition of customer service, because they are definitely lacking it!!!

The pharmacy folks are very nice they deserve a 5 but only getting a 1 because they are understaffed and slow. Pay these people more money! But corporate Greed prevents that.

worst cvs I've ever been to. Especially the pharmacy.. pharmacists act like a bunch of elitists and talk down upon people way too many times. Actually tbh it's one pharmacist only.. I'll let yall figure out who it is. Also, probably the most mismanaged CVS I've ever been to. Right now, there are 12 cars in line at the pharmacy drive through window.. they've asked me to circle around twice. Wish I could give a half a star.

While travelling from out of state we contacted this pharmacy for help with a medication that was left at home. Even though the medicine in question was out of refills, the staff at this location worked with my physician and prescription benefit provider to to have a refill ready by the time we got there. Friendly, patient, and understanding.

The staff were super helpful. I had to fill my first prescription in the USA, having recently emigrated here. I had no clue how it worked but the lady who took my prescription was so patient and helpful with me and lovely to my kid. Thank you.

I give them 2 stars for being friendly and mostly clean, but I had called to verify that my prescription was ready, and drove from 20 minutes away to pick it up. Granted, I wasn't in a rush because the hours listed on google said they were open until 9 pm. When I called at 10 til 6, the gentleman never mentioned that they were about to close, knowing I was on my way. It seems as though it wasn't important. I'll transfer my script somewhere closer tomorrow for pick up.
