A lot of hidden fees when you go to rent a moving truck. Over $300! Cancel reservation at the desk after hearing this. 4 days later I got charged $150 for not canceling the reservation even tho i did it in person. Had to call and the fee was refunded.

We will never rent a car from this place again. We rented a 12 passenger van online 6 weeks prior to pick up date. An hour before picking it up we were called and told they didn't have the van. I said I called 2 days ago and was told by the manager, Aisha that it was there and she would see me on Friday. The guy working said the manager was off that day, but he could offer me a Honda Civic. After several phone calls magically a Tahoe appeared. It wasn't enough for our group but we took it because we were told that was are only option. We drove the car to Florida. We had someone stop us and tell us that the front tire looked bad and we should have it checked. Not only was one tire bad the other front tire was as well. They weren't just bald they were down to the metal. Budget is lucky we didn't blow a tire (s) and kill my entire family or someone else. When we returned the car they could have cared less. "Gee, we are sorry" is about the only explanation I received. Poor management by Aisha and her staff. Budget should close this rental place down. No idea what customer service means. When we asked for our rental money back they said you'll have to contact cooperate. Cooperate said we had to talk to Budget in Mason. What a joke! Not sure how this company has stayed in business. Don't ever rent from this place unless you want to risk your life.

Service was fine. Upon picking up, was told car was not cleaned yet, but I was allowed to see if it was okay, and for my one day business trip it was fine. The problem came after returning it. I got a letter and a charge for $250 for cleaning of 'pet hair' which was ridiculous because none was present (even in its uncleaned state upon being given to me). Luckily the call to reverse the charge was easy, just took being on hold for 15 minutes while my case was looked at. That alone left a bad taste in my mouth and I will avoid renting here again at all costs.

The car was fine. However, once we started driving, we saw the tire pressure was very low (23). We had to stop to fill up two of the tires. On the highway, it started raining. The windshield wipers did not work whatsoever. It was very scary. I pulled off immediately and had to find an auto parts shop to replace the wipers. When I dropped off my car and let them know, there was no concern. We did get reimbursed, but I feel these safety issues should have been checked before we took off.

Liked lots of things about our experience. 1st we all decided to pick up our car at noon and the manager did a great job moving the process along as she was the only one on the counter except a trainee she was helping. We did not like the first car offered and she patiently selected a different one for us. The experience was A1. I felt the price was far.

Mrs. Aisha provides THE BEST customer service in the kindest way. She goes above and beyond for her customers & it is truly appreciated! HIGHLY recommend doing business with them as it’s our preferred rental location out of the entire country.

I was in Ohio last week and booked a standard sedan. I rented from Airport but they did not have any sedans or small SUVs so they gave me a full size 7 seater SUV which they said I can change from any budget the next day. I had a long drive the other day and it was too big for me so I went to all nearby locations but none of them was able to help me. I called at this location and the lady was so kind to offer me help. She asked me to come and gave me assurance that she’d see what she can do rather than all other location in/ near Cincinnati asked me to just not to come and even denied helping. Thanks for the help and really appreciate it.

I had to return first car I was given. (No choice given like your ad?) Second car had a dirty inside window that I had to stop and clean myself. Was not able to sync my iphone with the navigation? Took it to another Avis airport location but they could not fix it? Wound up holding my cell phone in my hand for directions. There was no cell phone holder. I had to stop my rental and take the car back early. Only for 3 days instead of 6.

I can tell the owner didn't enjoy making the call, but 2 days out from an cross-country trip they changed my vehicle. Pay attention to the terms and conditions. Forcing someone into a larger vehicle isn't an upgrade.Traveling with an animal so that is problematic, and telling me two days in advance of the scheduled pick up time. Legally they avoid this being a bait and switch by calling it a reservation, implying they will take your money, and at will change your agreement.Don't book with Budget if any part of your trip needs to be specific.

For starters I went online and made a reservation for the next day pick up in Fairfield. On my way to pick up my rental I received a phone call, the lady from the Fairfield location said" we don't have any vehicles to rent." ! I asked, " what am I supposed to do? I need a car to pick up my uncle!" She said call around and see if a different location has any thing available! Now mind you I am driving so I have to pull over and look up a different locations number. I found Westchester location, so I start going in that direction, they didn't have anything available either! So I call costumer service he looked around the area and said I needed to go to Mason Ohio! So I went to Mason and went to pick up my rental from there and the person at this location said he didn't see my reservation. Then proceeded to tell me that my reservation got cancelled and he didn't have anything available either! I went back to my car and called costumer service, they did what they did and gave me a reservation number and I took it into the guy in the office, he tells me that I went outside and just made this reservation and he just told me he didn't have anything! Well he did but the only thing was it was not cleaned yet! I needed a car so I told him I would take it! Okay, I bring the car back and wait for my bill to show up on my CC so my uncle can reimburse me for coming to pick him up and my bill is over 800 dollars. With a misc. Charge of 450.00! So I spend 1.5 hours on the phone with a representative and got a refund for the 450. I was looking for a good place to frequently rent a car from. ( Twice a month) I need one for Sunday of this week but don't know if I want to go through all of this to rent a car.

The past 3 times I’ve rented from this Avis location, there were zero cars available when I arrived. On this occasion I called the day before, and I was assured that there would be plenty of cars the next day and there would be no problems with availability. The day of rental they called me in the afternoon and said they had no cars. They made no effort, until I showed up at their office, to get a car from another branch. When I stood in the office and insisted they call, they finally did and found one 45 min away at rush hour. After I decided that would delay our trip too long and left, they called me at home and said one had been turned in & was now available. They gave me 15 minutes to get back to the branch, and said they would lock the doors and not stay a minute longer. This used to be a friendly branch with great availability, but now it’s just become a place where vacation or business travel plans go to be ruined. I plan to pay more and go elsewhere for future car rentals.

I rented a vehicle to go to my dad's funeral. When I returned it I was charged a fee for something that was not on the receipt and it was after the fact of everything being charged with no response from anyone on what it was.

I'm an Uber driver. I'm doing the rental program with Uber thru this company. Last week I rented a vehicle and it said need service and oil change. They said it been done the light should go off . So when I come back a week later to renew the weekly rental I told them it's still on so the made me an appointment to go get it changed then charged my credit card f for it I'm not suspose to pay for maintenance on rentals, they did it without my knowledge. I woke up to a notice they charged my card for the oil change. I'm heated. I will be there at your door this morning. Update: I wasn't charged for an oil change. I was told that even tho I showed up to the due the weekly rental, it wasn't taken care of... Brenden, I think that's right, was a great help and because of that I'm willing to try this one more time and change my rating to a 3 instead of a 1.

You literally cannot call the rental site. I called 17 times and tried every option on their automated device. EVERY time it routes me to corporate reservations and they tell me to call the store.

DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE! They called us less than 24 hours before our pick up time to tell us that the truck (Which we booked WELL in advance) was not available with their resolution being "Tough luck!". You have been warned.

We rented a passenger van from the Mason location for the 3rd year in a row in June and had a good experience as usual. We had an issue come up but Aisha, who must be a manager or owner, worked very hard to resolve the issue for us. She was very attentive and understanding, and seemed to be very sincere in her interest to help us. We are very grateful for her outstanding customer service!

This place is where you want to get your cars from. Aisha is a great lady that follow ups with customer to ensure they get the car that they reserved for.I booked a 12 passenger van and she went above and beyond for me. They didn't have it but she followed up with the vendor to get the car for me ASAP. The van was dirty when it arrived and she cleaned it herself even with me offering to help. This place is amazing and I highly recommend to anyone. Thank you Aisha and the team.

DO NOT rent from this place. Owner tried to give us 2 mini-vans despite us renting a 12 passenger. There's a reason we rented a big van. I had to buy 2 new wipers because the other ones were completely broken. The know to control the rear AC was broken and had to buy a new one before we left. We rented a Ford Transit, but got a Chevy Express. The sliding door wouldn't close all the way and I had to call corporate to resolve this issue. When I returned the van, all I got was a "Thanks for doing that" for fixing the maintenance issues. I shouldn't have to do that. When I returned the van, the kid behind the counter had to call his boss for every question. The customer in front of me had issues, too. Stay away from this place.

I would not recommend ever using this company to rent from. We rented a transit van only to find out on our vacation that the door is broken and when we called the first time we were told that they would look at it when we return. In the meantime, the censor causes the door to beep constantly. We called a second time to be given a 1-800 number and they were to find us an exchange and have yet to hear back. So we are stuck with a broken car with two little children but the lady at the front desks only concern was that we not get sand in the car. When looking at the car, the carpet is coated in sand and her only response was "see it's hard to get out" yet told me multiple times I would be be charged extra if it comes back dirty. They really need to look at who does their cleaning because it was filthy. Rental was not worth the $1600 we spent.

Rent from here often. Very professional and polite. I choose this location because they are always so helpful. I’ve rented both for work and personal use and the cars are always clean, well maintained and my transactions are as smooth as can be. Often in and out within just a couple of minutes. I would recommend them to anyone.

Worst experience I’ve ever had renting anything. Reserved a truck 2 days prior to pickup just to find out that they have no trucks when I drove 40 minutes to pick it up. Asked what location has trucks to rent and they showed no willingness to assist, they just told me to take a seat and they’d get to me later. Terrible customer service, unorganized rentals, and rude.

Horrible customer service and experience.The SUV I rented had clearly either been in an accident or taken off roading at some point and given to me anyway. Horrible vibrations while at highway speed, transmission was extremely clunky, the steering wheel was turned about 22 degrees to the left while driving straight, and it was filthy. I called them immediately and brought the car back. I was told they didn't have any other SUVs available so they gave me a Toyota camry. If it ended here it wouldnt have been the end of the world, but it gets worse.It took the gentleman behind the desk a good 45 minutes to figure out how to transfer the rental agreement to a new vehicle. While I was waiting, a lady came in to pick up her rental. Surprise, surprise they didn't have the vehicle she reserved. While I was standing there they then proceeded to offer her a free upgrade! Right in front of me! They literally rented me a broken vehicle and I was told I'd have to downgrade because of availability, then magically a Ford explorer is available. There was also a Nissan pathfinder and several other SUVs available as I saw them parked and saw their keys hanging, but yet for some reason only a Camry was available for me.This is no way to run a business. It's absurd. I rent vehicles quite often and have never been treated that way. I even over heard him telling his boss on the phone that "I just wasn't pleased with the vehicle". It's not that. It was literally broken.I will never rent from this location again. Absolute nightmare.

I understand that cars are limited at this time, BUT our car was not cleaned. It was FILTHY, in AND out. I also told them at the time that I would NOT be able to get the car back at the time I thought that I thought I would when I rented it, that it would be the next day (they noted it). The car reeked of smoke; when I called to let them know, I was told that I could bring it back, but there was no other cars. I said that I would clean it, and was told that I would be compensated; I took pictures of what all we found. I actually called twice to let them know what all we found (loads of sand, melted candy bars; the original wrapping had not been removed from the door handles and was filthy; mini pads; Gold Bond Cream; crayons and coloring sheets; etc). What bothered me MOST about all of this was the SMOKE. I am HIGHLY allergic to smoke - by the time I got home I had welts, and was itching!!! We clorox wiped the seats, cleaned the carpets and sprayed them with my cleaner, and aired the car. Called Aisha to let her know what we had done. She told me she would compensate us.

Won't be back. Picked up the car when I was in a hurry and never again will I do that. Got home and noticed white dog hair all over the suv trunk area and dog nose prints all over the back windows. Immediately called the customer service line and they told me to just take pictures and show the rental place when I returned it. To top it off on the way to Gatlinburg my 4 yr old discovered a melted chocolate bunny from Easter! It's June how long had that been under the seat! Also no washer fluid in the car so we had to stop and get some. It was completely out! Long story short the lady said she would give me a $20 refund on my $207 bill which I never got! Personally they should pay me since I cleaned it down with lysol wipes. You would think it would be super clean with COVID going on. Place is nasty!
