The folks at Anderson know what customer service really means. I always know that the Anderson staff will either help me find what I need, or they'll tell me where I can go to find it on the rare occasion that they don't have what I'm looking for. I've always been greeted personally when I go into the store. A staff member takes me to the aisle that has the item I need. If I have questions, they are right there with me to answer those questions. This is what a hardware store was meant to be. Thank you for being so good at what you do. Get the personal service that you only get occasionally at the big box home improvement stores.

Took almost 10 minutes to park. Piles of mulch covering most of the parking. Helpful people but didn't have any 12 volt backup sump unless you bought a whole backup system.

If you don't sell snacks and drinks at least have a free bottle of water for contractors. Other than that this place is solid, great customer care here. Top of the line products and tools.

I found of course the hardware I needed. Family owned and operated and always seems to have what I need. While pricing in some areas are not as good as the bigger competitors the service is always the same, very good and wiliness to assist you. I found yesterday more items I can buy if I just walk the aisles which were priced very competitive to the big boxes. You cannot beat local experts that are vested in their own success. Worth the trip and they have been here for decades and normally have stuff you cannot find other places.

Great buy - Craftsman 16 in electric chainsaw for $89. Cut right through two 14 inch wide stumps in my yard in about 2 minutes or so each. Electric saw did the job. Always nice folks there to ready to help.

Ken took the time to make sure we bought the right part to fix the shut-off valve under our sink. Staff there has always been helpful and I've never been pressured into buying something I didn't need to finish a project. Better customer service than the big warehouse stores.

I've only gone in here a couple of times to buy water softener pellets. The staff is always so quick to help me and they always have someone help me load it into the car. They are wonderful. I feel comfortable going in there and asking any employee to help me without hesitation like most businesses.

A few months ago I had bought a couple Stanley Bailey hand planes from eBay and need to restore them. I needed Evaporust, but for whatever reason, Lowe’s doesn’t carry it. I decided to try Anderson Ace Hardware as it’s a short drive away.From the second I walked in the door, I was greeted and asked how I could be helped. They lead me right to what I needed. I also casually walked through the store to see what else they had on the shelves.It was refreshing to see several Stanley made products on the shelves, along with several types of items you don’t normally see on the shelves of the big box stores.Since then, I’ve always made the effort to go to this location whenever I needed something that wasn’t lumber. They’re super helpful and have always greeted me as I walked in the door. Matter of fact, as the older gentleman scanning my items today at the register, he asked what kind of project I was finishing up and then complimented the items I purchased for the project I described.If you’re looking for a smaller hardware store with that hometown feeling, this is your place. In the 6-7 times of stopping by, I’ve never had a <5 star experience.

I was told the mulch I will order can be delivered on Thursday and I schedule the service. When I come to the store. Next day around 6:00 a young lady hold a dog leash was just cold and stiff she interrupted the conversation rudely and said only can deliver next week. Well I was very happy for an old man helped me and he was super nice I hope he can train this young lady to know little better about courteous manner . Anyway it’s still a nice place expect maybe wrong person for doing the service.

Over a year ago I pirchased a spare FOB for our Toyota RAV4. Recently the device failed to start the car but would still lock and unlock it. The lady associate, Jen, took the FOB apart and changed the battery but to no avail. Jen called the company who made it and went over some steps. Long story short thr tFOB had lost its programming. Jen took the time to re-program it and the FOB started the car again. She handed it back to me and said "no charge". Went to the parking lot, started the car and drove off. Stopped and another store and shut the car down. Went to restart it again before I left and it would not start. I called Jen back and told her what happened and let her know how much I appreciated the effort she had put into it for an out-of-warranty purchace. I told her I would probably purchase one from the Toyota dealer. About 20 minutes later Jen called back and said she spoke the the manufacturer and she was getting a free replacement sent to the store and would contact me as soon as it came in. I absolutely floored at the customer service Jen provided. This is nearly non-existent in retail today and Ace (aka Anderson Hardware) is to be commended for this! Thank you Jen from the bottom of my heart.

Our screws for our mail box fell off. I can in , was welcomed. The gentleman asked what could he do for me. He not only took meback to the screws, he found the correct size I needed. It would have taken me forever to find what I needed. Very friendly, very helpful!

Best place to buy quality bulk mulch for your landscaping. $36 per cubic yard and three cubic yard will fill a full sized Chevy 8 foot bed truck mounded on top.Bring a tarp or bed sheet and bricks to cover so some doesn't blow away on your drive back home. 😉I always come here for bulk mulch, every year that I remulch the landscaping at the house.

Fantastic place to stop for standard home repair items. The selection isn't massive but everything is reasonable priced and there is always someone ready to help answer questions.Be sure to say "Hi" to the residential cat, Ace. Super friendly, usually naps around paint or on lawn furniture.

It was a Saturday and I needed to get some cut glass for cabinet that we had accidentally broken the glass in. First tried the big box stores, but of course none of them would offer the service of cutting a pain of glass to fit.I then remembered that I had always had good experiences at the Mason Anderson Ace hardware store. I called, and yes indeed they do cut glass. I told them I would be up in about 45 minutes. when I arrived it turned out that the person running the register was the person that I had talked to on the phone. He asked me what size I told him and he immediately dropped what he was doing and went back and cut the sheet of glass for me.When I brought it home and took it and put it into the cabinet it fit perfectly. I so appreciate this hardware store and its ability to go above and beyond and provide service that the big box stores have dropped somewhere along the way.

My favorite mom and pop hardware. Will gladly stop by here versus the big box stores. You are greeted upon entering every time and help is always ready and available. You can be in and out of here faster than it takes to just find someone to talk to at Lowe's or Home Depot.

It was my first time visiting this store as I am new to the area. The lady in the paint department was very rude to me when I tried to return the $40 gallon of paint she had sold me the previous day because it was too light. I had wanted a smaller can, but of course she couldn’t do that. She did not offer any other help or suggestions and insisted she was right and I was wrong. So much for customer service. I will never go back there again.

This is a very clean and well organized store. I went in to have a key made. The Man made my key and helped other customers at the register. He was very quick and efficient. I would recommend this store for all your hardware needs.

This is one of my favorite hardware stores. Why? Because its an actual family owned independent store that cares every time you walk in. Their staff knows exactly where everything is, even if you're looking for something as small as a reverse threaded numbered screw that only fits one thing. They are that good in my book.

The owner of this business is a terrible operator . I am in the retail business and i will do anything to satisfy my customers. I Purchased a box of spax screws. Paid 25% more than elsewhere. I did not get a bit for my screws. Normaly, the box comes with a free bit inside. So i went back to get my free bit. The owner said NO. I have to pay for it. She charged me $2 for the bit. I paid it because i have tried other bits and they did not work. I tried to explain my situation to the owner .....she said i cannot just get a free bit. I have spent over $500 at this location this month alone. EVERYTHING IS OVER PRICED. Every year, i buy trucks of mulch from this owner. You lost a valuable customer over a $2 bit which suppose to be free.

Ok, here's the deal. You will pay more but here's what you get...20 ft walk to the door from parking, personalized help from the staff and they have most everything you'll need for the home. You won't walk half a mile through the store like Home Depot.

Thought I found a nice little neighborhood hardware store and went there 4 times yesterday . Did not even mind their price can go 50% higher than big box stores.But later in the evening I found a deformed tail piece caused leaking under the sink . The gap between it and other parts siphoned out down draining water just through capillary action under no water pressure. For heat moulded plastic piece , stuff like that happens right? Since they were closed. I went to Home Depot to get another tail piece and fixed the leak .Thought they will at least gave me store credit for a defect product. I bought along a shopping list other parts . But the store owners - I guess they are the Andersons-turned me down .they said as it was cut to fit and they can not resell it so no refund of any sort . I was shock to hear their logic . Isn’t a store supposed to take back the defect product ? instead they are thinking of selling a $4 pipe that might cause massive water damage with a customer already report the consequence of instant leak and cost of hours of extra labor.They refused the $4 return , I am taking my hundred $ shopping list to Home Depot. Not time to go penny and dime with a mom and pop shop .Mind you all the stuff branded “Ace” are made in China , marked up probably 50 times. Not old time “made locally “ stuff.I posted the picture. The pipe has one side is squished flat , not round.
