Gena is wonderful and caring. She has been doing our dogs nails since he had a bad hooked nail digging into his pad. She is very gentle with him and has helped keep is from hurting him again. He has gotten 2 baths from Gena and both times he is calm and comes home so soft and happy. As a white thin coat dog, he has sensitive skin and Gena makes sure to make sure he gets conditioner and good quality products. I wont take him anywhere else!

Gena always does a great job with my 3 dogs, a yorkie and 2 poodle mixes. The dogs always look great after their groom! The dogs do not come home acting anxious either! I would highly recommend.

I am so glad that I found The Captivating Canine Spa! Gena has created a calm, safe environment that is wonderful for anxious dogs like mine. Unlike other places, she focuses on one dog at a time, keeping the appointment length shorter and stress-free. My dog consistently comes home looking and smelling great, at a very reasonable price. Gena was recommended by a friend after we had a few unfortunate grooming experiences with our doodle. Despite starting grooming as a puppy, my pup has become anxious about grooming after a few bad experiences with groomers who were more focused on efficiency than ensuring my pup had a good experience.Gena allowed us to visit a week before the actual grooming appointment which helped immensely. And on grooming day, my pup did great! Gena was calm, patient and gentle with her, and I have no reservations about returning (despite the 45-minute drive from Columbus to Marysville).I also appreciate that Gena doesn’t use a bunch of potent sprays after grooming and I love the scent of the shampoo she uses. Even after a few days of dog daycare, my pup smells good and has a super soft coat.

Gena is amazing with my very anxious mini-aussie. He gets so excited to see her! Gena is very knowledgeable about grooming and knows what to do/not do with different breeds. Olis always comes home smelling and looking great. Communication is also awesome with reminders via text and communication about when to pick up! Very highly recommend!

The service here is impeccable. Binx comes home with the softess coat and she loves Gena. No more tail between her legs as she gets groomed - this is awesome! Good quality of care and cost. I drive over an hour to this little shop. She is the best!

Gena is amazing! I have known her for years and worked with her as a dog bather for a while so I have seen her work magic with dogs of all shapes, sizes and temperments and she is fantastic to say the very least! She is super patient and very loving to all of the dogs that she works with.
