This location has great customer service! The staff is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful when you have questions. We are very happy with the quality of service we have received. We just added a guinea pig to our family. We already have a dog and cat: both were rescues. We are over the moon with our selection of a guinea pig. The staff was attentive and courteous when we were considering this new little addition. They assisted with the materials and supplies that we would need initially and they had great information about daily, weekly, and monthly care needs. We feel like we now know what the care expectations will be now and in the future. We know that we have made a knowledgeable decision that fits the needs for our family and our newest little family member.

We went in 15 minutes before closing for a very quick purchase but needed advice when we went in. We ended up making two purchases before leaving. The friendliness and helpfulness was just as quality as ever. Although, I do apologize for being a late customer. We got the excellent help we needed in an extremely timely manner as always. In about 10 minutes, we were in and out with more than we planned on, but left extremely satisfied.

Very helpful staff. They were wonderful with my not quite 2 y old grandson. Great place to pick out some pond fish. Nice set up with dog bathing station. I think it's wonderful they work with pet promise to adopt out rescue cats. So glad they came to town.

Place looked nice and seemed to have a nice selection of pet supplies. It was my first time there. I was getting a beta fish for my sister for her birthday. The staff was friendly but didn't seem to be that knowledgeable about my questions regarding taking care of a beta. That's the main reason there getting 4 stars and not 5. Other then that it was all in all a positive experience.

My son and I absolutely love this place. I have a four year old boy who has my love of all creatures. The staff and the manager there are simply amazing in the patience they have with son and his constant desire to touch and play with all the critters they have. They always take the time to teach him all about the different things he is playing with. They have even let us watch as they feed some of the lizards and frogs! I am so grateful to have this store in our little town and to have it staffed with such friendly, knowledgeable people. The manager even took the time to help pick out the perfect harness and seat belt set for my little dog Lucy!

I so enjoy visiting this store! I recently purchased a bearded dragon here. The employees were very knowledgeable about all of the animals and were very willing to help me get started with my new pet. The employees are also friendly and polite every time I visit. I love that I've found such a great place that has the pet supplies I need!

Sadly disappointed in the condition of this store. Everytime I am in this store it is really dirty and messy. Most animals need cages cleaned, water, and food. The poor rescue cats in the front of the store are really mistreated as well. I informed the employee one had gotten sick, both litter boxes needed cleaned, they both needed fresh water and food. She said they are not responsible for them only the rescuers who bring them in can take care of this. That is animal abuse and shame on that employee for waiting on someone else to come in and take of it all. She should have been proactive and just done it herself. I am sure she would have had it been her own, or I would at least hoped she would. This store needs caring employees, better cleanliness, and care for all the animals in this store.

I was interested in adopting a cat they have in the store. I asked if I could interact with the cat before making any decision. They refused to unlock the cat crate. I was told that the vice president of the store is coming to visit and they don't want to take any chance since they don't own the cat and the adoption is through another organization. I was not sure what they meant by that.If you are not trained or prepare to have pet in the store for adoption then please do not hold these pets in your store. These pets are in the crates all day and I would hope that they are not in the crates all night as well. How can one adopt these pets without an opportunity to interact, hold them, play with them, etc? I would think that they would encourage and support any chance that these pets will find their forever home and end their day of crate confinement.

I was in need of a heated mat for my out door pets and by chance decided to stop here. I was very surprised when I ask the manager if he had them and he directed me over to several different sizes. Pet Valu has alot of different items that you can't find at other pet stores. Definitely recommend shopping Pet Valu first before looking online or driving to someplace further. I've found all the associates to be helpful and this saves me alot of time.

We went today to get our two shelties groomed as we had heard PetValu offered tubs for bathing. Our experience there was great. Staff members jumped to our assistance, made sure we had everything we needed and showed us how to use the tubs and tools. We had forgotten our brush at home and wanted to buy one, they let us pick one out, use it first and then pay for it after we were finished which was a huge help. The cost to bath was $10 per dog, and let me tell you, after spending about $120 at the groomers that is a good deal to not have to clean up a giant mess in your own home. Everything was convenient (shampoo, dryer, scrub brush, towels) and we were able to bathe our two shelties at once in one tub which was very spacious. Overall I'd definitely recommend, at least based on our experience today.

Great selection of unique items for all pets. It did have an odd odor inside, perhaps from the ferrets they had, not sure. Staff was very nice and helpful!

Great place, I buy crickets, mice, and whatever from there. Super friendly staff, I come in often that they know my order for crickets lol. Its always clean and the animals seem well kept.

The only pet shop in Marysville and everytime I go there to get crickets, I love to look around and pet the animals.They only let me down one time and were out of crickets when I really needed them, but other than that, the place is good, the employees are good, and they have a dog wash.

Always under stocked and WAAAY overpriced! Thank God they do price match. I blame myself for continuing to go there, there just isn't anywhere else. It saddens me because they have a really good opportunity to offer better prices and better selection, with little to ZERO competition. Instead they over charge and take full advantage of it in EVERYWAY! Not to mention the animals they carry are very sickly and come from questionable sources.

This place is expensive. 3 parakeets in a small cage. The cage is made for 1 bird but even that is sad. I went there twice @ different times. The birds were still stuck in the awful cage. When I said something I was told the cage can hold up to 6 birds. Wish I could share the picture I took.😭💔

Every time I go in there to buy fish there are multiple dead fish in the tanks so I never buy. Until I went in there with my daughter last week An she was adamant About getting a new fish so I bought one took it home an less than a week later it wiped out all my fish but three I'm very disappointed all they had to say about it was my water levels are wrong that's why all my fish died but I never had that problem before so I left pissed off an they lost my business.

I was in the store and came across the better that was in very little water and the water was very very dirty and in bad condition I purchased this beta simply to save it and I still have it to this day but it had a fin rot and a few other illnesses I called back today to see if they had a certain item in stock and customer service representative was very rude

The prices are average and the selection is somewhat small but the workers here are great and having a dog bath is extremely useful for those of us that have large dogs.

I HAVE BEEN TO JACK'S PETS SEVERAL TIMES OVER THE LAST YEAR AND THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN VERY HELPFUL . THEY HELPED ME SET UP A SMALL AQUARIUM AND IT HAS BEEN DOING VERY WELL . IT IS A SMALL STORE BUT THEY SEEM TO BE TAKING GOOD CARE OF THEIR PETS . BETTER THAN SOME OF THE LARGER STORES I HAVE VISITED IN COLUMBUS . THE STORE HAS ALWAYS BEEN VERY CLEAN WHEN I HAVE BEEN IN THERE AS WELL .I THINK THE STAFF THERE DOES A GOOD JOB
