Very friendly doggy day care and grooming spot. Easy to schedule online. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I like that they had a free evaluation to see if my dog would be ok in daycare. We have a grooming appointment coming up and he's going to daycare next week. Very reasonable rates. We drove by this place forever on the way to school glad we are finally customers.

What an awesome experience! Very friendly staff, so kind and they fully explained everything as this was the first visit for my 7 month old mini Bernedoodle. Kelly did a wonderful groom on Emma and I am so pleased. I highly recommend this business for your pet’s grooming. You won’t be disappointed….

Absolutely love taking my dogs to OUAT for grooming. The front desk staff is friendly, the establishment is clean. The groomers are absolute gems, they double and triple check to make sure they understand exactly how you want your dog(s) groomed, they are always attending programs to contine education, they go above and beyond to make sure your pets are safe and comfortable. If you haven't done so take a look at their Instagram and Facebook to see just how much they love what they do.

I have been going to Once Upon A Tail every 6 weeks for almost two years now. Always an amazing experience with both dogs. Mini Schnauzer and a Doodle. These folks actually care about your dog as much as we all do ourselves. I have been to other groomers and the dogs are extremely stressed out afterwards. So not the case here. The dogs actually like going to get groomed and interacting with the ladies that work there. I’m always hesitant who I leave my dogs with but trust these folks like family with the dogs. I highly recommend!!

Would NOT recommend! We just moved to town with our 10 month old Golden doodle, we had a groomer from where we previously lived that she had been to 3 times prior with no problems at all. We take her to this place told them we just wanted a trim, they shave her almost balled, then called me 3 hours later to say they cut her leg. My exact words were "how bad is it and is she bleeding out" the groomer laughed and said "no it's just a small cut", she would just wrap it up so hair doesn't get in it. I go to pick up, what used to be a fluffy puppy is now shaved down completely with her leg wrapped up. I get her home and take the bandage off the next day and find out it's a HUGE gash on her leg. The owner and groomer are incompetent and should not have agreed to groom our puppy if they didn't know how.

I have had my dog groomed here twice and both times had a great experience. He looks great, wasn’t scared going in, and the entire groom only took 4-5 hours. They kept me updated and even sent me a picture when he was finished. He’s 75lbs and still a puppy (so very wiggly) and I’ve never noticed any nicks, cuts, or nails cut too short. Over all, I would absolutely recommend Once Upon a Tail for grooming!

Bruno absolutely loves doggy daycare, he is always so exhausted when we pick him up from his full day, we drive a little over 30 minutes to take him here and he can barley keep his eyes open on the drive back home! He has so much fun! The staff is nice as well. I 100% recommend and will continue to bring him!

Wonderfully staff. Both Kelly and Brooke are top notch groomers. Eric has always checked in my pup and takes great care of him. My dog has been going to them since he had his final round of shots (so 3 months old, he is now 10 months), and as much as I dreaded raising a puppy, the daycare taught me the meaning of a tired pup is a great pup. To top it off, they give me a discount for paying 5 days up front, and have lower pricing than any other groomer in the area. Come Friday he is always sparkling white and smells fantastic. If you have a dog your hurting yourself by not going to once upon a tail. This picture is one sent by them as a reply to a message to check on my pup on facebook because I had a bad day and was stuck at work, and just asking how is he doing, they went as far to send me a picture of him and said "take your time. He misses you, but life happens"

Great, consistent service with everything they offer. Pups always look their best after every groom. Daycare, they have a blast. Boarding is like a vacation for the pups and you never have to worry about their safety. The staff love them like their own.

Akira had his first fullgroom today and believe me when I say I absolutely love the haircut. They followed everything we had asked and took care of everything very well. We even were able to get some great feedback on his behavior and also some great tips on grooming at home as well. Definitely recommend them for a good experience for you and your furry friend.

I normally don't have complaints about once upon a tail but this time and last they didn't listen to what I wanted. Last time the groomer didn't trim the area that I asked and this time they gave a bath that I didn't want and charged me for it. Than told me for next time to get a coupon for $ 10 off a bath off of Facebook. I think that the bath should be free since they charged me for something I specifically said that I didn't want.

I’ve gotten my dogs groomed by Kelly for several years and she takes great pride in her work as I can attest to the way my fur babies look when she is done with their grooming. My dogs literally love going to her. Her employees are kind and very helpful. I would highly recommend this business to anyone who needs their dogs groomed or for doggy daycare

Phenomenal service! I bring Thor there for half days, incredibly reasonable price and he gets tired out for a few days after! He has been making friends there it seems. Sometimes I have him get a quick grooming whilst there as well.

I have been taking the dog here fora few times. Always have done a great job. Today was like a visit three times before. Appointment set for noon at 2:10 Rainy still isnt ready for pick up.The owner didn't like to be questioned about keeping the dog so long. She even said I cussed. What the heck has taken so long? She wouldn't answer my question and told me not to come back. Uh! I wonder now how well the animals are being treated when she didn't have the patience to explain the situation.

Look else where!!! Someone said "reasonable priced grooms" idk what they're talking about but it is not this business. Service is terrible, women working in there are rude and have terrible attitudes. Took 5 hours to groom our dog and we had to call to see if he was ready. Bring him home and he has his head in the water bowl for 10 minutes scarfing down water. Who knew a dog may need water sooner than 5 hours. This all came for a lovely price of $95. No cash tip but do your business a favor and read this review as it may be the best tip you've ever recieved.

For the most part I’ve had great experiences at once upon a tail. With that being said, the staff can be a little rude especially in the mornings. But the main reason I’m writing this review is because I’ve been told 3 different answers on their policies on their full / half day. Very unprofessional and not the way you keep a client / customer. We’re moving on to Four Paws as of 9/2/22.PS ( This has absolutely nothing to do with the $ amount. It’s about being consistent and keeping your clients happy )

Horrible. We called a month in advance to schedule our dog for boarding. He’s been here a few times previously and we thought everything was fine. The day before we where supposed to drop our dog off we tried to contact somebody there to confirm drop off the following morning. Finally someone contacted us that evening and was informed they didn’t even have a reservation for him. We got It scheduled and thought we where good to go when we received a text message from the “manager” at 7pm saying they won’t be able to accommodate our dog. No apologies or response was given to my message concerning the confusion.

They cut our puppy under her leg and her nails scratched our little girls face tonight. Upon inspection they are not smooth or sanded. I don’t believe they were even trimmed as they were supposed to do. Actually there is some white substance like a super glue? Looks like they cut too deep on her nails. Wouldn’t recommend this place. We can buzz her and sand her nails.
