By a referral of someone we we took our boxer here because we were not satisfied with other vet services for many reasons. I can tell you everything went so well with him !! He did so well with everyone they all treated him sooo well. The vet was caring with him !! He was so pleased getting all the treats they gave him !! lol Our 1st visit was so great !! Try them out !!

Never before has a vet actually refused to give my pets rabies and distemper vaccines but Redwood did today. I brought in my 2 cats to get a checkup and vaccines as my new home is going to have a dog door installed very soon. Their reason for refusing to give my cats vaccines were "they were too sick and the vaccine wouldnt be fully effective and potentially dangerous to my cats." How sick are they you might wonder- well one lost half a pound in the last year (his weight has always fluctuated and considering we just moved and just got a new dog he has been really stressed out) and last time he was in his labs showed that he had NORMAL BUT SLIGHTLY ELEVATED kidney values. Ok so basically normal numbers and slight weight loss and refusal to vaccinate. My other cat sneezed ONE TIME and had a little hardness in his belly that the vet said "might just be stool." The girl said "your cat wasn't sneezing last time" LOL he sneezed once! I've had this fat cat for ten years now and he sneezes sometimes. Charged me 130 bucks for them to weigh my cats , give me a tube of medicine to clean their ears, and refuse to give them necessary vaccines. My new place is having a dog door installed very soon (as we told the vet) and when that happens there will be no stopping them from going into the back yard (enclosed in a fence) where those vaccines will be potentially life saving for the cats and the people living here too. Its funny- last year when I was living in an apartment and the cats were strictly indoor they actually told me "its illegal to not get your cats rabies shots" because I didn't want to get the vaccinated. Now when I go in asking for vaccines they tell me they won't do it until I get the nearly $500 worth of testing they prescribed. I was going to schedule an appointment for my dog when I went in but I'll be finding a new overpriced vet.

The veterinarians were so lovely the entire time and so easy to communicate with, i was a little worried going in that it would be very strict and nerve wracking but everyone was so nice! I will definitely be coming back more and i cannot recommend them enough. Very reasonable price for everything as well!!

THANK goodness we found this Veterinarian and her staff after our former Vet retired. I have NEVER encountered such thorough care for any of our dogs in 35 years. The receptionist actually types notes about your dog while you're talking with her on the phone to relay to Dr. Wood.That's not even done with humans for humans. I highly recommend this clinic, vet and very caring and polite staff. I can't say anything negative about RedWood Veterinary Clinic in Martins Ferry, Ohio. I hope this place is open for a very long time.

Amazing staff , got my animals in very fast , handled my large dog great and knew exactly what to do for my sick cat . She is very intelligent and walked me threw everything that was wrong with my cat not pushy on selling items meds etc . Finally found the perfect vet for my animals .

Professional and caring staff, they were the absolute best when it came time to have to make the hardest decision ever. But the amount of time and comfort they gave us was unmatched. We spent countless moments with our girl before we had to let her go. Would recommend above all within the Ohio valley.

Always take great care of my cats. Every 4 or 5 weeks my one cat gets bacterial infection. If she's not set up for something she sends us to an excellent vet in Little Washing PA with all the info needed. The two of them work excellent. My other cat had an infected tooth and the Doctor pulled it and cleaned up all her other teeth. She did a great job You can see the love she has for animals. All her associates are excellent alsoI wouldn't take my precious fur babies anywhere else.

It's all about money with these people...my dog's left leg seemed to be out of socket or a severe muscle pull..took her to these people...and even though there was no one on the waiting room...they wanted to charge me 70 dollars exam charge and 92 dollars emergency fee..picked my pup up and left..never going back to these greedy people..

I appreciated how thorough they were. While I would not say my last vet was by any means bad, the people here went further and were more thorough than the other ones. Great place with kind people

My dog was very sick couldn't breathe needed to get him in right away. It's a very hard decision you have to make to have your dog euthanized my baby was gasping for air and I was told they didn't have an appointment available for week and a half. In my opinion if you say you love animals you would not let one suffer. That was a week ago today I got a call from them telling me to remind me of my appointment on Thursday. I am a very nice person but I didn't feel very nice at that particular moment and I told them I found a veterinarian who would take an animal it was gasping for air so I didn't feel they deserved any stars in my opinion. I treat my fur baby as if they were a real baby

On vacation. Dog had a UTI couldn’t get anyone to see her. Redwood got us in the afternoon. My 3rd dog and can tell you as good as any vet I have been to. Great techs! Friendly! And even though from out of town following up with me and regular vet! Gave us food to help her eat too!

Flea was given a thorough exam and testing; treatment options explained clearly; I was called next day with lab results. Flea is a very shy dog and all staff were very gentle and reassuring with her.

Took my 8 week old German Rottie for first appt he’s shy and they made him feel welcome and coaxed him out from under chair he hates the masks people have to wear now a days but they got him to get used to them very quickly now he loves the treats and attention from them and receptionist was very nice and helpful was a very enjoy full experience for Tank and I

My fur baby has been ill with allergys,they have been so compassion with Aspen the staff is great and really show the care Dr. Wood is great and so is Amanda calling checking daily until my fur b aby started feeling better I RECOMMEND everyone to take their dog or cats they are great
