This Kroger's location is sufficient of course however it's not my favorite location to me it is set up in an odd way compared to other Krogers in the area it can make it a little bit difficult to find products. It's also a bit smaller and they don't carry everything that I'm used to seeing in the majority of the Kroger stores but overall like I said it's sufficient has everything you're really going to need and they seem to be properly staffed with friendly employees

Had to leave a review of my shopping there yesterday well i have never been treated as good as I was then..this employee was stocking items by register and she helped put items my items on the counter..she helped the lady before me and I thought bc this lady could use extra help and no she helped me and was so kind and then they still have baggers..i just recently moved back to Wv. From Pa. And every store up there the ppl r so darn rude its like how do still have a job smh and ppl in Martinsferry Krogers were so kind I will be back and if they had an option for more stars I would leave it so shout out to all the employee at Krogers Martins Ferry Thank you

absolute worst and laziest employees. elderly and handicapped people i seen go to checkout while cashiers talk with one another and not help, not the cleanest place by a longshot.

This little Krogers get absolutely hammered by customers! They do a good job for what they have to deal with.. always pretty well stocked...what can you do about pricing? Nothing..I'd like to see the milk on sale like everyone else...but they keep it clean after the dregs that come in there

Staff is rude, inconsiderate and shouldn’t be in any position to assist anyone. On Wednesday 3/2/2022, after a busy day of work and running errands, I stopped at this store at 945, to grab a couple items. An associate announced over the intercom the store was closing in 15 minutes. 5 minutes later this insane associate began following costumers around, screeching the store is closing and you need to check out now. She continued to harass costumers and other staff at the self checkout stating “pack this stuff and put it in the buggy”, not caring that the elderly gentleman’s light items had been placed on the bottom of the cart and the heavy items were being placed on top of the cart. As for me I will not be going to this store, even if it’s the only one open within a 50 mile radius. Someone from management needs to watch the footage and deal with your animals as seen fit! Get a grip on your store and staff.

Always love shopping here but lately on sale items aren't stocked I go for certain items but have to go to another store to get them but I will still shop here it's my local Kroger's I definitely like giving my money to local businesses our area is already loosing to much as it is so definitely shop local and I've always loved shopping at this Kroger

Easy to get there from route 7. Was able to quickly get in and out of there with a few items. This was the goal that day. People seemed friendly in check out line. Only thing missing was a smaller amount for a toys r us gift card. Other gift card options seemed good.

I have never had a problem with my digital coupons. They did not come off of my purchase this time. I went to the service desk to correct the issue. The girls fixed what I pointed out. When I got home I had discounts that were still not deducted from my purchase. I have been a loyal Kroger customer since I was a teenager. My mother retired from Kroger. I will not stop shopping there because of this issue, but is is frustrating.

Go here all the time. Good customer service when needed. Although I do despise the new self checkout machines! Lol they're horrible.. The repetitiveness and the woman literally saying every single thing you scan and the price and amount.. Oh its awful. I still use them BC I'm always in a rush and never want to wait in line.. So they are convenient.. But still awful

Many customers and employees not wearing masks, putting the "at risk" at risk. And already a disappointment due to a much needed remodel. I worry for my father who shops here and it's the closet store to his home.

Been shopping there for years. Never had any problems. If something would come up they handled it rigjt away. Everyone is very friendly. If I can't find something, they always help me find it. They will even go in the back to see if they have any left. I do the biggest part of my shopping at Martins Ferry.

THEY SAY OPEN AT 7AM. BUT AFTER WORKING ANOTHER 12 HOUR SHIFT THIS WEEK I STOPPED AT 730AM AND COULDNT EVEN GET IN THE DOOR FROM BEING LOCKED INSIDE TO GET A COUPLE THINGS LIKE MILK, DOGFOOD, BREAD, AND SOME EGGS. BUT NO ITS OK. I WENT SOMEWHERE ELSE AND JUST GOT DOG FOOD! And thanks to the old blonde at the self checkout for staring at me trying to get in but the door was not budging like her.

All in all a good a good store. Only complaint is the cameras. I tried to fake a slip and fall to make a quick buck and they caught me. After, they tried to prosecute me for absolutely no reason. 5 stars.

This evening the store was very crowded, but yet every single shopping cart was outside, there was not 1 single one inside to get on the way in and you have employees bored out of their minds leaned over resting their heads in their hands. I think there was 1 gentleman headed out to get buggies as I was leaving.

found everything I need. If they don't have it they do try to get it for me. Also, gluten free food is expensive and if I am not sure how something will taste and don't want to pay the high price the manager has comp'd it for me and just asked me to let her know how it is. great place to shop.

I love this Kroger in my little town! They don't have much in comparison to other Kroger stores, which isn't great, but all of the employees have always been super friendly to me and I really like that. That in itself makes me keep going back to shop there!

Meat Dept. why is your hamburger turning brown not even 2 hours after getting home? This food store is the worse store I have ever had to deal with and a Food Lion would be better!

I shopped there Wednesday morning and that is when thier new specials for the week start. At least 2 things I bought were still priced at last week's prices on the shelves so I ended up paying a higher price. Also over charged on a chicken I bought by almost 6 dollars.

This has been my default grocery store for over 20 years. Kroger has plenty of options and you can get pretty much anything you would expect from a grocery store. Although it has been remodeled, it doesn’t have the same layout as most Ohio Valley Kroger stores. There is plenty of parking spots, but you can walk a distance if it is a busy day. Although they have public restrooms, you have to go through the employee break-room. Phil (one of the longtime employees) always greets me and asks about my day. I’ll continue to go to Kroger - unless a competitor builds a store next door with an online order pick-up option. (Visited: 100+ times)

It's a Kroger. Not a very big one, but you get good food and service from. I personally didn't need any help, but random people walked up to the staff and immediately got fast and friendly help. It's a good place.

Went in to do western union and the lady was not customer friendly.i have done western union 100s of time and I wanted to use a certain account 1 of 3 I have 2 with the same phone number for reward porposes.all and all she was a crouch.

Did a google search for dry ice near me. The people at this Kroger had no clue what dry ice even is. They said they worked here for several years and have never sold dry ice

This store is always out of everything. Almost every time I come here I have to go to another store too. Also, they only have self checkout in the evenings, which is when I have to shop. Which means I can’t get a lot of items without it becoming a nightmare bagging everything.
