I love shopping in this toy store. Lots of toys remind me of my own childhood 40+ years ago with a great mix of the newer stuff! Very knowledgeable staff who take the time to educate us on the remote controlled cars and trains! I'll continue to spend my money here!

Hands down the BEST you shop for hours around! The staff is amazing! We'll never forget the first time we stopped. The owner was closing up for the day but graciously took us in and showed us around. He was just the best! This toy shop is now a family tradition each time we come down to see the lights. And best of all there are sooo many interesting toys you can't find in the box stores! My whole family just love this store!

It's been about 5 years since the last time I was in there. It recently came to my mind because I am on the hunt for a specific toy from the mid 2000s.That aside, this store is absolutely amazing! There is for sure something for EVERYONE! I could spend 5+ hours in there looking, reminiscing, and spending tons of money. A hidden, lesser know gem. There aren't many places like this around anymore.The last time we stopped in we had a big group, 3 adults and 3 kids and we got there with about 30 minutes till closing and the man at the counter (possibly the owner?) Welcomed us all in very happily and even stayed open about an extra hour to allow us to get a good look over of the whole store. He even gave us a tour and lost of information. We made quite a few purchases. One of the items I still, to this day, tinker with myself. I couldn't say enough good things about the store and am planning our next visit for the near future!

My husband and I shop here for the holidays every year. The kids love the toys they receive and they actually have the real deal toys that doesn't break in a week. The owners and workers are all very nice and that truly is the main reason we bring our business back time after time.

This is like Toys-R-Us now that they’re closed… except the service is better and the people and friendlier! I take my two daughters here almost once a week. They love the Calico Critters and MAN do these guys have EVERY Calico Critter toy ever made! They have lots of other toys, my youngest loves Paw Patrol and my husband loves Transformers… they have it all! This place is heaven on Earth!!!

We make this an annual visit each year. This store is amazing!! We come down to Oglebay Christmas lights and always stop here. Anything you want to buy is there . It is multi floors and each floor is a delight. It has a very large Train section and the displays are always fun to look at. The owners have been there for a long time and we look forward to seeing them each year! Plan to spend some time in this store because it is so fun to walk through each area! Thanks for offering us lots of memories. We wouldn't miss this store!!!

Our first time going. Went in thinking it was just a little toy store but the floors of options are wonderful. My kiddo got a all metal shopping cart, it was affordable, and stands tough. I love how they have something for every age. We will be back soon

I love Deluxe Toy&Hobby, they are super friendly always ask if they can help or if they can take your things to the counter until your ready to checkout. They have little play centers for kids to play at an basically test drive some toys and my daughter loves to sit and play at the animals and calico critters. I have always loved this store and try to make a trip down a few times a year, its amazing! The prices can be a high on some things but i dont mind because its such a great place, and such friendly people!!

There is so much I want to say about this store, the people who work there and the owners. It was my first trip to this hidden gem but I can tell you that it won’t be my last. Walking in you are greeted by employees when you walk and I felt like I was walking into Fao Schwarz. With three floors to look through there something for kids of all ages, even those who are just young at heart and there are employees to help you on every floor. The owner made his way around and greeted us as well. There are new toys and toys that take you on a nostalgic trip back through your own childhood. I thought the prices were very reasonable and well worth being able to buy my favorite childhood toys for my niece and nephew. There were some lovely ladies working on the 3rd floor, who made some great suggestions, they also made sure our hands were free to continue shopping by carrying things we had selected down to the register for us. I love this place and can’t wait to go back again. I can see why they’ve been in business for 65+ years and I hope they are in business for more generations to come. If you don’t make a trip here once in your life, your missing out.

My wife has gone here since she was a child! This was my first time going there, WOW!!!! Most incredible toy shopping experience I've ever had. The staff was knowledgeable of all the items we asked and were super helpful in finding items for all the people on our Christmas list, including myself, a new Carrera slot car track is in my future!!! We will make this a new Christmas tradition, even though we will have to drive from Washington DC!

Love to take my kids there. Bought a lot of Thomas the train toys from there for many christmas gifts. Staff is really nice and helpful. The selection of toys is huge! I like to go in from time to time myself just to browse the different floors of toys.

When I was a little boy, every time we came to see my grandparents, my grandmother would spoil me by walking with me uptown to always get a new toy or game until I was around 14/15. I'm now in my late 40's which shows the last time I was in the store. Probably 1988/1989. Most of my relatives have either passed away or moved away from Martins Ferry. The next time I visit my aunt in Bellaire I'll be sure to stop by again the next time I'm in the valley. Some of the happiest childhood memories in that store.

This is the best toy store around! They have a huge selection (three floors!!) of both modern and classic toys. The staff is always very knowledgeable and helpful too.The prices are mostly comparable to the big box stores. Though they do trend towards the higher end of the spectrum, it's worth it for their experience and to support a local business.

This place is pretty cool, they have everything, old toys and newer toys. There are also three floors which is pretty cool, I've never seen a place like this. I really like it. The people working there are really nice too, I was looking for an item and they didnt have it on the shelves so the guy went and looked in the back for it which I appreciated.
