I hate to give away details about this hidden gem but this old world meat market near Orrville, Ohio, has the best selection and best quality sausage in addition to every other meat you can think of and a small grocery section. It's in a very rural area but yet only 15-20 miles from the Akron Canton Massillon suburbs. I drive here from the Columbus area every year and have been going here for 40 years.

Wowza!! What don't they have? AMAZING!This small village shop has it all. Specializing in all sorts of beef, pork and chicken cuts - I highly recommend this place. You wont be disappointed with a trip to this one in a million shop!

I have been coming here sense i was a kid. And when ever I come in yo Northeast Ohio, i have to stop here when i can. I love the fact that nothing has changed, it lets you know how long I have came in life & how a great business still gives great quality products. Life goes quickly when you do not pay attention to time, but this place will always be apart of my life journey with its great products.P.S. one of the ONLY places i know i can get beef bacon. Delicious beef sausage & meat sticks.Also they have some great selections of frozen items that i can't find at another grocery store which makes this place a poy of gold.

This place is just fantastic they have excellent quality fresh meat. They have great priced meat bundles. They have a big meat selection to choose from. The staff is very friendly and happy to assist. There is plenty of parking and also easily accessible entrance that is handicap accessible and accessible parking. I definitely recommend if your in the area stopping by to shop around and be greeted by a friendly face.

I've been shopping here for thirty years give or take.. now they act like they are doing you a favor by being there. The last time I was in there the person was rude but I chalked it up as she must be having a bad day. Went back there again only to be treated the same way. I live a lot closer to other meat markets but have always enjoyed the quality of marshallville but if that's the way they're going to treat me I guess I'll go somewhere else. PS caught a shoplifter in there one time, didn't even say thank you.

This place has great prices on bulk meat! Beef or pork in just about anyway you can imagine, amazing and juicy chicken breasts that are frozen in some great flavors too! They have a deli counter for lunch meat or cheese. They will also offer fresh cut meat on site.They have meat rubs and sauces, jams and jellies, a few bulk candy choices on hand. I could go on! We love coming here! The staff is so nice!

My first time there went well. The staff was incredibly friendly. The selection of meats was great. You can find pretty much everything you need to cook a meal for one to 100 people, plus deserts. I really liked that most of the meats were already packaged and ready to go into the freezer without spending hours vacuum sealing. Excellent meat shop. I'll be going back for sure.

Visited for first time 1/16/21 and had a wonderful time. Thank you to the gal working deli (didn't get her name) the butcher Jim and the gal who set up our order for first wk in july and the cashiers all were soooo friendly and helpful with our questions. The biggest variety of sausages and different types of marinaded chicken around. A great deal of variety. Prices are very good. Beautiful cuts of meat! I love this place! Definitely recommend.

Grew up coming here, and it's nice to see something that has the exact same quality as it had decades ago. Unbeatable Italian sausage, great chopped sirloin burgers, and fantastic jerky. The only place to go if you need a big cut like a brisket, pork shoulder, or racks of ribs. The staff will take the time to make sure you get the right cut for what you need.

Only open 5 days of the week, so do not go on Sunday, Mondays or Holidays. It is a pretty long trip for me and they were so busy that they were out of things that I wanted to get from there. They feature local products. Prices are average on meats but good quality. Stay away from everyday items like taco shells. Alot more than what the regular stores carry of their store brands. Worth the trip though.

Absolutely love this place! You get good quality meat at a good price! Something can be a little pricey but remember you are paying for good quality meat! Well worth the price! I will never go back to buying meat at any chain store again! The staff is really nice also! If you are a regular they remember you and ask about your day! Couldn't ask for a better experience!

Let me tell you how GREAT the customer service is here. I went here a week ago to inquire about ordering a side of beef and half a hog. Please know that I have never ordered that much meat before. Donna, not only thoroughly explained the process to my wife and I, but she walked us through the store to show us what we would/could get from our order. I had my kids with me, she offered us crayons and coloring pages to keep them busy. When I walked out of there, I felt so confident in my investment and I didn't even have my order yet! They have earned a lifetime customer, strictly off of how they treated us. Their THICK bacon is awesome and so is the bulk sausage. THANK YOU!!!

The quality of their meat surpasses all named grocery stores. Their staff is friendlier and more helpful. They have the best jerky around. It's better than other are competitors, especially any in the Creston, Ohio area. There's no pomp or circumstance, just a great, down home country meat market. 😊

I went there to get the sausage a few other things the place is nearly empty. It works here you three of them working at the front tree in the back working when you look at the meat over the counter reading pick how much you want and they will wrap it for you there's no prices the place still clean people are so nice to you I haven't been there in 6 years maybe seven and they still recognize me I always loved going there to get my dinner meat

Great place to shop, you can get such a good variety of meats here! And just about anything else. Would love to go back again and will. The sausages are particularly tasty!
