Just went in to look around and check out a few things and see if they carried any replacement parts that I needed. Nobody does, you'll have to order the things I'm looking for off alarm. But when associates do help, they are very friendly and helpful. It is pleasant.

First time experience and very pleased. We had been taking our dog to another groomer and it seemed to be less about the customer and pet. Petco is a positive. Best grooming he's had so far! kind people who take time to listen. Will definetly go back.

Nice, friendly place. Employees are helpful. Checking out could go smoother. There was one cashier who had a line and every transaction requires your name, phone number, and other personal info that takes awhile to be entered. I understand for large purchases incase of return, but i bought a $7 toy for my cat that id never return and didn't want to tell my life story for a quick purchase! If that step was optional it might keep the line shorter. Just a suggestion!

Fair selection of reptile basics for a pet store in Marion. The staff was helpful. The store is clean. The check out clerk wasn’t very friendly. I think the only think she said to us was how much we owed.

The staff here are very kind and will answer any questions you may have. The store is clean, and the aquatic center is kept better than most other pet stores. There is an on-site groomer and a dog trainer who works out of this store as well.

This is a great location. The staff is friendly and go above and beyond to be helpful. The groomers seem to be good with the dogs. I have enjoyed bringing my dog here. However the grooming salon no longer answers the phone. The only time I have been able to reach someone is when I called the store itself and left a message for them. I have called 3 times this week. I am unable to book online because my dog is older and was sick so we had to cancel an appointment. Once you do that, you are no longer able to use the online booking service. Unfortunately I now have to take my girl all the way to Findlay for an appointment in a place where we have never met the groomers.

I have a large dog which I've taken there before. Today when I took her in for grooming appointment I was told that they have concerns about my dog. One was they don't have crate large enough for her and secondly that she would have bowel movement when she was there. We were told before that they didn't have crate large enough and they would just get her done and we would have to pick her up right away. We have no issue with that but today we were told that we be charged extra because of her size. It is not only this but how her tone came across. The feeling we got was like they have issue and just done want her there due to size. Maybe it is just this person but she has made it to where i dont feel comfortable bringing my dog there. I can say I will never return to this store again.

It's hard to get any help with products and at the check out, you WILL be in for a lengthy wait. Even if everything goes as planned at the check out, they want to know your whole life's details, which takes FOREVER!! There's usually only one line open and with the avg checkout time being ten-15 minutes, if you're 4th in line then figure that math out! You could stand there for 40-60 minutes! That's insane! Who has that much time to wait in line??? Someone needs to modify this process and they might get more business! I hope the right person reads this and realizes that this is not acceptable business!!! I like the store and how is set up but the checkout process will leave a nasty taste in your mouth.

My daughter went in to buy toys for our pets for Christmas. She went up to the register and the cashier decided to change her trash before helping her. She stood there and waited. She bought $60 worth of toys for our pets. I sent my petco card with her to use, the cashier rang her out and my daughter stood there waiting for the cashier to put the purchases in a bag. The cashier said " I think you can carry them, just wad them up". Talk about HORRIBLE customer service. It's absolute stupidity that people spend tons of money in there and can't get a bag to carry out their purchases. And the stupidity gets even worse when you don't even offer the customer the option to buy a bag if you've decided to start charging for them. I usually go there to get food for our dog and whatever other pet needs, but I think I am going to start going elsewhere.

My puppy gets his grooming done here and I am always thrilled with the results! (Just look at the before and after pics!)I recently joined the vital care program and I really appreciate the staff taking time to explain how to best utilize my coupons and other general savings with the program. The grooming staff is fantastic! This is my first pet who needs grooming, and they have been so helpful and patient with me. I also really like how well they work with my pup. And it's so cute how they give out a "grade card" at the end so I know how my little guy did! An all around great experience!

I've purchased my cats supplies from this store 3 times. Each time I've spent over 300$ and each time they want to charge me an extra 15c for a plastic bag.So I can order my cat food from Amazon or Chewy, get it delivered straight to my door and I would be saving 50$, why th3 hell would I support a business that is over charging me for every item than doesnt even give me the plastic bags for free.On top of that, young people in marion would rather live off mom and dads money and smoke weed than get a job. So if you do have someone working, there slow and talkative.I dont support amazon or Chewy, I want to staylocal, but i find it impossible to spend my cash here.,

Its cruel the conditions they keep these animals in. I understand that its supposed to be temporary and that they are selling them but it shouldnt be allowed. I got some really good plants for my aquarium from there but all the fish I purchased died which I should have guessed since they had tons of dead fish in there own tanks.

I know places like this get a bad rap, but this location is definitely the exception! We bought our precious boy Guinea Pig here in Summer 2019, and he is still a beloved member of our family. We also adopted a baby girl in 2021 who had been taken from a hoarding situation, after just giving birth herself. They have actually taken pets to the back to be scheduled for a vet visit, instead of selling them to us. We have witnessed them giving their animals top notch care on plenty of occasions. It's hard to keep up with that many animals, but their cages are never in bad condition. The employees are always patient and willing to speak with us when we need assistance. A bit high priced with some things, but that tends to be the case unless you buy supplies online. Would definitely recommend!Note: Currently no cats on site, for adoption. You also may not hold Guinea Pigs until you purchase due to possible exposure to C-19 or any variants. - Per the cashier we spoke with earlier this week.

This is my 7 month old Mini Schnauzer who is my baby. When looking for a groomer we wanted someone experienced and knew we could trust. We met the Petco Groomers and knew they were the best for us. Odin sees Barb, but all of their groomers are amazing and so personable. We are so grateful to have found such an amazing place to take our little guy! Also, we asked for her to give him a mullet and he looks stinking adorable!

Bags are no longer complimentary with purchase, which is fine, but I was never offered to purchase one for 10¢ before my transaction was finalized. I was only informed after I had paid & was just standing there with an arm full of things & a puppy. I don’t mind paying for the bag, but it should be offered before paying so that it can actually be bought.

This location is great. They had our cats’ food in stock when nobody in Columbus did. They had the online order ready within thirty mins. The two ladies working up front were extremely friendly and personable. They were quick to help us out. It’s always a good experience when you walk out laughing. Recommend this location.

I came to look at hamsters and asked to hold one and the worker was very disrespectful and rude and said “ no because you have germs and we don’t want you holding our pets” and I said ok and walked away. Honestly if I wanted to buy an animal I would need to hold it to make sure it was the right one for me and she made me not interested at all in buying something from there. Horrible customer service.
