Going to Kroger is like going back in time for groceries. They may not be the cheapest in town but it’s much more pleasant if you just need groceries. The bakery is amazing. The deli is pretty good too. Now when it comes to home goods or hygiene items you would be better off going to any other supermarket.

I love Kroger's. They have all the food you need. And usually they have people at registers so you don't wait too long. The Kroger here in Marion has the state liquor store in it. Sometimes the prices of the food is a little high but you go there ...you get everything you need. I love going there. It's pretty clean.

Today, I went to Krogers to pick up an order I placed yesterday. While there, I went in to get Vodka to make homemade vanilla extract. This was around 1:00 pm. While I was at the liquor department, a guy came in trying to buy alcohol with a passport from Honduras. The lady at the register said she couldn’t accept it and that she needed a US passport; the guy tried telling her that he had used that passport before; she then replied by saying that they had been doing it wrong and she could not accept it, it needed to be a US passport. The guy was okay and left.The lady (Sara) then turned around to talk to the other lady (Ashley) and said, this guy probably got mad because I didn’t want to take his passport; he didn’t seem mad or didn’t show it. She then proceeds to say, “I shouldn’t have to learn Mexican to communicate with people about acceptable IDs and their illegal documents.“ she proceeds to say, “If people want to live here, they should learn the language. I don’t have why to learn Mexican” while having a snarky smile on her faceOf course, my big mouth went. on to tell her, “That is rude” (not because of the passport but because of her remarks); she then replied, “It is not rude; he doesn’t have a US passport, and I don’t need to learn Mexican to tell people about their IDs and illegal documents” She proceeded to talk to the other lady (Ashley) and said “ I have been working here for three years and I am not going to get fired because of someone's illegal documents.”As I proceeded to check out, I told her, “Mexican is not the same as Honduras; what you meant is Spanish, the language.” She then replied by saying, “he didn't have a US passport.” I told her, “ I understand that, but you said that you didn't have to learn Mexican to communicate with people about IDs and their illegal documents when what you meant is to learn Spanish; Mexican is not the same as Honduran.” she replied “I am sorry you misunderstood what I said,” I told her “ I didn't, but okay, corporate will hear about this”It is not like Corporate would do anything about it; tomorrow, the next day, a week, or a month from now, she will still be there with her racism and bigotry. The sad part is that this specific Rogers gets so many Hispanics because of the convenience and location.I could have gone on and on with this poorly uneducated individual and educated her a bit more; one, just because a passport is not a US passport doesn't mean it is not valid; foreign passports do exist, and she cannot prove whether is valid or not, not being a US passport doesn't make it illegal. Second, the US doesn't have an official language, and the two main languages are English and Spanish. Third, Mexican is not a language; it is a nationality, and I am not sure why she would even throw Mexicans out there when she had just read the word “Honduras” on the passport.Unfortunately, this is the world we live in. It was not hard to just say, “We need a valid US form of ID,” and when the guy left, just leave it at that, but nope, she had to go on and throw out her racial remarks and bigotry with the other lady that was working there.I can’t justify what was said, and there was no misunderstanding. I am a proud Mexican, and my nationality is not a language, and not everyone who speaks Spanish is Mexican.

Went to Kroger's to find Pie Pumpkins. To make pies for thanksgiving. Not a pumpkin insight. Tried to get help while in-store with no one around I tried to call the location. It has been ringing for almost 5 min. The baskets are always stacked by the self checkouts and zero by the entrances.

I feel like they could stand to keep a few more lines open. The self-checks aren't designed for the volume of items most customers are buying and the cashiers are clearly overworked and spread thin in favor of machines. With that in mind, the employees are always nice and helpful, store is always clean, shelves always stocked. ALWAYS slammed busy. Employees deserve better for their great work.

This Kroger location is excellent for pick-up orders not matter how large or small, always has slots to be scheduled and the pick-up fee is waived. Use the Kroger rewards card for better deals and the digital coupons. Then come home and complete their survey online because that earns points quickly to use at their gas station. The pickup team always does a good job packing the order and loading in the vehicle. Sure saves time and Wear and year on the body.

Did a curbside pick today I have done there curbside pick up before today was different experience..They hit my car while loading groceries in a different vehicle leaving a scratch..Got home to put groceries away and found that they forgot an item gave me opened bag and the water had busted open

I eat a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables. I grew up in Marion and have shopped at this Kroger for over 30 years. I was a bagger for a very brief time when I was young. My wife and I have three children at home and had got away from grocery shopping here. Walmart just seemed more convenient. I just wanted to say Kroger has really stepped it up on the quality of their fresh food. Pu it this way; I won’t be grocery shopping anywhere else. This week we bought strawberries, Granny Smith apples, oranges, and bananas. All were affordable and delicious.

I absolutely love this area. Best prices for sure. And the staff is amazing. Everyone is always so nice. I have to go early in the mornings due to having lupus and everyone even early in the mornings is so nice. Every department. The pharmacy staff is absolutely amazing. I've never met people nicer. And at Starbucks there's one woman who always gets a tip from me because I love my coffee a certain way and she always makes sure it's made right. They all treat you like gdx family for sure!!

Good sale prices.Don't understand why prices at other Kroger's in Marion ( where I usually go, closer to me) is often lower on same product.This location big, great deli, meat, bread, cheese specialty area.Has a good selection of food, small household items/small appliances. Pretty flowers, beautiful produce, nice fish selection.Nice ,friendly staff.Has drive through pharmacy.Has fuel station too.

Always super friendly but this morning one of the employees was nice enough to give my little guy a hot wheels car! I thought it was so thoughtful of him to do that because it kept my guy happy the rest of the shopping trip. We came home and first thing he did was dragged all his cars out to play with it some more.

Seriously will NEVER come back to this *%*# store! I called asked the woman “do you accept Apple Pay?”” “We sure do”. And no actually they don’t. They only accept Samsung pay. Definitely won’t waste my time here again

An appointment for the covid vaccine was made over a week in advanced then when we arrived we were told they wouldn't give it because our insurance was still processing and that's how they keep track of the covid vaccines given... by insurance. So after calling another pharmacy we were told that shouldn't have happened, that they should have done it, with or without insurance. At the very least, they could have let us know they couldnt do it; they had at least a week to do so. On the registry for the appointment it was stated no insurance so they knew. I wouldve made the appointment somewhere else and because I live 30-40 minutes away I think it was awful business to not let us know until we got there.. Never will trust them again. I honestly believe the public needs to know. I hope this helps someone.

Do not use the Bakery they are rude and don't have the Cake's done when you go to pick them up, even when they had three days to do it. Had to wait 3 hours for them to actually start and finish it. All they do is argue with you. Very disappointed in this bakery especially when other Kroger bakery's have been pretty good.

Good service. There are only a few people who can slice the ham as thin as I want it. They can't do it Meijer. Kroger used to be great, but they have new people in the deli who won't slice it as thin any more. Or maybe they got new equipment. Nevertheless, I want my ham almost shaved, but not quite, and that's a problem for them now.

This time I got checked out right away. However the last few times there were at least 4 that I counted doing shopping for others. I would think the customer actually stepping foot in the door would be very important to the brick and mortar store. I'm going to impulse buy the online shoppers? Maybe not so much. I think taking cashier's off the line to be personal shoppers is an insult to my value as a walk in customer.***
