I was a bit skeptical about custard over regular ice cream. Ice cream is made from milk, cream, or a combination of the two, while frozen custard is made from milk, cream, and egg yolks.I must say that Whit’s is doing it right because I have never had has something more delectable. It was so soft, creamy, and flavorful that I wished I lived in Marietta, OH so I could be a regular customer.If you are in Marietta, OH then it would be a terrible mistake to skip Whit’s Custard.

Excellent place!! I can’t say enough about how how much this place is a treat. We visited Marietta College for a quick tour over the summer and needed an ice cream/custard break and this place hit the spot. The line was long and that should tell you how good it was. Despite a long line it moved quickly and the staff was friendly and nice with suggestions. The choices were good and we were happy campers with fully bellies. Next time we are back in Marietta we will be back.

Delicious frozen custard, but the store smells a bit like chemical cleaning products. Maybe I just caught them after a deep clean, but it was a bit off-putting. I'll go back again to be sure. 😉

This custard was so good I have had custard that was soooo thick and rich it wasn't good but this particular place has some well made custard not to rich just how I like it

Great frozen custard. As someone who hasn't had much frozen custard, but has had plenty of ice cream, I was worried that it was going to taste like a "lesser" ice cream but I couldn't have been more wrong.This frozen custard can give even the best formulated ice cream a serious run for its money.I won't be underestimating frozen custard again, that's for sure!

We come here every weekend to get our favorite ice cream, they are the best in town. But every time we come here we always have issue on the consistency of the order. They only have 2 sizes small and large sundae. And so if your out of large cup and people order large sundae why don't you tell your customer that? And please don't charge the customer large sundae for a small size cup! I was just wondering if were the only once who get the order wrong every time. They have no adult supervision.

Love taking the family here. We keep an eye out for the flavor of the day and/or week. Black raspberry chip is our favorite.4/1/23: Went back today and flavor of the day is Sea Salt Caramel Crunch and it was absolutely delicious.6/3/23: had a Penguin tracks whitser and it was amazing. Our 2yr old had a dirty worm and loved it.

We frequent this location often. Everything is always delicious and service is always quick as well as friendly. It’s is a nice place to sit outdoors or even inside! Relaxing environment and it is always clean. Love the added addition of being able to get a treat for my dogs.

I live an hour away from Whits but I still love going there, the customer service is great and th3 Custard is even better. I didn't know what Custard was but now I plan to buy quarts of their vanilla Custard anytime I run out.

I like Whits. They have a lot of great flavors but the last time I was there I got something like marshmallow chocolate brownie bites and it had maybe 1 marshmallow and 2 tiny brownie crumbs. Granted, my SO got the Grasshopper and it had a ton of chocolate pieces. Service was fast but they didn’t really interact with us, we asked a question and it was kind of blank stares so maybe they were new. Prices are a little high but again it might be that its better ingredients. I would recommend Whits but I wasn’t “wowed”.

Great ice cream! Good portion size but the only reason for not giving 5 stars is the workers when I am there in the evening time are not as friendly or as happy as they could be. I have been in line when someone their own age and they smile big and talk with them. As a general customer its normally a straight face, take my order, give my change and wait till my order is ready.

Delicious frozen custard! And equally delicious hotdogs with a spicy sauce. 🌭 Reasonable prices. Service was friendly, a bit slower than usual but it was early and I think they were in training. Definitely worth the trip and the wait.

Not good service at all. They had two people working and a line out the door. The girl did all the work while the other boy got on his phone. They both did not provide adequate service. They lost my ticket as I waited 25 plus mins for my order. Everyone after me was getting their order, and when questioned, if my order was next, I got little to no acknowledgment. I then asked for my order to be put in a carrier to go and then got the eye role from the boy, not happy with the service at all. Good luck. The only thing keeping you open is the ice cream. Don't bank on service.

Amazing, delicious, and priced pretty reasonable. The portions are fair for the price. Lots of different flavors to choose from and the flavor(s) of the day are always awesome! My favorite is waffle cone brownie...or something like that. I love that they have pre-made quarts in lots of flavors in a self-serve freezer. Staff is always friendly. Hands down, my family's favorite treat.

So glad to have a frozen custard shop in Marietta, Ohio. The custard here is on point. The pricing is inline with what I would expect. I always visit this shop when I am in the area.Nice outdoor eating area so you can enjoy your frozen custard before you get back in your car. Friendly staff and a clean store.
