Came for prime rib night with my family and couldn’t be happier. Portions were excellent, sides were well seasoned, and wine was delicious! Outdoor patio is a great atmosphere with calming river views and lovely indoor ambiance. Will definitely be revisiting to try more items on the menu.

Amazing food and outdoor seating by the river! We’ve been coming here for almost a decade now, and this place has only gotten better. The food is very high quality — always a great place for a relaxing dinner or a lunch overlooking the river. I’m sure I’ll be back again soon.

Would never recommend working there! They will indeed fire you, if you go in sick, with a doctors note, and forget to assign a waitress to a table, cause you aren't thinking clearly!! My daughter designed videos and a menu for this place...did some awesome graphic design work for them when they remodeled, and this is how she gets treated by this business! I can vouche for her that she is sick, cause I took her to the doctor. She's never been written up or nothing! Meanwhile she's crying her eyes out over this! So thanks a lot to this poorly owned company, if that's how you treat staff!!!!

It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but this little spot is a real gem! The wine selection is incredible by the bottle and the food is high quality and delicious. Our server was lovely and very accommodating. We will be back!

First time eating here in about a year or more. Everything was absolutely delicious! Started off with the Brussel Sprout appetizer. Prepared with Maple and Pecans, the Sprouts were tender and flavorful. For dinner, I selected the Salmon. Cooked to perfection! Exquisite is the best way to describe this dish. I could literally eat another full plate of this divine dish. I wish I had remembered to take pictures to post with it, but was simply too busy enjoying my food to think about it! If you've never been or haven't been in a while, please do yourself a favor and make the trip up to Devola, OH, to enjoy this absolutely wonderful establishment!

Just went here for the first time a couple of days ago but I LOVED IT! Honestly did not know what to expect when I pulled up front. If one of my friends had not suggested to come here I really don't know if I would have went...but I would have been missing out.The food was amazing!!! They use fresh seasonal food. I got the corn bisque and it was so good!!! I also got the chicken salad on a croissant. Have I said the food was good? :)We sat out on the patio area and that just made it even better. I will be going back!!!!

House of Wines offers wonderful dinner specials. Tonight's Tuna Nicoise was excellent, unique, and very tasty. The wine selections by the glass or bottle are perfect. Service is fantastic. I highly recommend House of Wines.This visit continues the wonderful consistency of House of Wines.

This is a wonderful place in Marietta, OH. The staff were absolutely lovely. The restaurant and the area with the wines etc. was also very cool and unique. The prices are very reasonable especially for the high quality of food and wines. The variety was also very impressive. It is a must visit if in this area.

Lovely atmosphere outside, wonderful waitress. The food was delicious, as always. My friend and I, who ordered the scallop special, were in shock that 3 scallops over rice cost us $42! My friend has had them many times there at a much more reasonable price. We expressed our shock to our waitress saying she should have mentioned the price or it should have been posted on the "specials" board inside. We realize prices have gone up everywhere but this was, we felt, unreasonable and impolite not to inform us of. Unfortunately, this has affected my opinion of HOW.

Reservations are recommended. Parking is fairly tight. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The waitress said they keep the inside seating very cold, so bring a jacket. Food was good. The outdoor seating overlooks the Muskingum River.

Neat little place outside Marietta. Had an anniversary dinner here for parents... Party of 9. Seating off two sides of a little wine shop. Good selection of cigars, decent wine selection. Pricing was GREAT for a private wine shop. Probably one of the greatest things they offer... Pick out wine from the shop and have it brought to your table! With the great prices this is an awesome perk! We had a bottle of Latour Burgundy and a bottle of house Moscato for $30. Our meals were delicious and priced fairly. Will definitely put this stop in the rotation when we are in town!

We sat outside on a lovely patio with a beautiful view of the river. The food was excellent (we had coconut chicken wraps with sweet potato fries), came out hot & delicious. Indoor seating & nice selection of Ohio wines & craft beers for sale in the storefront. We'd definitely go there again and bring friends too!

The owner strives to make food that is handmade and visually appealing. The outside dining is an excellent atmosphere. The wine and beer selections in the shop are extensive. You won't walk away without wanting to try something new.

Go for the food! It is outstanding both taste and display. Unfortunately this was our first time there and didn't know they usually require reservations so we had to resort to sitting on a large picnic table outside. It was a beautiful day to sit by the river and enjoy each other. The service was very slow but they were packed. The meal took 1.5 hours to receive and one of our appetizers came with the meals... They're focus is clearly on food and presentation but could use a little bit of help in timeliness. This is only reason it wasn't a 5 star. We'll be back and won't plan on being in a hurry to leave. (Their beer and wine selection is awesome!)

This place never disappoints!Today we celebrated my wife's birthday with friends. We ordered most if the appetizers (all were amazing) of with the tuna nachos, loaded fries and bacon wrapped dates were our favorite. Our party order burgers, salmon, prime rib. The prime rib was cooked perfect with grest flavor. The sides were even amazing...potatoe salad, scallop potatoes were very good. If you add on top of the amazing food a wide selection of beer and wine you really can never go wrong. Chef and her staff were amazing. As you leave you can look through a huge selection of import and local beer and wineI have had the pleasure of doing dozens of food reviews but this is my favorite place to eat by far close to home.

The wine burger is to die for, it ranks among my top five burgers that I've had in my life. Really friendly wait staff. Service is a bit slow if they're busy and getting a reservation is preferred; walk in space is limited.

My wife and I went for lunch the other day. The food was great, but we waited nearly 20 minutes from the time we were seated before our server came to the table with water and to even take our initial drink orders. After our food arrived, we were never offered more to drink either. They had a large party outside and it seemed our little party of two completely fell to the wayside, which was a bit disappointing for the price paid.

Had the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. They were weird to us when we did not have reservations. They attempted to seat us outside but the table was taken and there were quite a few empty tables but they sat us inside with the pretext of moving us outside if a table became available. We waited at least twenty minutes before our waitress arrived with a terrible attitude. We ordered right away and then waited at least thirty minutes for part of our order and another thirty minutes passed and were still waiting for a sandwich, bread, pommes frites and lobster bisque and had to flag down another waitress to ask about it and then waited another twenty minutes for two of the four things. We were told the other two orders would be taken off the bill, big favor for something we didn’t receive and then when we got the bill, it was not taken off. They just made excuses with no apology. I will not go back. The food was mediocre at best and service the worst.

I ate dinner at the House of Wines last night (May 23rd) with some friends. We sat outside since it was such a beautiful evening very enjoyable. I ordered their dinner special which was prime rib for $26 with mashed potatoes and green beans. I can honestly say that was the best prime rib I've had in a long time. Absolutely delicious the entire dinner was fantastic! The servers were great, friendly and very helpful. One of my friends had the turkey wrap and the other had the salmon dinner they were both very pleased with their meals as well. Good selection of wine and reasonable prices.Definitely a 5 star! We will be back.Thank you House of Wines for a wonderful, satisfying and relaxing evening.
