I don't really like this new Big Lts. The other one had more stuff theno groceries and a few odds and ends. I think Wal*Mary and Big Lots are about the same in price.

I literally can't stand this place. The furniture is junk. It is really 50/50 if you get something that is broken or not.A frustrating thing is we came in to get a dresser and wanted to take advantage of the 20% off (or 25%). When I asked the lady for help she told me that it wasn't for all furniture, yet the sales tag clearly stated "All Furniture". I won't be back, and I suggest you do the same.

The Big Lots here in Marietta ohio is so nice! Clean! Organized! And has quality merchandise! This is sooooo different than the Big Lots down south where I'm from.

Big lot's use to be one of the cheapest store's around but when i visited the marietta location i felt that the price's is way to damn high but i guess they are just like any other retail store just money hungry and hell for the price of their furniture i could go somewhere else and get it a little cheaper and if store's like big lot's and walmart and kroger's would lower their price's they would get more volume of people

I like big lots, seems like their getting better products in and that shows in their prices but still reasonable. I go by there every once in a while to see what all they have. The furniture selection is decent and I have bought some from their just be sure to buy the extended warranty on the furniture. We bought a couch there and it broke down quickly but we had the extended warranty and I had to send pics of the couch and they sent me big lots gift card for the amount of the couch so we could go get a new one! I think the extended warranty was fairly cheap for like 3 years so I recommend you purchase it if you're buying furniture.

Employees are friendly but prices are little high on things. They do carry things other stores don't. I sometimes can find good deals here just have to look for them. They do have nice looking furniture and prices are competitive with other stores but read reviews before buying here. One good thing they have is the progressive company they use to help on payment plans if you qualify.

The layout of this store is confusing and not at all like any Big Lot store I have ever been to. It felt like walking into a furniture store that was trying to be a TJ Max. The store was also poorly organized. The edges of the store felt like the same isle split by the rest of the store. The only reason this store gets 2 stars is because of the prices and deals that I got and the cleanliness. The only time I seen an employee was at the checkout which also was like a maze and only one employee who was also answering phones. (The employee was very nice and asked if I found everything ok, although at that point it didn't matter.)My recommendation for the store is to keep with the layout of what a BigLots is. Give your employees a chance to work instead of everyone in the store walking through a maze. Last but not least, open up the checkout area to where your customers know how it works. I couldn't tell the difference between a customer standing and waiting to be checked out and the employee trying to work. The check out is so over populated by items.

The guy with the beard and the crazy colored hair at checkout is AMAZING he is funny and nice and helped me out when my cashier had no idea what she was doing!! Love that guy! Hire more people like him!

Store was clean, emp were polite, helpful, and happy, and the shelves were relatively properly (fully) stocked.... but it's Big Lots.... they sell returned, damaged, and unwanted goods... but now-- AT HIGH END PRICE POINTS. ID SAVE MONEY GOING TO DEPARTMENT STORES OR THE MALL

The new building and layout is awesome. The merchandise is affordable and unique to the store. I can always find good deals on toys and furniture that I can't find at other stores. The home section is wonderful as well. <3

We bought a recliner from here about a year and a half ago the release handle to recline the chair broke I went to Big lots with the piece to see if they could order me another one the gentleman that waited on me took the piece went to the back and brought me out a brand new one I asked him what I owed him and he said nothing at all ma'am have a nice day. wonderful service

The deals on certain decor items (i.e., fleece blankets, rugs, pillows, etc.) Were unbeatable. So good that my mother and I bought the lot! However, items in the 'furniture' department are priced much higher than any other retailers. Our cashier was very friendly and the overall experience was pleasant with no wait time during check-out. This is the newer location in Marietta, Ohio and I'll definitely stop here again...for certain items.

Smaller than some but clean and well lit. Like most of the chain the inventory changes. Some good deals but other things won't last so the buyer needs to look at the merchandise and decide whether that piece is worth it.

This new location is set up so much better than the old location. The aisles are more spacious. It is newer. They carry more furniture. The restrooms are GREAT! They could carry more merchandise.

Have some great prices that cannot be beat (e.g. Arazona green tea cans 75 cents, tombstone pizza 3-4 dollars, etc) but you have to be careful to not get carried away since some items are overpriced (banquet frozen meals for example, the small ones, are $1.60 where they are less than a dollar elsewhere).If you want drinks they definitely are a good deal though since most sodas/teas are considerably cheaper than competitors.Furniture prices are on par with what you would expect.Will update review if I ever actually go into the non food sections

I love the place but I was looking for a futon sofa and all they had was the display model frame, no mattress and I couldn't order it so... very disappointed
