I go there several times of the year when at the Cardinal Center... always nice service an staff... last year at the end of August.. they closed at 3:30 PM... pretty sad... people do not want to work... and as much as people want to shop... hopefully 2024 will be different... I liked their produce dept. and selection... in the store...

If the 12 packs of pop say 3 for $11 don't even bother. This is the second time it has rang up incorrectly. The manager with the dark hair and glasses seems like she doesn't want to be there at all, didn't honor the price and while my mother was speaking actively ignored her. Super unprofessional and needs to brush up on her customer service skills.

Dollar General in Iberia Ohio is HANDS DOWN THE BEST DOLLAR GENERAL IN A 100 MILE RADIUS! Their store is immaculate compared to some of the other ones I've come across, everything is clean, orderly, and easy to find. The staff is amazing they ate super sweet and helpful

They just did a store upgrade and added alot more freezer section items and items in general. I don't know how the girls over there do it, but the store is always perfect! Outstanding job ladies! Best store I have been in.

The store was freshly remodeled not long ago. They have a bigger grocery section, seems prices went up a bit though. Shelves were bare and they're still stocking them. Overall, looks great, can't wait to see it at 100%.

Pretty awesome Dollar General for all your needs basically. Not just your average Dollar General, so everything isn't just a dollar. The staff is always friendly, and the people who shop here are always in and out, so no lolligaggin. The only place around for a one stop shop honestly.

The store is located close to me which is awesome it used to be that I could find what I needed there no being able to go further no transportation and have medical issues but since the last manager left the store is in terrible shape items everywhere clutter lack of items available. The lack of staff as of yesterday heard store closing is at 3:00 now please send somplease do something immediatelyit was 5:00 just a few weeks ago.the store was an awesome place to shop

I shop there all the time & the staff are warm, friendly & ever helpful. They have a great variety from household cleaning supplies & fragrant candles to kitchen wares & small furniture. They even carry a line of gorgeous clothing that will not only fit you but your budget too & make your pocketbook very happy.And don't think I forgot about you weekend grease monkeys, wrench turners & auto body roughnecks. There's an isle dedicated to the "I Can Do It Myself" kinda person.In twenty words or less, you can find almost anything your looking for so grab those keys & go check them out!!

One of my favorite places in marengo. it's a bit snug and cozy, but their discounts on soda and availability of off-brand items is great - staff are friendly and the store is usually clean, might be a few restocking carts/boxes in aisles, but nothing to be disgusted about.

Horrible experience....the little red head who obviously is a manager shouldn't be she is absolutely unable to do the duties of an assistant manager or manager. She had my whole $145 order rung up majority food stamps the other was $21 of general merchandise and when it was time to pay the food card went thru card machine fine then the other was paid with debit and the machine wasnt doing anything and it took her 10 mins to decide if she should reset it. Basically it took 25 mins of her trying to push buttons on card machine she also allowed the customer behind me to mess with the machine which only made it worse. Then after about 40 mins she says ohh I can take the GM off and total this machine out with the food stamps and re ring the GM on next machine so all in all we stood at the register for more than 45 mins! Very bad service no apologies, just kept saying "I know and this is a new machine". She needs a few more years experience to be running a store.

The store is always cleaned and stocked. On occasion when the trap shoots are in town, items may be a little scarce. The employees are always friendly and helpful.

Hey when their stores are exactly 1 mile apart, one on each side of the highway, you know jic you forgot something after just leaving DG. OH LOOK THERE'S ANOTHER ONE! I HAVEN'T EVEN OUT THE CAR IN DRIVE YET!

Always have to wait to cash out, seems like the staff would rather avoid helping customers. The shelves are always bare and you normally wait in line for at least 10 minutes

Dollar General, idc which location, is just always my "go to" store! It's usually cheaper, more organized, and way less crowded than Walmart! I hate supporting Walmart anyways, unless I absolutely can't help it! They have stolen land from people in the name of progress! So, Dollar General will always be my first choice, rather than that place! Besides, Dollar General always hires friendly people, and they're usually a joy to talk to briefly as I run in, run out

Dollar general in my area is the absolute only place close , to buy just about anything u need from groceries, to clothes,household items even car and hardware parts and fluids exc,We refer to the DG store in marengo ohio as the marengo mall,lol,but honestly it's a great store ,I'm very thankful it's there! Sometimes u will be in line for a considerable amount of time ,but that's to be exspected,for as I said ,its the only place close for your one stop shop ,,,,enjoy!

I was just at one in marengo it was a train wreck the whole store looked like a bomb went off in it and boxes and carts every where stuff all over like a kids big messy bedroom the employees where fighting its a mess that is the last time i will go there and the isles are way to close together to i would rather drive to Meijer 🤐
