Had 4 new tires put on, and the staff was very friendly and professional. I think it was less than an hour. It was very hot inside, so we sat outside on the sidewalk. Nice breeze sunny day, so we enjoyed that. Had gotten tires there several years back and will be back when we need new tires. See ya then.

The guys at my PepBoys in Ontario, Ohio are amazing! They really care about their customers. When I pulled in the day before my appointment, one of the guys not only greeted me but remembered my name and what my vehicle needed. They were kind and respectful to me and to my budget, and even fixed a headlight that was damaged over a year ago when I hit a deer so I would have working lights on both sides (STILL waiting for the body shop to have all the parts to finish the body work!!!). REALLY APPRECIATE THEM!!!

Came here for new tires left here with a list of issues. One of which I’ve been trying to figure out for the past two years. While my check engine light just came on a week ago. I’ve been trying for 3 years to get someone to listen to me about my car running like crap. Sharpnack continuously blowing me off telling me it’s nothing, beers telling me my transmission needs a flush and rebuilt and now finally figuring out it’s my turbo. (I kinda wish it was my transmission). Anyways the guys here have been awesome, helping me start from the smaller issues and working my way up. Not only have they been helpful they have a pretty good sense of humor. With the list of things I have wrong. I need the humor to keep me from loosing my mind. They sat down and took the time to explain everything I had questions about. They’ve also put up with me being late twice now. Haha cause I just suck with time management. Anyways. So far so good!!!! Tires are great breaks and rotors are working!

Went for a simple oil change and tune up declined the tune up after they quoted $900 to do oil and plugs had a check engine light on the ran the code told me it was an o2 sensor wanted almost $800 to fix declined that then the wanted to change the air filter and cabin filter i let them do that and for an oil change and two filters it was almost $300 and my appointment time was at 8am but was past 10am before i was able to leave not sure why it takes over 2 hours to do an oil change and two filters and the person doing it got crap from the cabin filter all over my dash and did not clean it up just left it there took the vehicle in and it ran fine drove it home and it ran horrible so needless to say i will not ever take another vehicle there for them to work on and yes i expected it to idle rough with a bad o2 sensor but it did not idle as bad until after the worked on it before it ran good now it tries to shut off while at a low idle seems kinda odd how the only difference is they worked on it

While I had a great experience, they had an issue where the tires I had ordered did not have enough in stock. They worked hard and found me tires that fit and we're not much more in price than the ones I ordered. Work was done in a timely manner after that. I would make this 5 stars but I do have to take my vehicle back because there is a vibration now that was not there prior to the work that they did. Will update once I have that appointment later this week

Had a great experience at Pep Boys. Went in for tires for my wife’s car and they found a wheel bearing needed replaced and did that too. Mike and Daniel were super nice and provided great service!

My tire order was totally screwed up by the guy that took the order. They didn't have the tires I needed when I showed up for installation. When I told the rep that was working, Mike what had happened. He worked out a solution for me and got it done with different tires and honored the price. He was very helpful.

Was told couldn't sell me one tire,after I drove from Delaware and rushed on a tire with a nail in it. Then i could buy 4, then it was 2. Finally you plugged it saying i had to sign a form saying you weren't liable

I was asking for help on my atv tires all over Mansfield ohio today. No one would help not even walmart or some other atv places unless I bought there tires. But the guys at PEP BOYS helped me out and got the job done. So me and my kids can ride in snow and have some real fun. Like I said I would go there again if I need anything else.

Look I bought my tires from Walmart on blk. Friday and due to there incompetent tire dept. I was forced to call pepboys to install them and they got me back on the road smoothly..thanks

Friendly staff, got my oil change done quick enough and let me know that my tires were balding. Came back in later the same week and got new tires put on and an alignment, which took a couple hours, but again service was good.Edit: Went in for an oil change again at one point a while back and they told me my brakes needed changing. They told me that it would cost over $1k to fix. I told them that I didn't have that kind of money to fix my brakes at that moment. After I said that, I overheard one of the guys say something about how I was going to kill somebody by not changing my brakes because they were so bad. Mind you, my brakes were not making any noise and my brakes had no problem stopping at the drop of a coin. I knew my brakes didn't need changing, but I went and got my brother's opinion (also a mechanic). He confirmed that my brakes didn't need changing for a while. I've driven over 10k miles since they said I needed new brakes and still have not had any issues with my brakes stopping. They were just trying to scam me because they thought that I wouldn't know better and thought that they could scare me into replacing my brakes because they could make a lot of money off of it. I would make sure to get a second opinion on what these mechanics say, if possible. Some people are just out here trying to get you to spend money when nothing is wrong.

Ordered tires online, and it started that they were in stock. Got to the store and was advised they were not. Had to settle for a lower quality product, and it took 3 hours for them to install the tires, with no status updates the entire time, as they stated they would give.

Great service from friendly, down to earth employees. Pep boys saved me on my way back to Canada from a blown tire on a Sunday. Couldn't find anyone open on a Sunday or with the tire I needed, they came through and had my new tire on the existing rim in 15 minutes. Highly recommend!

Came in for a typical oil change. Even though they are short staffed, Zach and Anthony did such a fantastic job! They explained everything to me and showed me what repairs were needed and which ones could possibly wait. Usually being a female, I get more of a "salesman" service. Not with these two. They were honest, kind and personable. Due to this, I chose to buy new tires with them, Highly recommend this place if those two are working! Thank you !!

agoThey did not know what was wrong with my car they kept saying it was this and that charged me over $3000 and still didn't figure it out and took forever for the work there we're supposedly fixing what was wrong with my my car don'ttake your car here there very expensive and they will charge you to not fix what's wrong with your car!

I set up my appointment online the previous Friday for Monday at 9am. When I showed up 15 minutes early, they started right away on the diagnosis. Throughout my entire visit, Mike and the team kept me aware of the process and if thy recommended anything else. Never once did I feel like I was being sold something I did not need. They took care of the issue and I was back on the road in no time.

Worst experience I’ve had dealing with a corporate chain for car maintenance. I suppose I learned my lesson the hard way. $100+ for a basic oil change package, no explanation of upcharges, my concerns were brushed off when it came to the receipt. I was hurried out the door. Staff had no idea what oil filter was the right fit, service took close to 2 hours. I feel bad for the one guy working there who genuinely tried being helpful and got cussed at for being kind. Will not return or recommend.

Horrible experience. My husband works third shift and was trying to do me a favor by taking my car in for my AC b4 a big trip tomorrow. He called ahead of the appointment even but once he got there he was turned away because the guys were on break. Couldn't be more disgusted

I'm traveling from Minnesota to Massachusetts and I ran over something in the road. My tire was not repairable and Mike was able to squeeze me into their schedule on a Sunday morning. Got me 4 new tires and back on the road to finish my trip. I would recommend 100%

It was easy to schedule my service online, and dropping off my vehicle was just as easy. The online service tracker shows you what stage of the service your vehicle is in and estimated completion time. I received a phone call when my car was ready to be picked up and was told the total price of the service tax included. The two gentleman I spoke with at the counter during drop off and pick up were professional and polite. Thank you for the great service.

I was having Tire problems. I needed to get new front tires for my wife's car so we can make the trip back to New York. I went in and asked if I could get two tires and if they could install them. The gentleman who acknowledged that I was there after 10 minutes said no in a rude tone I can't get you in till Tuesday and then walked away. I think as a owner of a business I would never let my employees talk to potential customers the way this gentleman did. If I wasn't trying to get home I would have gotten his name and filed the complaint immediately with corporate. I used to think Pep Boys was a good place to go now I'm having second thoughts would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a almost emergency tire change or anything during business hours.
